I'm glad I came across this trend. Please I started having this yellowish discharge this morning. It looked extremely thick in the morning. But thinner this evening. I'm just very worried. Don't know if anyone here has experienced such.
BTW.. I'M 16WKS GONE
Just seeing this. You must be an October mama. Mid-October or there about. We can't wait to have you. grin
Just tell us your EDD and expected gender.
About the discharge, emmm... discharge is normal in pregnancy but for the yellow colour, I suggest you see your doctor.
Around 16 weeks too, I had that discharge, not too thick but white and I was told it's very normal.

Happy Sunday Mama’s
Last year I came here to announce my pregnancy, I gave birth already and baby is 8month.
So now I discovered I’m pregnant after running 6 home pregnancy tests all positive. I don’t know how accurate
6! And you're still in doubt? shocked
Congratulations, nne. My son was 7 months when I took in for my daughter. It was tough but worth it at the end, seeing they're grown and like twins now.
You can stop breastfeeding if you choose, I don't subscribe to being pregnant and breastfeeding another, personally o
Enjoy grin

*Some Healthy Tips For Pregnant Women.*

☆Eating well can help you have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.☆

1. Don't forget breakfast.

Try fortified ready-to-eat or cooked breakfast cereals with fruit. Fortified cereals have added nutrients, like calcium.
If you are feeling sick, start with whole wheat toast. Eat more food later in the morning.

2. Eat foods with fiber.

Choose a variety of vegetables and fruits, like carrots, cooked greens, bananas, and melon.
Eat plenty of beans and whole grains. Try brown rice or oatmeal.

3. Choose healthy snacks.

Low-fat or fat-free yogurt with fruit
Whole grain crackers with fat-free or low-fat cheese

4. Take a prenatal vitamin with iron and folic acid every day.

Iron keeps your blood healthy. Folic acid helps prevent birth defects.

5. Eat up to 12 ounces a week (2 average meals) of fish or shellfish.

A 3-ounce serving is about the size of a deck of cards.
Avoid fish and shellfish with high levels of mercury. Don't eat shark, swordfish, king mackerel, or tilefish.
If you eat tuna, choose canned light tuna. Albacore (white) tuna has more mercury.
Common fish that are low in mercury include shrimp, salmon, and catfish.

6. Stay away from soft cheeses and lunch meat.

Some foods may have bacteria that can hurt your baby. Don't eat:

Soft cheeses like feta, Brie, and goat cheese
Uncooked or undercooked meats or fish (like sushi)
Lunch meats and hot dogs unless they are heated until steaming hot

7. Limit caffeine and avoid alcohol.

Drink decaffeinated coffee or tea.
Drink water or seltzer instead of soda.
Don't drink alcohol.

Good evening Mamas, I have been a silent member for a long time. Good to be in your midst.
Yaaay... First mom to identify baby's gender.
I pray to find out mine in the next scan. Praying for a boy though all the predictions points to a girl and I dreamt of having a girl two nights ago grin grin
Anyway, whichever God gives me, I already have a son and a daughter.

Hello mamas,

Good to be back here. My baby girl just clocked 5 months and i just confirmed pregnancy this morning.

Please senior and experienced mamas, what are the necessary precautions and advice to adhere to given my previous birth was via CS as i cant go to the hospital till this pandemic is well under control.
Wow. Congratulations are in order. My son was 7 months when I took in for my daughter. The Lord is your muscle. You need all the support you can get now. Don't know about continued breastfeeding, I didn't get to worry about that cos my son refused the breast at 5 months. Just take your folic acid as prescribed by moms but I think you should get to the hospital early so that you can be monitored closely. Knowledge increases everyday. I'm carrying my third baby and it's like I've never been pregnant. Everything is new to me, as my second child (previous pregnancy) is 7 years old. Wish you a smooth journey and supernatural delivery when the time comes.

Moms, please I need help here.
This is the malaria drug given to pregnant women in my hospital every month. This is my second time of taking it and as it happened with the first one, my mouth will be bitter, I'll feel heaviness in my chest and I'll end up vomiting it.
I don't know if it is me or the drug itself

bimberry1307:
Sorry to about that dear. Vomiting is one of the packages of early pregnancy for some people. It usually stop after the first trimester. I experienced this during my second pregnancy, Couldn't eat any solid food only drinks. My sis in love Who is a nurse prescribed Tab Ancloxin 1 daily, it's very good for vomiting. Try as much as possible to brush light too. What I mean is that, don't brush deep (tongue) it can trigger vomiting. It will all end in praise, pls don't abort o.
Happy bumping to you.
The hospital I first registered, the doctor prescribed this anculoxin and avomine at the same time. Thank God for the pharmacist and the midwife in the new clinic I registered. They both told me that anculoxin must be prescribed if there are traces of malaria accompanying the vomiting, and that the both drugs should not have been prescribed to be taken together.

Please be sincere, was yours exactly like mine because as I'm talking to you, we have spent nothing less than 200k since past 2 weeks trying to know if there are other causes but nothing and currently loosing strength because no food can pass my mouth without throwing it up immediately. Drugs prescribed are not working in this cause
I just got over this a few weeks back. I totally understand you. Believe me when I say, it will pass. I almost removed the pregnancy too. I had to take two drips and I think 7 injections over 4 days at the hospital before I was stabilized. You'll get over it. It's just a few weeks, you'll be fine.

Kittana:
My Birth Story...

So I'm not sure how my application to be enlisted as an April mama was missed, even though I did apply early, but I thought to leave it be, because I realized I would not always be here to respond to roll calls, which really would not be fair...

Pregnancy was a joyride. Maybe not so much as my first, but again, I may have been overexcited then to not have noticed certain downers. I experienced no morning sickness as before...Also, as against my first, my feet did not get swollen - probably because I did not do pregnacare like one mama here also testified.

Anyway, as I originally requested of God, before the lockdown that would later prevent my mama from coming for omugwo, I went into labour at 39weeks + 3 days. The menstrual-like pains, as opposed to the kind of contractions I experienced for my first that were visibly making my stomach muscles vibrate, started in the wee hours of April 20th morning.

If I didn't know about timing contractions, I probably would have been really confused as to what was going on. I just thought to time the space between the crampings. They started out to be 5/6 minutes apart and after a while, they were just all over the place, leaving me to look out for the show at least, before heading to the hospital. In between, I was sleeping but waking up to more intense cramps.

We arrived at the hospital and everything seemed to happen quickly. I was given a pelvic exam by a nurse who said I was 6cm dilated, before a doctor arrived to ask of a late scan report. The only scan I did during ANC was on the day I registered.

Baby did not jump out crying like I see in movies, but it took like 5 seconds of immediate rigorous back rubbing to hear that scream. Baby Nathan is a handsome gee that weighed 3.5kg at birth.

Here's wishing everyone who is still waddling, easier journeys and deliveries.
Congratulations
God bless the newborn

Good evening all.
Trust our preggy journey is going smoothly.
Please I'll like to know if Obron6 is a good alternative to Pregnatone. I have searched all pharmacies around my area and none seems to have the drug. (I hear people say Pregnacare makes one's baby big). I actually got the Obron6 already for #1500 cos I couldn't afford the Pregnacare which is #4100.

Also please I'll like to have the book, Supernatural Childbirth.
