Are you aware current official processing time for study permit is 12 weeks, 12 weeks is equal to 3 months.
How do you order notes when your job is in progress?
No go use your hand reject your own application

The bolded is a very wrong take. Ordering your GCMS notes at any time whatsoever has absolutely no impact on the decision of your application.

Hello everyone, so here’s my situation and I need y’alls advice.

I applied July 5th
Upfront medical passed since July 18th.
Ever since nothing has happened on my profile.
Now my question is, is it advisable to pay tuition and start online as I don’t have feedback about my visa? Because the last defer date for deferral is 27th of September. And I can only defer to September next year since my program admits only in September.

Please help.

27th September will make it exactly 12 weeks from the week you applied I believe. Nobody here can give you assurance PPR will be out before then but just prepare for a delay i.e, either defer to next year or if your faith is strong, start online and hope for the best.

Shalom.

Good evening everyone.

The MP of Ottawa just finished contacting IRCC on my behalf. This is the reply.

However, my school’s deadline for withdrawal is 30 September and the last day I must be in school is 20th September.

What do I do please? I have paid tuition fee and I must request for a refund on or before 30th September.

Does study permit visa last for a year, I want to know if I can reapply for next year September admission

I’ve never been so confused all my life

Chief, this is good news I see here o.

When was your medicals updated please?

Cheers! We July applicants shall all rejoice

Good day every one
MY REJECTION CAME YESTERDAY 7 SEPTEMBER 2022
I Applied on June 9
Biometric June 21
Medical upfront 27 July
Medical passed 1 August
Eligibility around 15 August
Yesterday 7 September I got rejection Stating that I don’t have enough sufficient funds and assets to fund my education that I won’t be coming back at the end of my studies
NOTE
My age 18 years old
Statement of account mother
23 million in and out
Current balance 12 million
I also paid tuition of 9,000$ which is about 3 million Yesterday I felt like killing my self I was asking if God has forsaken me because these past month I prayed like my live was on it I fasted countless time
Another LESSON I LAENT
when I was applying people was telling me that I will get my visa because I am still young and 18 yrs I just finished secondary school last year
My dear people that all lie as long as wCanada is concerned age is rubbish if you like be 100 yrs

Guys please advise me I am frustrated and depressed even my mum is very mad now
Because she warned me not to apply for Canada but I insisted
I don’t know what to go
One of my mind is telling me to just drink snipper and die
Please if you have any advice call me

O

Hey Chief, come on, a rejection isn't the end of the world. Someone here said they got rejected about 3/4 times. From what I see, funds already might be an issue. I assume you're applying for undergrad of 3-4 years. Asides the 9k you paid, you'll still need to show:

- tution x 3 more years thats like 27k
- living exp 10k x 3 thats 30k

All of these is like 54k minus miscellaneous o and that's approximately 17m. A current balance of 12m won't cut it. Even 17m exactly can't. Your mum has to show she has the money and more. So if you still plan going for Canada, your mum will have to up her balance or get a second sponsor. You might also wanna strengthen ties to home country in your next application.

Reapplications have been touted to be fast - around ~2months so you can still share your testimony before year's end.

Take care, make more research, pull yourself together and re-fire.

Wish you all the very best.

I did that like five, six times already yet nothing. I also uploaded it along with my application documents. I did my medical since February

Try uploading to both old and new webform and also send to all emails, Nairobi and London especially - and change the subject/content of your email for each office you send to. Plus, I don't think you would need to do another medicals or biometrics. They are probably just slow in updating them.

Please I have a question to ask my thoughts why does some application get approved faster than the other no matter how early you submit what could be the factor. Same apply to start of eligibility

I think

- second time applicants;
- people with travel history to countries that share border information with CA.
- Use of MBS/how fast your bank responds to queries.

People with these details seem to get applications processed faster. Their Chinook system or whatever I think doesn’t categorize such as “complex” cases.

All of the above are highly speculative though.

Anytime I visit the Canadian study visa thread, I used to read of how Canadian Visa will test your patience level, I used to doubt it but here I am experiencing it first hand. My application has clocked 9 weeks today and it doesn't seem as though the end is in sight just yet. In the beginning it took almost 7 weeks for my Biometrics and Medicals to be updated and this was after constant mails and webforms. Currently my eligibility review is yet to start and my supervisor and program coordinator just sent me an email that they advised I declined the TA offer for Term 1..........this particular one broke my heart cos the TA team had already scheduled me to give online lessons via zoom and I was already calculating my salary for Septembersmiley.

Anyways I have declined the TA offer and by next week , the school will process my deferral to January.

In all I want to move on from this whole wahala and just carry on with my normal waka without thinking of Canada. I believe God will perfect it in his time.

My fellow June applicant, please drop updates ooooo

1, I paid my first-semester tuition in my first application. So, for my second application, I paid the second-semester tuition too

2, My spouse deposited 4M Naira (bulk sum) into my account for my one-year upkeep.

3, I moved the money from my mutual benefit money market account in Stanbic IBTC to a regular account in GTB. I explained why I moved it. The money was there in the first application, but I felt the VO was of the opinion that it would not be easily accessible. I showed a trail of how I moved it with bank alerts and stated that the account has been in operation for years and all the money was ours, with no bulk payment from outside sources.

Good Morning

_My sponsor ( Company ) Has 15m as closing -Balance. Pls is it enough as POF?_

_He transfered about 5M from company's account to my account( Lump Sum kinda). I hope that won't affect my application?_

Do a letter of explanation or gift deed detailing how the 5M came into your account and its purpose.
For the 15M, if your course is for 2 years, do $20K CAD + your total school fees. If it's 1 year, do $10k CAD + your school fees.

Then make sure there is still sufficient change left in the account cos I doubt a VO will believe that a company will use all/over half of its closing balance to sponsor you.

All the best!

Pls what does it mean?

DLI is Designated Learning Institute. Most schools on this list offer Post Graduate Work Permit eligible courses.

This college is a DLI though.

Greetings all, I av gained admission for one year of graduate studies, I have also initiated my first-semester tuition fee of 8708 cad which is about 2.8m in naira through e- form A, after this payment, I have 7.3 million naira extra in my account.

I want to know, would this be enough for me to serve as a self-sponsored applicant ? Along with the necessary documents required of me.

Thanks

So going by the exchange rate used:

Living exp: 10k x 321 = 3.2M
Remaining Tuition estimate 2.8M

Total 6M with extra 1M ish left. You should be good.

Please o I’m yet to get a response to this. Anyone who is knowledgeable on this should advise me please.

Depends on how much time you have actually.

If you are applying to resume in September then you should defer your admission to the next admission cycle. You don’t necessarily have to cancel it.

Because on the average, GCMS notes take one month to arrive then reapplication is anywhere from a month upwards. By then classes would have resumed.

If you’re to resume in January however, just order notes, repackage and refire.

All the best.
