Politics › Re: BREAKING: Malam Ibrahim Shekarau Officially Defects From PDP To APC by Throwback: 2:54pm On Sep 07, 2018
Does his defection to APC really change the fact that Buhari will certainly win Kano regardless of Kwankwaso being the PDP flag bearer?

An incumbent Governor Kwankwaso is not the same as a Senator Kwankwaso.

APC already controls the state government structures, which is a very key factor in the kind of absurd democracy we practise in Nigeria.

That's where their priority ends. They're clueless. No agenda. The Afonja's are the one trading the Igbo's for the North. In doing so, they keep enslaving themselves and future generations.
As always, the great Yoruba tribe is always responsible for the misery of the Igbos.

How can a tribe continue in a delusional entitlement of the unpledged support of other tribes in the country?

How far with the support of the SouthEast for the multitudes of beloved Fulani presidential aspirants of the PDP?

I reckon the Yorubas are also responsible for that?

In fact it was the Yorubas that traded Igbos to the North in 1993, when Igbo chose to vote Bashir Tofa over Abiola because Tofa had an Igbo running mate?

It was also Yorubas that traded Igbos to the North in the Shagari/Ekwueme government of 1979. Same Yorubas traded their Igbo slaves to the North in the 1960 Tafawa Balewa/Azikiwe alliance?

This same cunning Yorubas were also responsible for Azikiwe threatening the Northern region with economic blockade and famine when the North threatened to secede from Nigeria prior to independence?

It is time for the mighty Yorubas to show some mercy on their Igbo commodity and stop trading them to the North.
Science/Technology › Re: Meet Philip Emeagwali: Biography Of Father Of Modern Day Internet by Throwback: 7:48pm On Sep 05, 2018
This rehashed story again?

With academic qualifications that have since been busted as lies, no thanks to the internet age of information.

As one of the most famous African-American inventors of the 20th century, in 1989, Emeagwali won the Gordon Bell Prize- the Nobel Prize for computation but after such great accomplishment, he did not just seat back and relax, feeling satisfied that he had achieved it all.
The Gordon Bell prize is no Nobel Prize for Computation. That prize is the Alan Turing Prize.

Besides whatever Gordon Bell prize he won was a group effort by many colleagues that included him.

Even Ovation Magazine once did an article on him with interviews, and erroneously referred to him as Professor on their cover page, and the academic fraud accepted such unmerited accolades.

Now we know better with information age, else any man could previously claim to be Ceaser.

Ayam not understanding ....

How did the lady get the phone number of the taxi driver to call him that she left her stuff inside his car?

Who else is with me on this?
Taxify is like Uber.

It is a taxi service using a mobile application to process taxi requests from passengers.

Once a passenger is linked to a registered driver, the driver's call details are displayed on the passenger's application. Same way the passenger's call details are displayed on the driver's end of the application.

This is to allow either one to call the other to arrange for the trip.

Oshiomhole continue your abuse against the governors
you want to take over structure from them as if you'll be in all the state to mobilise support for the APC.

Just try and give Shehu Sani senatorial ticket or Magnus Abe governorship ticket and watch how APC members in Kaduna and Rivers vote against them.

I thought Oshiomhole was a smart politician until now.
What do you mean by "Just try and give..." and "watch how APC members in Kaduna and Rivers vote against them"?

Is it not the same regular APC members who would have voted in the direct primary as opposed to stooges of the state governors and godfathers known as monetized delegates of indirect primary?

The people are the structure of any democratic institution. They vote in the primaries and they vote in the elections.

Goodbye to the corrupt delegates system.

Oshiomhole remains smart.
Politics › Re: Ibrahim Shekarau Returns To APC, Dumps PDP by Throwback: 7:07am On Sep 04, 2018
Shekarau has never hidden his disapproval for sharing the same political party with Kwankwaso whom he defeated and sacked from the governorship in 2003.

Shekarau left APC the moment Kwankwaso crossed over from PDP in 2014 and was handed the Kano state APC party structures while Shekarau took up the Education minister offer from PDP /Jonathan, and he has abandoned PDP now that Kwankwaso has returned home to PDP, thereby allowing him to also return home to the APC he helped form as an ANPP chieftain.

Same way Dele Belgore will never share a political party with the Saraki political clan. Belgore left ACN/ APC the moment Saraki crossed over from PDP, and has also left PDP the moment Saraki returned from APC.

These are politicians who will never accept the leadership of one whom they consider as a failure who is more interested in a fiefdom/aristocracy, rather than democratic equality.

But an Igbo Ironsi as military president with an Igbo Ojukwu as Eastern regional governor, chose to betray an Isaac Adaka Boro that wanted independence/secession of the NigerDelta/Ijaw from Nigeria in early 1966.

