I never understood why he previously included ChannelsTV and NTA as fellow respondents to his suit? Is it a crime for a news station to report what the police force disclosed that Mr So So So is wanted by the police force? Or is he saying they shouldn't have reported what was factual news coming from the police HQ that they are declaring a certain man wanted? Or did the police ever deny that they declared him wanted as reported by those news stations? His lawyer has suddenly grown some common sense and rightly revised the respondents to the suit as only the Police IG and the Force PRO. |
donbenie:Yes it is, but we launched it when we played England at Wembley in November 1994. |
emperorchedda:We changed our kit after the 1994 world cup from Adidas to Nike. I believe we launched our Nike jersey when we played England at Wembley in November 1994. |
Similar to our very first Nike Jersey in 1994. Same design type of Yellow and Black worn by Dortmund in the mid 1990's. |
LordAdam16:You claim you saw progress from OBJ to Yar'Adua to GEJ? Yet the foreign reserves built by OBJ from $3b+ to $45b+ despite still paying $18b as foreign debt following $12b debt relief, and which Yar'Adua moved from $45b to $47b despite spending about $16b to defend the economy following the global economic crisis of 2008 - 2009, was what a clueless Jonathan reduced to $29b/$30b despite earning more from Crude Oil sales than all previous presidents combined between 2010 and 2015, with crude oil selling at over $100+pb for 4years out of his wasteful 5years. That situation above is what you call progress that included the Jonathan regime? So why didn't your master Jonathan restructure despite your wailings then? So our democracy is only 19yrs so we need to wait till 200yrs to get to where US is now, such that by then we would still say our democracy is only 219years old while the USA is 400+years? Must we reinvent the wheel or do we not have a constitution to follow? You are the dream citizen of a useless government. Always ready to launder the excuses made, because you also benefit from a system that is still deliberately "young and learning". You as a leader can never inspire any confidence in the citizenry - little wonder you would love an ineffectual buffoon president to continue in office. And yes I hate Jonathan for the useless person that he is. That same uselessness and cluelessness he used to approach all national matters including the same Fulani herdsmen terror that statistically led to more deaths under his regime than we have had in this current useless regime, made even the Christian parts of middle belt sack the same Christian they had voted into power as president. To think this was the same retar.d I had campaigned for on social media when the Northern cabal working with Turai Yar'Adua had sidelined a vice president who should already be working in active president capacity. However, within 8months of his 1yr inherited presidency, I had seen his many follies and heard the many lies of his regime to know that this was a national disaster about to happen if elected to a full 4years term in 2011. Jonathan did not disappoint me in being weak and corrupt. He disappointed those who voted for a Christian and a Southern minority, but they rectified their earlier mistake and sent him back to his village where an educated dunce can afford to be king without wrecking the country and celebrating corruption as if it was a beloved endangered specie even while campaigning for reelection. Just as Buhari did not disappoint you, he disappointed those who saw him as the last hope of his decayed generation of politicians. He has been weighted and been found to be utterly useless, waiting to be transported in a wheelbarrow back to his village where he can be whatever he chooses to be without constituting a nuisance to the growth of the country. Today, even a useless Buhari has managed to put our foreign reserves back in the 40s of billion USD, to the shame of the clueless moro.n whose cabinet employees convinced that if $20b that ought to accrue did not accrue as alleged, then America must know about it because dollars is their currency. As such no money was missing since the Americans have not declared their currency as having a shortage of $20b, so the president should disregard such allegations. The dunce fell for it and embarrassed himself on national TV. Buhari is a disgrace and I hate him the same way I hate any useless employee who has been afforded the opportunity to make a deep impact but disappointed without remorse, but never you try to whitewash the moro.n who was rightly sacked by those who were disappointed in their decision to vote him into power on sentiments of "I had no shoes". Again I repeat, you are not bothered that corruption is ingrained in our DNA or that the government is unserious about fighting it. Your only grouse is that the party you love and through which you have access to the proceeds of corruption, is no longer in power and you are now angry as you are hungry. You have no positives to contribute to national discourse, just regrets that the corrupt Jonathan was not allowed to continue in power so that public money will continue to flow, while the foreign reserves dry up to zero, and the government continues borrowing money to pay federal civil servant's salary. |
doctokwus:Exactly! |
