Sir ,Come bck to Make a genuine point if truly the time you registered your account was the time of temenzo and the likes...you opened your acct September 22 and you are here talking about the people I know....mstchewwwwwww! Please dnt make me talk Bcs I would definitely loose my home training....who is saying they shouldn’t post ppr ? My question is why praising agent with jst two posts on your account....funniest part,he said he has tried three times...nonsense and ingredients

Oga, take several seats. Because the poster registered this month doesn't make their POV invalid. Even you just registered this year and before you check my profile, let me help you, I've been here since 2013.
The poster made a very valid point. This isn't and would not be the first/last time people would post PPR. If you feel its fake, move along.

With all the measures we're taking, for people who are genuinely "silent readers", they would rather just move along when they have gotten the knowledge they want and their PPR. There is certainly no crime in that and nobody will ban them for inactivity. We are to be encouraging others to post PPRs with that they did differently and not sound like it is a MUST or like it is our entitlement because at the end, nobody owes anyone a single thing.

olokings:
as a follow up to putting it out there, i will give an expose' to what my profile looked like and how i packaged my application. Long Post alert.

highlights of SOP and tactics for family visa application

start with a good self-introduction: - i prepared a very detailed SOP. this was intentional because i was putting up a family application of myself and 5 accompanying family members, hence what may be usually overlooked at for single applicants / those leaving their family members behind may not necessarily apply to me given i will be subjected to even more scrutiny.
I drafted my SOP with a clear table of contents, i wrote it with a title, sub-titles, and bolden+italics for points i needed to highlight of importance. i started my SOP with an introduction to myself as though a typical job interview [name, DOB, educational background, professional certification, career highlights, etc.] framework (it is an interview in a sense isn't it?) stating what my intent (to apply for a TRV [Study Permit], and my dependents' [Spousal Open Work Permit + Study Permit for kids]. I clearly mentioned the school, program, start & end dates with duration in months. (highlighted the attachment of LOA, Tuition Payment [in my case i deliberately paid full tuition because i needed to demonstrate financial stability since someone who is going with accompanying member should have that logically] with tuition payment acknowledgement from my school

To address the following: Why study in Canada? why not study in Nigeria? What are your educational goals? what will be the impact & value of the program you are going for study in your business / employment / future endeavours when you return to Nigeria? what are you job experience / skills gaps / career experience that warrants or establish the need for the study?
why the specific university / college chosen? - viewed from the lense of facilities, community, infrastructure, etc.
: I further went to add a sub-title where i detailed my employment / carrer profile, an opportunity which i leveraged to deliberately tie the proposed post graduate study to my career progress, highlighting the benefits, value proposition, how acquisition of this additional educational credential will place me above my peer in the office, position me for executive, leadership, and management positions, foster my private professional practice to set up consult after my career (see how i am demonstrating what i will do when i return), how credential & skills documentation a very big differentiator in my office. I specifically highlighted that i have embarked on a post secondary study during the course of my professional career (reemphasizing the value proposition) and how my employer acknowledged the additional qualification (attached the letter) and i was able to participate for further promotion few years later (attached a doc. to this effect). I intentionally mentioned my under grad project and how it positioned me to excel at this current study (further arguing why the study).

Then i moved on to sub-title, "Reason for the Study and Choice of *** school Canada". I started with stating how the program aligns with my professional aspirations, skills i will gain, and the credential will demonstrate experience i have gained in the field for the period i have worked. I stated how the program in the specific school is specially designed for reasons given in the school website, how it resonates with my personal goals. I mentioned that i have sought an unpaid study leave from my employer which was granted (doc attached), how the school is well known for excellence in that course, the community is accommodating and encourage easy transition for international students, learning is experiential, not subject to reccurent strikes and industrial action, cultism et al (see what i did there, why canada & not nigeria), how i prefer to use the opportunity to experience the canadian culture, landscape and serenity which i have researched on the net, as it is a great place for families (see what i did there again?, tactically introducing why travelling with family), mentioned passively that i looked at Europe and west africa, however, based on personal reason (some of which i had mentioned) i prefer to pursue the study in *** school, in *** province, in canada. I also mentioned how the changes ongoing in the industry here in Nigeria warrants talents to upskills and develop further in other to be resilient et al... grammar grammar grammer but you get the gist.
i went on to detail the duration, course highlights and how i look forward to excelling with accelerated learning during the study to ensure that i finish with good grades, and on time in order for me and my family to return on **** date back and resume my employment and private freelance practice at home in Nigeria (see what i did there again?)

