What happened to FFK's trial when he joined PDP form APC, to serve in President Jonathan's reelection campaign?

Or has FFK forgotten so soon how the Jonathan government compelled the prosecution to drop about 17 charges and retained only 1charge to act as a control leash on the neck of an unpredictable dog?

However, Buhari has no integrity and he is as useless as Jonathan.
Politics › Re: IGP Makes Case For Herdsmen, Tells Govs To Establish Ranches Before Talks Of Arr by Throwback: 11:53am On Mar 01, 2018
It seems the North of Nigeria has become too used to state government shouldering the responsibility for every social, economic, and religious endeavour.

From state sponsored mass weddings, to pilgrimages to Mecca, to poverty alleviation programmes tools procurement.

Now it has resulted in the warped belief that even states must set up ranches for the benefit of private business entrepreneurs.

Who ever set up a poultry or piggery or fishery for the other animal agriculturists?

This uninformed IGP and the airport police commissioner need to be shown the exit door from a job they do not understand.

But the topic was about presidential motorcade.
But the comment I quoted was about presidential assassinations and by disclosing that there were 3 attacks, it already encompassed all types of attacks as there was ever only 1 motorcade attack being the Kennedy attack.

So my comment was to correct the wrong information that out of 3 attacks there was 2 hits and 1 death, when indeed there were 3hits of Lincoln, Kennedy and Reagan, but 2 deaths of Lincoln and Kennedy.

And as you would have observed, the OP of the erroneous statistics also understood under what situation of assassination I corrected him.

Was any other president shot while using his motorcade like JFK?

Politics › Re: The Betrayed And The Betrayer: Case Of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe And Obafemi Awolowo by Throwback:
How can a Westerner betray an Easterner over the premiership of the Western Region, especially when both belonged to different political parties both competing for the same position?

I repeat, some tribe of people exited the womb already feeling marginalized and entitled to a delusional loyalty that was never promised.

And as a correction, Azikiwe did not wait to contribute his quota as leader of opposition in the Western Region, rather he hurried back to the East and managed to replace an Eastern lawmaker, and from there usurped the Premiership of Eyo Ita to be become leader of the Eastern government.

To lead was more important to Azikiwe than to just be a member of parliament either in the West or East.

(b) it was precisely in this moment that the British helped to circulate the ideas of an unwholesome Nigeria with its regionalist character rather than a nationalist Nigeria with a common mission. Political statements from the likes of Awolowo and Bello helped to solidify this idea of a Nigeria of "differences" who must relate to each other on those differences, while Azikiwe was writing and shouting against the British ploy, with their local agents to "Pakistanize" Nigeria - in reference to what had happened in that period with India's partition with which the British had threatened the nationalists,
To all those who hate that they share the same country with Fulani or Yoruba or Igbo or Ijaw or Tiv or Christian or Muslim, you can pile up your blames on the grave of Azikiwe who was too consumed by his desire to rule a Nigeria that was inseparable. A "pakistanization" of our own India, would have saved us the eventual war and anarchy that has become recurrent.

The obvious divide that others saw became invisible to a man who was overtly ambitious to be sensible. He even outlined punitive measures should the North attempt to separate from a country that has ensured such separation would be illegal. These same punitive measures of economic blockade and emasculation, were eventually borrowed to deal with Azikiwe's own region when it tried to commit an act that Azikiwe himself had ensured was illegal.

Kemen is not Yoruba. The taxify driver being accused of sexual assault is Igbo, yet we all defended him. In both cases, the supposed victims were beautiful Yoruba women.

While you are fighting over Igbo women all in a bid to ensure you have willing females to dominate, the rest of the civilised world would be marching towards a world where women are equal to men.

You are in the village, yet you suffer the same delusions that the Igbo stranger in Lagos is living in affluence while the Yoruba landlord is in the ghetto.

Go to the streets and inspect the heads.

We have structured our society such that you will remain our refugees as long as you choose to abandon your villages for our town. You must abide by our culture and traditions. You remain a visitor. You are yet to get to the level of societies that welcome refugees to come work for the benefit of the citizens.

You are our refugees, so you are working for us the citizens of Lagos, as every other Nigerian is.

If the Igbos will not work for us, they will go hungry, while another works for us. We are the master, anyone can be the slave and serve his time and move on, while the master remains.

