I want to rant right now..cos i'm so angry...

Petrol that I've been managing since..bought plenty fuel with my own hard earned money last week to fill the generator up on so it can last a while..

On my way out to work this morning (hubby had left the home earlier at 5:30), I just heard the familiar sound of our generator, I was wondering if its ours or our neighbours own, i decided to turn back and check the gen house. Lo and behold, a stupid neighbour of ours at the next flat, removed our gen wire and attached his own wire to our generator and switched it on. I mean, like what effontery is that.

I was so pissed and switched it off, and waited maybe he will come out to check. he did come out, looking like a fool, started apologising that his phone battery is dead and just wanted to power it on for some few minutes.. that he thought no one was at home, cos he wanted to ask us for permission. I've never been so angry in a long time..the guy just made me lose my cool. Me that was hot in the midnight and even my battery was low, we did not bother to switch on the gen.

To worsen the case, he was still begging me that he wanted to switch it on back just to power his phone back on. I'm at work just wondering if the idiot has switched it off yet or not..

How can people be so callous?? I'm hoping when i get back home the fuel is exhausted so he will see my red eye..

And his stupid ass will not replace the fuel he used o! I hate when people decide to use other people's head because they think they are gentle.
You should have given him time limit, tell him the fuel you guys are managing it and you want it to last so he should not charge for more than 30mins.What rubbish.
Are there no commercial charging places near your compound? And didn't he remember to buy fuel on his way home to fuel his own gen and use it instead?
The man is just trying to take advantage of you, next time leave the gen empty until you want to use it before putting fuel. leave the fuel in the gallon in your backyard or hide it else where.

See as the thing dey make me very sef. I have been taken advantage of by people before so stories like this really get my blood boiling. If I was the one I will call him back thirty minutes after leaving house to ask if he has off the gen.

I have not been taking any pre natal vitamins or folic acid, I couldn't stand it as the smell of any drug just upsets my system.

Please take the folic acid o, it's extremely important in the first trimester for formation of the baby's brain and nervous system.
It's very risky to brain development if not taken, especially for older moms.

But when i visited my mom she woke me up severally and advised me to sleep on my side with a pillow between my legs. I think it helped

Since I entered third trimester I have been having this issue of making small murmuring noises and moans in my sleep, almost like slept talking but no clear sounding words are coming out

My attention was drawn to it by dh who woke me up one day to ask if am OK, why am I making funny noise in my sleep. Another time the noise itself woke me up and sometimes I hear myself murmuring like that just as I am beginning to fall asleep. I was even wondering whether it's the baby that is now talking from inside my stomach and coming out from my mouth because before I got pregnant I never used to sleep talk or murmur.

What is causing it now? Na wa for me and my funny pregnancy symptoms o. Na only me waka come sef? Abi had anyone else experienced this kind of thing?

Please mamas help me o. Last night i started feeling some painful tightness in the upper part of my abdomen(from under my breast to my navel). It really hurts it lasts for some time and then stops for sometime. I couldnt sleep through the night and when the tightness starts i cannot move my body due to the pain. I went for scan this morning before heading to the hospital. Sonographer says no problem with baby. The nurse on duty prescribed valium and paracetamol for me that if it doesnt improve in 2days i should be back asap. She also gave me strict bed rest. Is this normal? Or should i be worried.
PS. this is my 33/34th week

My opinion is that it is heartburn, I get the chest pain sometimes, very severe like a deep heavy pain. I treat it with honey and that proves to be a fast effective cure for heartburn. If you have honey try it and see if it helps.
Infact I got the same pain this afternoon after eating one pepperish jollof rice. I think you pain is heartburn sha.

Went to my private hospital this evening.. I'm still not dilating.. Dr asked me exercise more and come in 3days time unlike the general hospital that gave me one week

I had itchy skin too at a time,it was all over my body with swellings like mosquito bite sef. But mine was a reaction(according to my dr). Pls complain to a doctor /nurse si they can kmow the actual cause. Also dont use hot water to bathe it triggers itching

Funny enough the scalding hot water I bath with is what calms the itching for some hours. Yes, I intend to see the dr tomorrow thanks, altho the man dey make me vex.

Ogbono soup (my method)

I put my boiled meat, intestines,there's another method of frying the ogbono but I can't remember it.

Your method is nice.
The other way of frying the ogbono which my mama teach me is to fry the smoothly blended ogbono first in palm oil. You put the palm oil on stove to start heating first on low heat then when it gets a bit hot (not too hot) you put the blended ogbono in the hot oil and stir. The oil should not be much to drown the ogbono, just to mix it evenly and change the color to red. After adding it you stir continously and mix the oil and ogbono in the pot till it gets the texture similar to fresh garri or untill it is smooth without lumps. Then add the fried ogbono to your meatstock before cooking with it. This method is to make sure there are no big, unscattered lumps of ogbono in your pot while cooking and after cooking the soup.

Hello everyone, pls I need help with itchy skin. I get it every morning mostly on my thighs then my legs then stomach and arms. Its bad.
Its like am getting needle pricks all over my body when it starts and it lasts for hours sometimes till early afternoon and it is so uncomfortable, I really want it to stop. I moisturize very well, bath with hot water and lie on clean sheets so I have no idea what the problem is. I tried shea butter but its still there.
Any other cream I can use? Any anti itch cream suggestion? Thanks for helping.

Yea, LO is doing very well, thanks. All this sleeplessness is really bothering me, honestly. Total of 5 loo visits last night. When I finally started to drift off around after 4 in the morning oga come start hin own wahala, I don't know why he insists on cuddling in this hot weather. When you start stretching out to sleep he will just carry his heavy hand on you and wake you again in the name of cuddling. Plus all his endless tossing and turning while you are locked in his heavy hand. I don tell am say I no like cuddle before but he no dey hear word. I hope I don't vex and start shouting one day.

Abeg e don do for me and my plenty tory. I hope your sleeping situation gets better.

My own is more than a month now and am just 6 months. I've peed like 3ice already since 9 last night.

What helps me go back to sleep is to lie on a cool surface and in a relaxed position and clear my head of random thoughts. Its easier if you do some random exercise during the day.

I feel you should use the relaxant. You are still very far from EDD. He probably felt and saw you had contraction. It's better to be safe than to be sorry. u need to rest a lot too.

First of all, preterm labor sometimes doesn't present itself as labor and it can be spontaneous. What you described above could be preterm labor and don't forget he's a professional. I want to believe he's a gynecologist. Some of these things don't need test or scan to ascertain. You said he examined you, he must have a reason for prescribing those drugs.
Please, take the drug if you want. It's safe. Don't stress yourself. Give yourself bed rest if you can and report back to him if it continues.
Please, if you are constantly questioning your doctor's judgement, change your doctor. You can't be playing gamble with your pregnancy.

Lol, not that I want to gamble though, I just want to take precautions before swallowing any drug, I know the mental distress I went through before I got this baby. I was even on clomid for sometime.

I had the same issue at 28 weeks with my 2nd. I complained to d gynea and he prescribed sabutamol and paracetamol and told me that I needed to rest. He didn't check me as well. When I asked him,he calmly told me he has attended to hundreds of preggy women before and from experience,he understands the peculiarity of my case.I took the drugs and tested well for like 3days. Baby came at 40 weeks,3days.

Shebi it wasn't induced birth sha? Because I fear induced birth pass anything.