Now onto the biggest issue, to address What are your home ties? why are you travelling with the family for the study period?- viewed from the lense of Family, Economy, Financial, career prospects, etc. - i sub-titled "Reason for travel with family for study at *** school, province, *** canada: i introduced my spouse, how long we were partners (doc attached), how we are very close and depend on one another for everything (see what i did here, setting the floor why i cannot be without her), highlighted various endeavours we have embarked on together as partners, both academically, professionally, and socially. gave some reasons here and there what we have done to ensure a stable and single unit family, mentioned / introduced our kids all 4 of them, mentioned our property (just one) which we developed together (added property valuation report), and how we love our home. highlighted that we are fully commited to co-parenting, maintaining a single functional family unity for the development of the kids psychologically, emotionally, mentally, academically, etc. because young ones are super impressionable hence we cannot leave them with anyone other than ourselves to raise (see what i did there again, we must do it together & can give them to any one else, appealing to the human nature of the VO tactically). talked about the personal aspiration of my partner. specifically mentioned that i need my family to be physically present with me during the study for emotional support, will provide my partner the opportunity to further pursue her personal goals of self achievement since she will be working whether paid / unpaid to practice skills in a flexible schedule, and i will be happy enough to perform exceptional well academmically (see the idea there now?). i mentioned that i have research *** province, and looked up schools there which fit my kids' educational needs, afterwhich i contacted one and notified them of my intent (attached communique docs, kids passed term results, etc.) and they are ready to accept my kids as soon as we land.

Now, because, my third child (only) was birthed in the US, i mentioned that on *** date, i embarked on family vacation where we had our child (introduced him) in the states, and as a family tradition of witnessing all my kid's birthing, i was present with the siblings. however i highlighted that we ensured that the birthing process was self-pay and in order to ensure that we are not financially indebted to the US govt. we acquired all zero balance receipts for all aspects of the medical procedures (attached everything!!!) after which we returned to Nigeria as soon as the child was cleared for international travel (see what i did there to demonstrate authenticity of return). I further stated that, since i am the primary provider for the family, it will be counterproductive to leave them behind and be sending funds when i am a student with limited working hours myself, hence my resolve to travel with them. I also mentioned that during our stay, the whole family shall be covered by comprehensive insurance to the tune of $****** (attached each persons insure cert), hence we shall not be a burden to the canadian or provincial govt. during the **** months before we return back to nigeria (by now you are seeing the tactics).

in a sub "head proof of home ties" note the flags - i argued that i am employed with **** for *** no. of years (to demonstrate stability), stated my gross annual earnings converted in $CAD which are backed up by paystubs, mentioned the future financial prospects when i return as per promotion at my place of work, stated that my employer although granted me study without pay there is a 100% reabsorbtion rate for study leave returnees, mentioned that i still have over 20yrs of career growth ahead of me hence the motivation to return and continue to climb up the corporate leadership ladder. i also mentioned my financial indebtedness to my bank where i recieve my salaries and how i need to return and reactivate my salaries in order to close out my indebtedness and enjoy my full gratuity and pension when i eventually retire. mentioned when i can access my pension, the physical requirements to process my gratuity (mentioned the amounts), my life insurance (mentioned the amount) which can only kick in if i pass in service and how this secures my family (see the tactic there again, reiterating family commitment). mentioned our jointly built home with value in $CAD. Mentioned my aged mother, & in-laws whom i support financially from time to time whilst specifically highlighting the medical conditions that required routine check up and treatments. mentioned my freelance business practice which just kicked up and how it can grow further with adequate skills documentation, mentioned my professional certifications, small businesses that my partner runs etc.

then i wrapped up with saying how the whole duration for the post study program is one big family vacation & bonding time which will create lasting memories for the kids and my partner which is one of my personal goals after we return on **** date back to Nigeria, hence i have made $CAD****** available for the period to cover tuition and living expenses whether partner works or not (see the closing there right?)

what is your travel history (if your have)? - mention all visa denials with reasons, give one liners to the why you made those travels to demonstrate that you are mostly intentional in all of your ventures. - i talked about all the little little family trips we have taken, both intra&international, even the small ones in my community corner where we have our home (all to demonstrate that we move together and not always without - further burtressing the single family unit mindset). attached each family member travel visa history pages. i mentioned the two denials we have had specifically France in 2014, and USA in 2021 when we wanted to birth our last (4th) child [i was intentional with this because we were interview for medical tourism and denied based on eligibility not met, so if i am not upfront with this, and during info sharing, USA agency flags this, i may be seen as misrepresenting / lieing, so be tactful].