Same way the South Africans that other Africans residing as refugees in their country always lament are lazy, will forever remain the master while Nigerians, Zimbabweans, Zambians etc can take turn to serve as slaves.

Nobody beg you to come. Na hunger for better life carry you comot from your village. You are a beggar without a choice except the compulsion to survive.

U harbour who?

U must be mad?

U on the other hand base your survival on the Igbos.

One wonders wat Lagos will look like without Igbos?

No wonder Awolowo was desperate to sacrifice the whole yoruba tribe rather than have the Igbo live in the East.

Awolowo went out of his way to bring Igbos back to abandoned Lagos.

Dont forget that part of history.

Today, the same Igbos want out of Nigeria and yet you oppose.

U are not harbouring anybody, u are dependent on them. parasite!
Did your Igbo refugees come to Lagos with money from Nnewi or did they also take money from Ozobulu to South Africa, or the reverse was the case?

It is like saying Americans depend on the Mexicans for survival because they allow them be refugees there.

I am happy you have finally admitted that Awolowo went out of his way to cater for Igbos in the aftermath of the war. Truth can never be hidden for long. Awolowo ensured the East Central State got all the federal allocation due to it that accrued during the 30months war. He also ensured that the banks in the East were funded to allow for loans so that Igbo businesses could be revived. Yet the eternal ingrates never showed any appreciation to their benefactor.
How would the Igbos have survived if there was no humane Awolowo in Gowon's cabinet?

One wonders how Igbos would have survived without rehabilitation in the SouthWest were they made their money having arrived with nylon bags strapped to their bodies.

If I also recall well, no one ever prevented refugees from returning to their deserted homeland. How can I be a parasite on my own land in my own region?

If there were no Igbos in Lagos, Lagos would have remained a sane and serene city without the chaos the Igbos have been plagued with. It would have remained an enviable city that it was before it welcomed the first set of Igbo houseboys who came to work for the British colonial officers who were already apprehensive of losing their colonial jobs to better educated Yoruba bourgeoisie.

Such a patriotic task will keep you busy and happy, seeing that you are terribly obsessed with your masochism, chauvinism, sexism, and tribalism.

To think that an Igbo girl will have to deal with this freak and immature mind as a husband? What a tragedy!

Here comes another one.
JUst because Yoruba men have been allowed to marry a tiny fraction of Igbo women in LAGOS, you start making grandiose statements.

IF you were smart, you would have realized that children tends more to the mother side than their fathers.
THere are lots of Igbo men married to Yoruba women in Lagos, but that is nothing to be proud of.

BTW, who is more chauvinistic- is it the average Igbo man that takes care of his only wife or the average Yoruba man that starts philandering after he makes his first million?.
Are you one of the unfortunate and hopeless fellows who want to determine what tribe a man or woman falls in love with?

Is it your marriage? What makes a butterfly think itself a bird to poke-nose in the private affairs of 2 consenting adults? E be like say husband and wife never join hand slap better sense into your masochist and bigoted head.

And what is grandiose about the private love affair of 2 adults that makes you feel elated for your tribe?

And for the lots of Igbo men married to Yoruba women as you claim, why don't you feed them your advice on matrilineal fraternity? Also why didn't your objections and rantings in your tiny and insignificant shell stop the desires of your brothers?

I repeat, blessed is any woman who has managed to remove herself and her daughters from the dictates of a masculine worshiping tribe that considers women as inferior and unworthy. Many of the unlucky women are still fighting in the courts to get reprieve from the cultural trauma unleashed in the wake of the loss of a father or a husband. Meanwhile, Igbo daughters are watching to avoid same, while Yoruba wives have already mastered how to use the law to discard any obnoxious culture from nosy and opinionated umunna like you.

I suppose the Igbo tribe is traditionally monogamous? How many of the Igbo prostitutes that populate the nook and cranny of Nigeria have you helped to rehabilitate for eventual marriage to the deserving Igbo men?

As for my Yoruba brothers who are doing the noble deed of freeing Igbo women and daughters from an obnoxious culture that would have damned them, I salute your sense of morality, responsibility and love. As for those who are born to a Yoruba + Igbo couple, we Yorubas embrace you as ours without any toga of inferiority.

Let the clansmen of the East dey do their Nzobu Nzobu they go.
