This is old news from 2015, when he was a PDP member in Jonathan's cabinet and about to be sacked from government by hurricane Buhari. As a typical Nigerian politician decamping when food has ceased, he has swallowed his vomit and is now with APC and is now the choirmaster singing Tinubu for President. That tells you that politicians lie daily once they are standing in opposition and their truth could be the lie and their lie could be the truth. |
Nigerialabalaba:As in the guy let cunning man like Saraki play am like ludo. |
Rollsnjaguar:You are right about the 1st landing being Togo The image below gave a false detail about the landing points.
|
oshozondii:Indeed you are right. My apologies about the 1st African landing. The below picture is therefore a misrepresentation of the landing points. However, the headline from last month was a cunning attempt to malign Nigeria as though another tech giant had snubbed us in preference for another African country. False headlines would be the cause of chaos in this world.
|
AGNESikpuNNU:Paid hacks for pointing out false news? And those who glory in false and negative news are independent patriots. You are irredeemable. |
AGNESikpuNNU:You hate your country this much, rather than challenge the false news from last month? And the person who factually challenges has been paid to demand for truth? It seems you would have preferred that the previous false report was actually true despite the opportunity lost to the average Nigerian who are not responsible for the failure of government? |
Rollsnjaguar:Where did it land in Togo if Nigeria is the 1st African landing from Portugal in Europe? |
Shame on you and the Buhari government. |
How is this news? |
helinues:Minding the religion of the deputy cannot be the preoccupation of the tribe that has already produced the principal of the joint ticket. That is a concern of others, not for the tribe of the principal. If the news was that Southerners will not mind, then that would be a reckless statement. |
helinues:What is reckless in saying the obvious that Yorubas would not mind a Muslim - Muslim ticket? Is a Yoruba being the head of that ticket not enough for Yorubas? Or is the religion of the vice who would not be Yoruba be more important to Yorubas? Other Southerners might mind, but Tinubu is perfectly right that Yorubas would not mind having a potential Yoruba President with a Muslim deputy. |
triple996:Is CAN same as Yoruba? Besides representation, what was the benefit to CAN that a pastor was vice to a Muslim President? |
Very true. |
simpleseyi:Wow! Just 7months after making the claim, same Saraki became dead politically. Not even 1 political office even in a Local Government in Kwara is under his political influence. He was unravelled without Tinubu uttering a word. |
Johnnycastro18:Who chose to reveal the identity of the girl? If the parents of the rough-rider and their social media friends decided to publicise their shame, how is that the business of those parents who did the sensible thing and hid their dirty linen? |
Any person asking for such private details is just looking to make entertainment out of the misery of minors and their parents. Simply put, it is not your business. |
Cross and Pere should continue their Truth or Dare game they always liked just because of kisses and smooching. As for the loose girl that was ready to kiss any open mouth, Angel of damnation, we already know her rotten parental background. Now the kids have all learnt these vices. |
I will rather have Darwin at a cheaper price and wage. |
The ineffectual buffoon. Don Furtunato. Return from where? Did he make Naira stronger than he met it? Was petrol cheaper than he met it? Did he succeed in his fight against corruption or insecurity? Was there any goods or services cheaper during his own regime than his predecessor? Did he not wind down the foreign reserves that Obasanjo and Yar'Adua built up? Did he not borrow funds to meet up with civil servants salaries, less than 10months after crude oil prices fell below $100/barrel without any major savings? Did he not keep his corrupt ministers like Stella Oduah despite the clear case of corruption, only to ease her out more than a year later in a cabinet reshuffle and reward her with a Senate ticket as her penalty? Did he not also mobilise the army to put down civil protests? Did he not harass a seating democratic Governor with a police commissioner? Did he not deprive Governor Timipre Sylva in his same Bayelsa state of a 2nd term ticket in the PDP? Did he not use organs of state to harass opposition parties and break into their offices? Did he not fund politicians in his party with public funds? Did he not provide the military and funding used to rig Ekiti elections? Was he open to criticism of his government? Did he not claim the story of the deplorable state of the Police college Ikeja, was to embarrass his government? Did he not silence and force out Sanusi from the CBN due to the factual claims of revenue leakage from oil sales? What about the long ASUU and Medical strike during his regime? Did he not appoint the financial disaster known as Emefiele to supervise the free fall of our Naira from 2014 till date? Did the weakling not call boko haram our family? Did the weakling not side-step DIG Ivy Okoronkwo to appoint AIG M.D Abubakar as IG of Police just to please the North? Did the weakling not remove Festus Odimegwu from NPC following remarks he made about past population census that did not go down well with the likes of Gov Rabiu Kwankwaso who stormed Aso Rock? Did Rabiu Kwankwaso that he was trying to please because of Kano votes, not eventually decamp to the newly formed APC with his Kano votes? That Buhari is failing does not mean the clown called Jonathan is now desirable. |