Now onto the mother of them all---- what is your proof of means of financial support (POF)? - state amounts to show tuition + living expense (for full duration of program) + miscelleanous expense + buffer + flight ticket (return). mention any and all spikes in your transactions (lump sums), mention any loan obligations shown as deductions in your accounts (you can even use them as home ties) --- I started with stating that i and my wife will be co-sponsoring this initiative and attached our ONE YEAR bank statements (MBS). stated the source of funds as salary, consulting commissions, partner's sales income, employee emoluments, and other personal excesses.
Explained every LUMP SUM (excess of N1m creditted into the account, even employer payments) with verifiable evidences and refernce.
Now you need to note that the whole money used for POF was credited into the account exactly 9 days before i submitted my application, and the account was less than N100K worth before then. so what did i do, i didnt pay my tuition from my account, instead i took a loan from a lender, had them pay the money into a colleagues account, and have him process Form A to pay my full tuition for me. I added the tuition receipt and included the cost in my PoF. then, i had a couple of projects i was developing for my employer which they paid to me, (altough that money was to be expended to other team beneficiary by me) i held the money for 3 weeks after applying then disbursed. by the time i disbursed, the account went back to less than N4m which i further disbursed into my crypto wallet. And yes, i used my crypto wallet value as part of my PoF. i simply screenshot my crypto portfolio, my profile page, trade history, crypto platform's email confirmation of trades, email confirmation of credit & debit alerts into & out of my personal account based on crypto trade.
Then i prepared a table showing our financial plan for the *** period of stay in *** province, in canada
i started with stating how much our total PoF is $CAD85,000.00 required for all 6 of us.
aspects of the table includes; program tuition, one year cost of living, extra months remaining cost of living, miscellaneous, flight tickets (return). total the full expense costs. Added a line for amounts paid (tuition), and calculated the outstanding expendition. Added a line for Cash in Bank (PoF) in $CAD, and another line for guaranteed future receipts/income, and another line for fund reserves based on digital crypto wallet in $CAD. i quoted this because i didnt want it to be that we are spending the whole of our life savings on study trip.
I added a remarks under the table that i converted the Naira to $CAD at CBN rate, but i converted monies in the Dorm accounts to Naira at prevailing black market rates of US$1 - N580 because using this rates will boost the monies.
Then i closed up by saying that the amounts will enable my whole famliy to comfortably live in *** province even if my partner and i didnt work, considering also the fact that i have paid my full tuition (with attached receipt) for the program.

I further added a sub-title were i use bullet points to explained each lump sumps for the one year period, and clarified all my funding sources.

i added a sub-title where i listed all documents attached to the application as categorised.

then i went on to Criminality Background Check, Conclusion, and Prayer: - i stated that during the stay in canada, i and my family will be at ***** province, for ** months starting from *** data to *** date after which we will return to Nigeria on *** specific date to resume my active service with my employer while my partner will return to ***** her personal engagements.

i highlighted that i have a clean record in my home country and place of employ for *** years, and fully commit to conducting myself ethically wherever i am. i further made a commitment statement that i and my family will blah blah blah during our stay and maintain the scope limits of the visas if granted, as well maintain / adhere to any & all governing laws + regulations of canada.

signed my prayers.

PS: also included is letter of sponsorship from my partner to me stating her commitment to co-sponsor this endeavour financially during our stay in the province. i also gave her a co-sponsorship letter doing the same thing in her Letter of Purpose.

caveat: Ayam not a guru / agent / SOP writter / Review. so i will prefer any and all kweshiuns be put up here so the family can collectively attend to it.

na work i no get make me type this epistle as i dey wait make class time reach. lazy man sitdon dey look NL. lol

Best of luck to every one.

Thanks a lot for this. Really hoping lots of us can do something similar so others can be able to package an application while covering all fronts.

I’m sure if we have a lot of people do this and we’re able to point out uniqueness in the application and probably why it might have appealed to the VO then we should be having higher success rates.

Thanks once again.