ashjay001:The dude has no shame. He does not even care that corruption has continued thriving under Buhari. His only grouse is that Jonathan should have remained there so that corruption can thrive without the hypocrisy evident in the Buhari regime. Is it a crime if Buhari could have taken us to the stage where an ex president can be arrested and where corruption at the very corridors of power is not tolerated. Buhari could have but he has refused and has become a failure. But this dude is not even desirous of such a socially and democratically developed Nigeria. He has no positivity when it concerns his own country. All he wants is "let us all be corrupt without restrictions". "And let the political party for which I am a sycophant, be the corrupt government in power so that my hungry stomach can be fed" That is all he stands for, nothing else, nothing positive and selfless. His agony at not having Jonathan remain in power knows no bounds. |
sorry1:Where did I classify any of the people I mentioned in my first paragraph as Igbos? I only gave you a litany of looters who are neither Yoruba or Hausa-Fulani that only came to your mind because of the news report you read. While I stated clearly that the looters who have been ruling Abia state are Igbos. I also hope that when you read about Olisah Metuh's N400m and other hefty sums of money he is being charged of laundering, you were quick to post that Igbos have been the ones looting Nigeria dry? Or did an Igbo have to be president for Metuh or Anyim to have joined the looting of Nigeria? Or do you want me to direct you to the post of a notable Igbo tribalist who tried to prove that Igbos have had better political power in Nigeria than Yorubas, but only ended up proving that Igbos shouting marginalization are only shedding crocodile tears and by extension had contributed more than Yorubas to the mismanagement of Nigeria? |
sorry1:You have forgotten Olisah Metuh, Tony Anenih, DSP Alamieyeseigha, James Ibori, Anyim Pius Anyim, and Diezani Allison-Madueke are not Yoruba or Hausa-Fulani? Or no be Igbo men dey rule for Abia state since 1999? Okotie Eboh who as a minister was already stealing public funds and also converting government property as his own private holdings even before independence, is neither Yoruba or Hausa-Fulani. Azikiwe who was already fingered in corrupt practices with his own bank as a premier of Eastern region prior to independence, was also not Yoruba nor Fulani. |
LordAdam16:So you believe Christians have a right to be fanatical, while Muslims must be moderate? Or a Christian president who was gun running with the private jet gifted to the CAN president is a good choice in a secular country Again you do not surprise me that you believe it is an impossible task to arrest an ex president when such has been found culpable for corruption while in office. I already said that you do not aspire to anything noble, patriotic or selfless. Your only grouse is that your own camp of thieves are out of power. That is your only grouse. You do not care anything for rule of law or patriotism. Your hunger and insatiable greed can never allow you to be objective about any matter. Jonathan also relied on moro.ns like you in 2011 despite our pleas that his 1yr presidency had shown him unfit to rule Nigeria. Those who were objective realised their folly and sacked the same clueless man they had earlier voted despite our pleas. Now another retar.d is at the helm, and he will also be sacked without any apology given to the previous retar.d that was rightfully sacked, nor will any remorse be shown his sycophants who are now hungry and cannot understand why they must not eat from a Nigeria that must remain corrupt for their own benefit. Can you remind me the presidential debate that Jonathan attended in 2011. Was he scared shitless then, yet you still voted for him, despite knowing he was just an educated dunce? I even recall that sometime in 2008/2009, a notable newspaper had an article where it reported that some Bayelsan women went to visit the family of vice president Jonathan in Aso Rock. Upon enquiring from the educated illiterate wife where her husband was and how life in the presidency was faring, Patience Jonathan lamented that her husband was busy reading newspaper as that was the job the power hungry Turai Yar'Adua had assigned to Jonathan. Even Turai saw that the PhD wielding Jonathan was an educated dunce that had to be brought up to speed on national and global affairs that required an intelligent mind. Jonathan's wife eventually dwarfed Turai in being hungry for power when her own husband became president. You are a disgrace to every sane mind that believes the world can always be better than what they inherited. Your mental shackles can never be broken. |
LordAdam16:When did being an islamist become a problem, when some are fanatical Christians? Both belong to the same extremist breed that a sane world does not need. Again I repeat, hungry choir boys like you do not fool me. It is your destiny to sing the chorus of your principal who has saved you from hunger having been allowed to plunder the national purse. You have never ever in your posts advocated for anything patriotic and selfless. All you care about is your hungry stomach that must be filled by the political camp you belong and which you hope will always have access to the national purse. Now you have no access, and you have to cry yourself to sleep. You are a pathetic sycophant. We that sacked a useless a Jonathan, will also sack a useless Buhari. But this time, both will go to jail. |