The same independence/secession Ojukwu would later fight for when his own morning dawned.

And you still have the effrontery to think you are entitled to the loyalty of the same NigerDelta Republic crushed by Igbos, for your own Biafran aspirations?

Did you show true repentance that you were then expecting to be pitied over your desire for the same freedom you denied the NigerDelta when you controlled Nigeria and lacked the foresight to know that Igbos will not rule forever?

What does direct primary mean?
A direct primary means every Tom Dick and Harry who is a registered member of the party in that Ward, State and Federal Constituency, Senatorial Zone, State or Country, can participate in the primary elections of that political party, to pick a candidate for the respective elections.

This is in contrast to the current system where only some select few termed as delegates are allowed to be the only voters in the primary. These same delegates are already preselected to favour the leanings of the godfather or party leader of the political party in the Country/State/Ward.

And these same delegates are usually chaperoned, dictated to and paid to ensure the outcome desired by the godfather or highest bidder.

Na wa o. It must be hard being Igbo. The victim mentality, crybabies complex, and general aversion (for lack of a better word) towards Yorubas is beginning to call for concern.

These people need help. It's not inborn but rather due to what I'll like to refer to as an acute dose of social conditioning that begins when they were just babies, running throughout their childhood and adolescence, and eventually goes on their entire life.

Carried out by their parents, teachers, leaders and local media, through the repetition of the same simple messages thousands of times over long periods until their mind gives in and absorbs them, they're trained to have certain beliefs, behaviors, desires and emotional reactions to (National) issues generally.

Examples.

1. When the civil war is being discussed, you must blame Awolowo and Yoruba

2. Lagos is no man's land and was covered with water, we developed it. (This was what my 11/12 years old classmate told me in Jss1 in FGCV during documentation when the teacher in charge of our class asked our states and I stood up to say Lagos. Mind you, the only thing I knew then were the states and capitals, their governors and a few ministers. She already knew Lagos was no mans land and had to make a comment that I was wrong to say I'm from Lagos).

3. Blame Yorubas for the bad roads in the East, failure of Enugu airport and poor patronage of South Eastern seaports.

4. No matter the argument, you must turn it on it's head and find a way to drag Yorubas into it (like the writer of this horseshít has done)

5. Remember you developed every Nigerian city and everyone (insert Yoruba) hates you and don't want you to succeed.

6. Just blame everyone else ( especially Yorubas) when things don't go right politically due to your wrong political calculations

7. Every Yoruba man is working to undermine you at every turn. etc.

So unless these generation of Igbos fail to brainwash their own kids and pass down all these lies they've been told by their fathers, the victim mentality will continue for a long time.
Dude you really have a dossier on this epidemic that has ravaged the SouthEast across multiple generations.

I am sure the WHO would not mind consulting you to provide a cure for this psychological disease that requires massive rehabilitation of the sufferers.

All I can do is to laugh in IPOB as I weigh the idiocy contained in the protestation.

Typical Igbo inferiority complex, victim complex and generational lamentations is all I could comprehend.

The report did not also forget to blame the Yorubas for the parochial, clannish and rebellious image that Igbos themselves associated with what they celebrate as an Igbo beer, yet wonder why it does not have any appeal among Nigerian nationalists.

More like a Yoruba Fuji artiste wondering why he does not have appeal among Fulanis, Igbos and Ijaws, after deliberately striving to carve an ethnic and partisan niche for his musical talent.

I will urge the aggrieved party to petition the UN and ICC as they are wont to do, on this affront on an endangered specie. Also remembering to inform that their oppressors are the usual suspect Yoruba tormentors of their fore fathers.

Factual analysis is bigotry to the Igbo who rather dwell on emotions.

If you have any suspicion, it is that you already know you have courted hatred and acrimony and would be right not to now expect or anticipate any support from those whom you delight to antagonise. Nobody owes you any loyalty you never courted.

Professor Yemi Osinbajo and Babatunde Fashola (SAN) were mentioned and you had the idiocy to term them as nobodies when compared to Igbo technocrats?

I might not like Buhari, but I detest Saraki the more.

Buhari is even gentle with him. He would dare not try that with me as the President. If it will involve me shutting down national assembly for 4 years, I'm gonna do that.

I'd rather die than have him preside over the National Assembly if I were to be the President. He over dared the President.

He crossed the 'Red Line'.
I would have had him as arrested that very day and have the rest of the 107 Senators proceed to elect a true Senate President, and not one who had to hide overnight in the assembly car park and scheme to disenfranchise his own party Senators from voting in their very first duty.

That Buhari and the APC leadership refused to react fast and brutally, showed that Saraki knew he was dealing with toothless bulldogs.