Sponsor's business and salary account

Just thr business account had that amount

If this is the case then the concern might be "access to funds and how sponsoring your program might benefit the business".
You can submit the director documents and let the directors sign the sponsorship letter for your studies with company letterhead.
In you SOP also, tie how you will give back to the business either through innovation or otherwise after your studies (if possible)

Again, merely a speculation so please get your notes before you re-fire.
Shalom.

Yes , even my first application had like 140kcad balance In it after inflow and outflow but I was still denied based on assets and status, then the second application I grew the account and i was still refused

Then obviously, you really need your GCMS notes. It’s possibly a minor thing.

Added land documents from sponsor, sponsor passport old and new and previous visas, my family picture, my previous visas, affidavit of return, SOP, Affidavit of sponsorship and letter of sponsorship, reference letter from bank, all notarized, sponsor's cac, sponsor's salary account together with business account sponsor's work ID, promotion letter, anything you can think of

And I was going for bachelor's degree at thr University of Manitoba winter intake

First application I only submit POF, international passport and admission letter

Take heart Chief. If you'd want to re-apply, since you have just one refusal reason, order your GCMS notes - I'm sure the reason can be easily tackled. If you don't mind too:

- does your sponsor's POF cover your the entire program duration and entire living expenses? For instance, if its a 2 year course - sponsor should have $20k CAD plus entire school fees. If its 4 year course, $40k CAD plus entire school fees.

- also if sponsor is not Dad/Mum, you might want the person to send you some amount as gift deed to show committment.

I mentioned the above for two common reasons - their concern might have been that the funds shown might not cover the total expense or the VO doubts the access to funds is assured, if its third-party sponsor.

But truly, your notes will explain better. You might wanna go for apply for notes from CBSA instead cos I hear its faster.

Wish you strength, grace and direction.

Please how do I do this gift deed and I don't understand MBS..

Gift deed is a letter basically saying "I am the mother of xyz and I am gifting him the sum of abc as my show of committment to support my child's pursuit to further their education in Canada". Search on Google for "sample gift deed for canada study visa" you'll see samples you can use but make sure you tailor it to your taste and also upgrade it.

MBS refers to "MyBankStatement" - instead of attaching pages of bank statement, your bank will give you a one-page document containing a ticket and an id that you can use in place of that. There is a portal VO will go to verify it. You can check your bank app/internet banking for this feature or go to your bank and request for it. This is not necessary sha but it makes your document size smaller if you can do this.

My people... IRCC denied me bases on financial insufficiency.

If I reapply immediately, like Friday, will some good millions in my mum's account, the account of the company I work with and my personal account, what will be the implications...

Note: in my first application, I stated that my company will sponsor me so I only submitted my company's account

Love your fighting spirit but this time, make sure your financials are airtight.

In your LOE, prove that you will have access to the said funds. You can do this by:

For your mum: Let her do gift deed and notarize it - put the transaction receipt and her MBS. Possibly state clearly she is your primary sponsor.
For the company: This one is usually the complex one but let them do a sponsorship letter and let every person concerned sign the document and maybe also get letter from the bank showing the signatories to the account.
For yours: Just do MBS and apply with faith.

Also, be sure the stated amount will cover living exp, travel and fees.

All the above are just suggestions, you can wait for others to also weigh in.

If you see my SOP, you will see how i addressed all these. Being a director in my company and my course “Criminology” is to further studies on same Job i currently hold a position as the “Security Director” and will be one of the heads upon return. Everything was written and addressed with documents to back it up from the Admins office. My dear, i can only say i did my best. The only thing i didn’t do was to attach my head and DNA

Omo, at this point, its only God and the person that reviewed your file that knows what's up. At times, these guys make mistakes too.
I remember seeing the story of a guy that was refused because the VO thought the level of education he was going for was lower than what he currently had and they were wrong.

He had to get docs from he school and all that to prove. So till the notes come sha.
And take that vacation, this life na one abeg.

Yes I haven’t said anything because I don’t know the reasons yet and I can’t rely on their generic reasons that they drop for everyone not until my notes are out.
But if you insist then the reason is they don’t believe i will return after studies.. Does that make sense to you? With my property papers… 3 different properties i used as home ties and the 4th property being the house i presently live in. Houses and shops on rent. My application was self sponsored. My POF had a closing balance of 15M, no lump sums.. Properties worth over 180M.. etc. So if you were the VO, what issues would you have with this application? Why would i want to abandon everything i have in my home country and remain in Canada? If a property was sold to raise POF! They can say.. i would also sell the other properties and remain in Canada… Is Canada heaven.