LordAdam16:When will Jonathan appear in court to testify for Metuh that he indeed got Metuh's bank account details, only for Metuh to get credited by the ONSA which was never privy to the account details of Metuh? You are a rotten and hungry cretin who does not fool me. The day we are rid of hungry vultures like you, Nigeria will be better for it. You are no different to the "Sai Barbarians" who can see that a moro.n is in power, yet they are determined to re-elect him. If Buhari is voted out and another moro.n unravels himself after assuming the presidency, does that make those who insisted that Buhari deserves a 2nd term right while those who sacked him are wrong? That is situation with hungry partisan supporters like you who never know when to objectively desert a useless leader. |
LordAdam16:You have never shown your self to aspire to any lofty or noble ideals. All you cry about everyday of your miserable life is that a shamelessly corrupt Jonathan was not allowed to continue. Why are you so miserable that you did not have a 2nd term to benefit from the corruption of Jonathan? And who told you we needed his apology as the grand patron of corruption, when we knew we could sack him as we bloody hell did? Did his campaign for re-election that was hinged on projecting himself as a lover of corruption, stop a corruption riddled Nigeria from sacking him? The patriotic people that sacked Jonathan whose cluelessness made the very regions that had voted him in 2011 to rather vote Buhari in 2015, are also determined to sack Buhari who has also shown that he is as useless as the corrupt Jonathan Cry like a baby from now till forever, Jonathan remains a useless human being who was sacked and who a useless Buhari refused to prosecute. Jonathan will never come back to office, please try and deal with your misery. That Buhari has failed is because he has become willing to compromise when people like Jonathan should be languishing in jail. |
LordAdam16:I also didn't sleep well during Jonathan's era knowing that killings were going on in the far North and middle belt. Yet I also warned people not to vote a clueless Jonathan in 2011. When the same people I warned learnt their lesson, they sacked him and returned him to his village. The sane people who voted for Buhari and have now learnt their lesson, are also determined to sack him and return him to his village. No useless human being will be afforded a 2nd term. Jonathan learnt that, Buhari will also learn soon. |
LordAdam16:He did something ooo. He tried his best to ensure the foreign reserves was reduced to zero, despite earning 51% of all our oil earnings up till 2016, during his own tenure of 5yrs. He also rehabilitated DSP Alamieyeseigha from a corruption convict to join an already dishonourable senate. His civil servant wife is still fighting over ownership of tens of millions of dollars that should be her retirement benefit from civil service? Olisah Metuh is still suffering for the billionaire status Jonathan almost made him. Kindly answer the below puzzle. If Olisah Metuh and Tony Anenih both insist they gave their account details to Jonathan, how did the NSA get this account details to pay public funds into those accounts? Is the ONSA the personal bank of Jonathan? When will your hero of democracy go and provide his input having been subpoenaed upon the request of Olisah Metuh who is dying slowly. Or is your hero of democracy scared of an institution of a democratic society? Continue to wallow in your regret that you are not on the current train of looters. You wanted to loot for 9yrs, but still not satisfied you had up to 5yrs of looting to keep your corrupt stomach from crying out of hunger. |
Ngokafor:What about for reasons that the previous slowpoke that was president also didn't do anything about Fulani herdsmen terrorizing the middle belt? What about for reasons that the previous ineffectual buffoon was a great advocate of corruption even while campaigning for reelection? The same middle-belt and South West that sacked one slowpoke, are ever ready to sack the current slowpoke. |
Try to behave righteous in Nigeria, and watch how even the sons of God will despise you for that. This students travails only confirm that Nigerians are fantastically corrupt, despite how much they deny such factual accusations. |
deomelllo:So in essence, Zik contributed to making his tribe a clan of refugees who must forsake the wretched homeland for greener pastures in the midst of those they hate, but who they hope will tolerate them. |
nwabobo:And that is the greatest accomplishment of an Igbo man? And that makes every Igbo in Yoruba land a wealthy landlord and every Yoruba a wretch who has a ramshackle to let out? I didn't know you looked at Yorubas with such great admiration, that you feel fulfilled that they are the ones that pay rent so your family can feed. |
nwabobo:It is the story Igbos tell their kids at night so that they can all sleep better. Do you know that Awolowo was a GCFR while neither Azikiwe nor Ojukwu was? Do you know that the very punitive measures carried out as response to Biafra's illegal cessation from Nigeria, are the same measure earlier articulated by Azikiwe in his response to Northern Region's threat to pull out of Nigeria during the independence debates? |

Igbo strangers full Ajegunle. Try out Mba street for AJ city. Continue to console yourself, while your brother Kettykin is paying N1.5m annually to Yoruba landlord. The same Kettykin who had devoted his time on Nairaland to campaigning for Igbos to return home and divest from Yoruba land. He claimed they were the soul of Banking, ICT, Real Estate, bla bla bla. That Yorubas will suffer economically if Igbos take out their investment and return home. What the foolish joker didn't say then was that he was equally living in Lagos and making a living there. Not until his pride was bitterly hurt by the thread that displayed how Yorubas controlled the real estate business in the SouthWest, before the dolt also lamented that his lazy Yoruba landlord was charging him N1.5m for an apartment that wasn't up to scratch. So continue deceiving yourselves. |
