Nothing over the top or lavish. Small and simple is how I like it. At the end of the day what matters to me is that we got married.

Now this is a classic interpretation of the continuous drone sounds coming from the vuvuzela!

I thought I was the only one who found it quite irritating!

But boy was it quiet last night after their defeat!

And they call me a snob when I refuse to be over friendly with most NL peeps off NL especially those ones who've extended hands of friendship off NL.

Thanks I'll rather be a snob than put myself thru such shit!

@Platinum

Too bad you got played this way. I'm not taking sides cus I think you also made mistakes. All you need to do now is learn from these mistakes and move on. Stop trying to justify yourself before anyone because you will only be prolonging this shit!

TravelRe: Malaysia by ThoniaSlim(f): 9:27am On Jun 03, 2010
I study at an Australian Uni in Malaysia. Malaysia is a beautiful place to relax, study, and live in. If your looking for anything else then look else where.

I've been in Malaysia for almost 4years and have had no problem. Its simple if your hand is clean and you obey their laws, then you wouldn't be complaining. The only time you start having problems is when your trying to get your hands dirty!

I don't think you were deceived, I didn't go through any agent, but with my dad's assistance we  ensured we  did our research well and got every neccessary info before applying. So you were suppose to get your info right and not take in everything the agent told YoU! Moreover if you read  your student visa well (that's if your one) its stated clearly that "YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WORK" and they also tell you at the Malaysian high commission in nigeria. so how did the agent deceive you?

I'm visiting lag with my man and I found the beach to be romantic. Especially at evenings.

Just take a picnic basket along with you. Its cost effective and you also get to spend quality time with her.
RomanceRe: How To Get A Man To Marry You by ThoniaSlim(f): 4:17am On May 31, 2010
FYI, you cannot FORCE/GET a man to marry you if he doesn't want to. Except you trap him into doing so. I won't advice any lady to take such route. Cus she'll just be creating future problems for herself.

Let the man make this decision out of his OWN free will!
RomanceRe: Are You The Real You Online by ThoniaSlim(f): 4:11am On May 31, 2010
Not necessarily. A lot of fake peeps online who can make up lies to make themselves look so attractive. Not concluding that there aren't genuine individuals online. There are a lot. I mean where don't you meet the good, bad and ugly? Even in reality when you first meet someone, you really do not know the motives or true character of the person till you get to know him/her. This is also the same case with meeting someone online. The only little twist to it is, since you've not met the person physically "can you really trust the person behind the other end of the screen?" That's why Its advised to meet this person in reality.

But in my opinion, when genuine people who are honest with each other are involved, it creates a foundation of really knowing the other person before the physical aspect of the relationship comes in.

CelebritiesRe: Mbgn 2010 Is Fiona Aforma Amuzie! by ThoniaSlim(f): 10:10pm On May 29, 2010
I just watched the show. I think she deserved the crown. Compared to the other contestants she stood out n she was composed while answering her question.

My little observation, there were so many diff winners that I lost count.

What's up with the miss this n that. Naija. .  .Smh.

What a disgrace to womanhood! Twahhh!!!!
RomanceRe: Insecurity Or Selfishness? by ThoniaSlim(f): 4:50pm On May 28, 2010
I think this problem lies with the bride herself. If the bride thinks she is ugly then pls don't blame her.

But I think that most ladies always look good on their wedding day, even the ones who aren't there on ordinary days still manage to look really good on their wedding day.

As for me, my prerequisite for my bridal train is you've got to be beautiful or else dnt even expect to be part of my train. Might sound selfish but I want my bridesmaids to be on point n nothing less!