Feel free to tell me the reason for my refusal… i am waiting. I also attached all the deed and survey plan papers to my application.
So you see why i said i am not relying on the reason they stated? Because people that used just family as hometies get approval.

So I can’t place my fingers because they didn’t mention home ties or financial status… so what then?

I believe you know properties are not the only things they check their boxes for - on surface value. All these can be managed remotely sef.

They also check if you stated how what you intend studying will be beneficial in your home country;
The job prospects of your intended course in your home country.

But as you rightly said, only the notes will give a clearer explanation.

I'm not sure if this is entirely "legal" but it's a hack. I guess because these jobs might not necessarily be tracked.
However, this is synonymous to working on a visit visa. I don't know if its legal though maybe others will have a better answer to this.

My option 2: A friend A friend living in Canada is offering to fund my naira bank account with the NAIRA equivalent of 10,000CAD after i paid my full tuition and then i print the statement after 1week, thereafter send back the money to him less than 2weeks. (He said that IRCC only confirms the authenticity of the statement from the financial institution NOT the amount as at date of confirmation. What is your HONEST view on this option

4. What other options can you suggest for me, i will really appreciate

5. Must i do the police report again?, apart from the deferral admission letter. which other document , must i reprint on a recent date?

6. Does it mean that if i tackle this refusal on insufficient fund well that there is no other reason to reject my application ?

As someone else rightly said, pls order your GCMS/CBSA notes to get a detailed explanation of the reason for the refusal.

However, I strongly suspect it was refused for these reasons:

- based on your age, you should have some source of income and submitted your bank statement;
- you didn't say if you submitted a letter of sponsorship from your sponsor but if you actually didn't, the VO will have raised concern about the certainty of your access to the funds.
- also, your sponsor should show some commitment by sending some part or all of your living exp for first year to you.
- I doubt you will need the Police character certificate again but I stand to be corrected.
- again, "insufficient funds" seems like a generic term for Proof of Funds refusal. It doesn't look like there are not enough funds, its your access to them that looks questionable.
- if there were any other reasons for refusal, they would have stated. But just try to make sure you leave no stones unturned in your next application.

I'm just an applicant like you but from what I have learnt o, which all stand to be corrected, address the above and you should be good.
Wish you all the best!

The problem is our reputation. Just recently, someone talked about how their Nigerian friends go to Canada then defer their semester and start working on a study permit to earn. It's things like that that give Nigerians a bad reputation and delay approvals.

Yeah?? It explains their extreme scrutiny. Many of us know the end-goal for this study thing is PR but I mean, people should just follow due process to avoid immigration wahala. When matter sup, they'll say its village people.

For real? Indians getting PPR and we are here waiting like say na heavenly race. The whole wait dey frustrating tbh but last last we’d get a positive result.

Omo I just tire o. I think they are trying to balance that their average time thingy so they're attending to older applications for now - or so it seems. Old application approval was also rampant around that July ish that February and March guys were finally getting PPRs with some normal timeline guys. But as you rightly said, let's believe for a positive result as soon as possible.

Indians SDS is active na… they get Visa in 21 days

In rare cases actually. Almost like there is no difference to be honest. Check "lets fly mannu" on Youtube and also the Immigration Canada SubReddit on Reddit. The SDS thing isn't always that fast.

E tire me too honestly.
But that’s one of the reasons they have crazy backlog.. Canada dey accept people from Ukraine that are affected by the war. It’s my opinion though but make them give us visa already, the wait don too much

I tire too o. I believe Nairobi office should handle African applications. There’s a lady I watch her YouTube daily and Indian July applicants are already receiving PPRs in bulk.

I wonder why we still have so many May, June and a lot of July applications pending for those of us from this part of the world.

Not everyone is rigid. He has a good sense of humor and that’s how his comments goes. Check his reply and understand why i said that and I wasn’t mocking so but I don’t expect you to understand that. You need to be happy with yourself so you can understand humor. Thanks

Uhm, CharitoJames I say this with no prejudice or ill intentions but you might need to chill a bit. Some other guy mentioned a couple days ago that he used to look forward to your comments and same goes for me but lately you've been coming off as a bit brash and while I understand it might be the pressure from waiting and a few nasty comments here and there, not everyone deserves a response and definitely not all rash words should be met with the same.

I say this with all goodwill intended and I hope you maybe take a step back and reflect on your posts on here these days - especially the altercations.

It will end in praise for us all.

Shalom.