nwabobo:Either of UCL or LSE. At that time, it wasn't so relevant to specify which college as it is now. All that mattered then was that you graduated from UoL. |
nwabobo:It depends on what college you are enquiring about. Is it the founding colleges of UCL or KCL? Is it LSE or LBS, or the former component Imperial College? Or are you doubting the widely known fact that Awolowo read law as a resident student in London at the prestigious University of London and was called to the English bar before he returned to Nigeria? Was that feat even rare in the Yoruba land of Awolowo's time? When you are done celebrating admission of Igbos into a negro university in the mid 1900's, let me know so I can educate you on what type of prestigious schools 2 to 3 generations of Yorubas residing in Yorubaland had already attended before even Azikiwe got a Negro education he bequeathed to his protégés. |
deomelllo:Brotherly, the matter tire me ooo. The same person gloating in one breath is the same person lamenting marginalization and being held down by other tribes in another breath. |
Lordspicy:Please tell me who is still lamenting till today? While some set a standard for Africa, some only learnt how to copy and catch up with their senior. |
nwabobo:To study commerce by distance learning which enabled him to effectively serve as finance minister many years later. However, you conveniently forgot he later found his way to the prestigious university of London, a world renowned university, to study law. From which he would better understand politics and effectively govern as the first premier of the Western region. Many years later, Azikiwe was still sending Igbo kids to a Negro university that has remained irrelevant till today. |
Ok |
nwabobo:The Igbo men were celebrating an achievement of attending a black university that was irrelevant then and has continued to be an irrelevant university till today. Meanwhile at that same time, even Yoruba women were already attending world renowned universities in the UK, talkless of the Yoruba men who had been attending world class universities and contributing to the growth of Yoruba land before the 1900's. Those Universities ranging from Cambridge to Oxford, to London, to Edinburgh, are still world renowned till today and rank way higher than some Negro university that was and remains unspoken. Even Femi Fani Kayode's grandfather was already educated as a lawyer at Cambridge long before Azikiwe found himself wandering through a Negro school in the USA. At the time Yoruba's were studying in notable schools in the 1870's, the Igbos did not even know how to read and write. By the time Yoruba's already had 2nd generation doctors and doctorate engineers before 1900, the Igbos had only started wearing the socks of the British on their heads. By the time the Yoruba's were already clamouring for a University in Yorubaland, the Igbos had only began coming to Lagos to work as houseboys for the British colonial officers. if Azikiwe wanted to assist his fellow Igbos to attain foreign university education, why not put them on a higher pedestal than the unknown university he attended? Then he even had to gloat about such mediocre achievement in his own newspaper? Like I will always say, I still blame Ajayi Crowther for teaching Igbo bushmen how to letter their own language. Else, we would have not had any catching up that has always occupied the Igbo mind. A catching up that China Achebe was also ecstatic about. CC: melzabull |
Wristler:GEJ at the long run after over 12months had passed since she was investigated by the HOR, he cut Oduah down into a PDP senate ticket that led her straight to the Senate Chambers instead of a criminal prosecution. What a rewarding way to be cut down for corruption? He then cut up a corruption convict and former political mentor called DSP Alams, and ensured he got a senate ticket of the PDP in Bayelsa. If we want to talk about those who were bold to sack their own cabinet employees and senior government officers, we will first mention Obasanjo, whisper Yar'Adua, then hiss Jonathan and Buhari. |
Jesuuuu! It will never be well with the Jonathan regime. |
maasoap:He arrogantly demanded to be taken to court. That he rightfully earned money from Jonathan for a publicity project he did for Jonathan and for which he gave his bank account details to Jonathan, but he did not reject or protest when his account was credited by the ONSA. Upon reaching court he began all manner of evasive tactics like "the judge was my law school classmate", " I need medical care abroad", etc. When he eventually realised he was alone in deepshit, the arrogant Metuh started begging to be allowed to return the corruption money he got from the ONSA. A priviledge that had already been taken off the table. Now despite employing the power of the courts to get Jonathan to testify as a witness, Jonathan has abandoned him as no one is ready to admit that they willfully facilitated a corrupt transfer of public funds meant to fight terrorism, into the account of a publicist who had done a private job for candidate Jonathan. Charly68, it is too late to beg to return money you had been begged for long to return. Metuh stood his ground and requested for the court, now he his courting justice. |
