So meaning that, even if it’s self funded and the lump sum doesn’t reflect in the 6 months statements, I still need to explain add my mums property sale documents and the gift deed to my application? Yup yup. Better to leave no stone unturned. That basically explains the source of the funds. In your case, the question of whether the funds will be accessible won't even be there at all. |

msbaileyz: HELLO HOUSE
I WILL LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS SITUATION WILL BE TERMED SELF FUNDED OR SPONSORED??
LUMP SUM HAS BEEN IN MY ACCOUNT BEFORE SIX MONTHS, MEANING THAT IF I PRINT OUT MY 6 MONTHS STATEMENT THE LUMP SUM WILL NOT REFLECT ON THE SOA AS A DEPOSIT.
IS IT OKAY TO CONSIDER THIS HAS SELF SPONSORED?
Yep, I believe so yeah. Buttttt, you might just need a little explanation as to how you’ve been able to amass such funds. I’m not too sure about this but one thing I’m sure of is that the sum won’t raise any flags. |

If you feel attacked, I apologize. Now to Charito’s posts, imagine, just for a second that what you believe - based on a hunch, was false. Just imagine, how were you expecting her to react? Coming online to see “false” accusations. Better put, if the tables were turned and CharitoJames “falsely” accused you of using a fake monicker, would you react any differently? 1 Like |

Anyway, I will just wash my hands from all that matter. I don't care. And I won't apologise to anyone until I see solid proof. I'm out! What other solid proof do you want besides the screenshot the person that claimed they owned the account posted? Now to apologize, you’re being defensive. You’re just a very difficult person tbvh. Demmy10: It's PPR guys!!!
First of all, I would like to thank God for my approval. I finally got my PPR after 3 attempts.
First Application: Applied April 19, 2021. Refused August 12, 2021.
In the first application, I used an agent because I didn't know much about the whole process of Canada study visa. I joined nairaland when the application was ongoing and I learnt so much just reading through the threads. I wouldn't even consider it as an application cos the agent literally did nonsense, omooo, I was like does this man knows what he did? After the refusal came, I decided I was going to apply myself the next time.
Second Application: Upfront Medicals: 22nd February, 2022 Applied: February 26, 2022. Refused: May 6, 2022.
This time I applied myself using the information I got from nairaland, but unfortunately I got refused again. That was my fault, I thought the Proof of Funds was going to be enough, but it wasn't. I thought this would be my last application cos the refusal hit me so harddd, I ordered for GCMS notes to find out the main reason, nothing concrete was really written there.
"They said the documentation provided in support of the applicant's financial situation does not demonstrate that the funds would be sufficient or available. I am not satisfied that the proposed studies would be a reasonable expense". Then I knew nothing much had to be done, just to make sure my funds is higher and also to make sure it would be readily available. I decided to give it a try one last time.
Third Application: Applied July 2, 2022 Upfront Medicals updated to pass on the 17th of August. PPR came October 12, 2022. Eligibility didn't start until today when I got my PPR. Just yesterday, I messaged MP's to help me enquire about my application and they were willing to help and today boom!!! I'm just so happy right now, the feeling is so surreal.
I really cannot believe that I am sharing my PPR testimony, I just want to thank you guys for assisting me through this whole process. Trust me it hasn't been an easy ride but God came through for me. Then to my fellow July applicants @Thomsyne, @Isyma and other PPR expectant, I pray your applications get approved soonest. For those that were denied keep firing, if I can get it then trust me you can.

olokings: oh, please excuse my misinformation.
I only pointed that out so folks do not go packaging akara application supported with prayers .
However, the point of interest for me is what was done differently in the reapplication. If that part is trade secret, no qualms, can ignore.
Oh that. Omo if anybody cooks watery application and backs it with prayer, na OYO the person dey o. |

olokings: The lesson is in what you change.
It will be nice to share that. So lots of other folks here can learn from that and save themselves huge pitfalls.
The prayer part, highly subjective.
I kind of agree with makano. In as much as prayer is subjective, humans aren't robots. In as much as they work with facts and figures, their approval/rejection could still be subject to emotions at that point in time. A very typical example can be found in football referees. 3 Likes 1 Share |

CharitoJames:
The date says September 14, I ordered August 5 so I don’t agree with what you say about dates. If they were issued before refusal… why did i get them 2days ago. Even Eligibility that started since May was showing it hasn’t started. I will order another. You can’t be ultimately sure of the process. There’s the day the person that applied for you puts your application for notes forward, there’s the day it gets to the front of the queue and treated and there’s the day it’s sent out. There’s a possibility there’s a queue for all these processes hence the disparity you’re seeing. This is merely a speculation, not a statement of fact. But as others rightly said, order the notes from CBSA. 5 Likes |
