Afam4eva: When citizens go all out to protest the expulsion of foreigners from their country, calling themselves racists and getting support from important personalities in government then you know the country is serious about getting rid of foreigners. This is the Israel that a lot of people don't know about. I can tell you that all Arab countries tend to be more welcoming than Israel yet it's the Arabs that are always being taunted in the media and by people all over the world.

The ones that are calling for terrorism in the name of jihad are not properly educated according to the thousand-year tradition of Islamic scholarship and decision-making. Back when Islam was properly applied (Golden Age of Islam), the Islamic Nation led the world in scientific, economic, and social innovations.



Africans are for the most part pagans, even those who say they're Xian or Muslims. Dependence on magic and superstition as well as a complete disregard for reasoning and scholarship are what paganism has been about, and those things are still what African Xianity or Islam is about today. African religion is African paganism with different names for the deities. At least for the most part Westerners aren't pagans in this sense of the word. They may be shamelessly hedonists, but they're not overly superstitious and do take initiative (effective ones, not juju) to make changes to better their lot.

Paganism is the part of the African mentality that has been keeping us behind as a continent. The light of Islam is needed here, nothing else can shine the light so we can stop groping in the dark.

Great job does troops are doing in somalia. They've succeeded in pushing shabaab militants from the capital, mogadishu and all other major port cities. Even though shabaab militants control large, mostly desert parts of somalia, a functioning government has finally been setup after 20 years.

Well, that's what nollywood is doing to Nigeria. Yet this dolt referenced it as an example of how not to copy foreign things because a peasant somewhere was influenced to speak Igbo by nollywood. And that was why I used Igbotic as the right adjective to qualify his thought-process.

Even the Chinese you mentioned are currently abandoning their culture and copying the westerners. Community living should not infringe on individual liberties. If China thinks it's doing its country a big service by blocking foreign media, it's got another think coming. Those that really want to watch CNN will watch it. Others just travel outside and see the same thing. Censorship never works and unless your culture evolves and adapts, it is doomed.

Onlytruth: As for the original post, I opened it with the hope that someone in authority would at least think about one or two points that may help keep Nigeria safe, AFRICAN and progressive.
That is the least I can hope for at this stage.