I don't know why our political leaders never like hearing the truth. Obasanjo never liked the truth. Yar'Adua did not care. Jonathan always lamented about the truth and considered corruption reports in his regime as mere case of ordinary stealing. Also since dollars is American money, if $20b is truly missing from our oil revenue, America would have known. Buhari is deaf to the truth, even his wife cannot believe the character somersault and has kept her distance. |
mrvitalis:Terror sympathiser cannot contain his disappointment. |
SmartyPants:An adult in each room with the kids would have even been a bigger scandal, considering that the school already had a rape case in 2019 involving a teacher and a toddler. |
wirinet:If the school had an adult teacher sleeping in the room with the kids, the same society mob would be the ones saying why did the school allow such adult access to the room of kids, especially considering the rape case of the school staff that occurred in 2019. |
BRATISLAVA:Can you prescribe the required justice in this case? All I see is that you are looking for a non-existent masculine party to blame as usual. You just can't accept the fact that kids are doing bad all by themselves? |
How is this matter of teenage sex a police matter? |
Jennyclay:You seem to have psychological issues and very quick to call anyone with a contrary opinion a rape apologist? Those who claim to have watched the video, both male and female, have all reported that there was no rape in what they saw. Instead, they saw willing participants perform sexual acts in a foolish game. If all schools are closed for the inappropriate actions of both male and female students, where would education be acquired? |
vasel15:Dorwadora asked you a very smart question, and you answered to confirm that you know those you support are indeed murderous terrorists. |
dadabashua1:This is the advice that IPOB has vehemently rejected. Instead nonentities want to force their minority agenda on the majority using threats and terrorism. Who will have the courage to vote to stay in Nigeria with IPOB terrorists waiting to kill such a saboteur? A non-democratic group is asking for a democratic tool to determine nationality for a people who already have their democratic representatives. |
Emilokoiyawon:Kanu really tried his best to nurture the hatred that would drive the anarchy that is coming. What exist now is just the fore-runner. |
seunmsg:Buhari is a disappointment and failure to those who supported and voted him to fight corruption. |
Penguin2:Why did Barth Nnaji put himself in a compromising position that made Jonathan sack him? Maybe if the PDP federal government had allowed Tinubu's brilliant intervention on Electric Power flourish in 2000, we would not have needed a Barth Nnaji to come mess himself up over a decade later. Our best route to fixing power was the liberalisation of the power sector that Tinubu pursued with the Enron project in Lagos. Tinubu may be as corrupt as every single state Governor Nigeria has had since 1999, but he is certainly a visionary who faced challenges head on. Tinubu's government in Lagos pioneered a lot of public initiatives and solutions in different sectors that other states later copied. LASTMA for traffic. LAWMA for waste disposal Enron IPP for electrical power Revamping of Primary Health Centers BRT for public transportation Local Government Areas were increased to 57 (37 LCDAs that will in due time become full-fledged LGAs). State monthly IGR rose from N600m to about N10b between 1999 to 2007. The very 1st state to embrace digital technology (Oracle) in managing its civil service and public database. Return of all missionary schools to their original owners, despite the disapproval of his fellow Muslims who didn't want their own schools back and wanted the Christian schools to remain state owned, Tinubu did not yield to their parochial opinions. Despite the return to private ownership, all students who were already in JSS2 to SSS3, were exempt from the new school fees charged by the returning proprietors as Lagos State was paying a yearly subsidy to the new ownership to cover the students mapped as state responsibility until the last set of JSS2 public students graduated 5years later. Tinubu was the one who showed other state governments the power that was inherent in a state government and the separation of power between federal vs state. Obasanjo will never forget Tinubu who did not surrender the independence of his state to the mercy of the federal government. Buhari will never forget how Tinubu championed and finetuned his presidential ambition, even employing his Chicago connections to get the same PR team that managed the presidential campaign of Barack Obama. Tinubu did not learn from his peers, instead he pioneered for the duplication by his peers. He has demonstrated an ability to lead and to create order out of chaos. Tinubu has managed a multi-ethnic and multi-religious society, and is better experienced at being an impartial and sensitive leader at the national level for a heterogeneous country like Nigeria. |
