In Nigeria, We have Boko Haram, ISWAP, Fulani herdsmen and other numerous armed groups all terrorizing us from north to south east, north central and Niger delta region, such a country cannot make progress

I noticed you surreptitiously omitted the South West like they are immune to the scourge ravaging the land. Who do you think murdered over 40 Christians during a Church service in Ondo state!

Hmmm…This will only do more damage to the Erisco food brand.

Naturally, people will always side with the underdog and more so as this is perceived as bullying and unwarranted intimidation towards the lady, no body will go near that man’s product anytime soon.

Bytheway, what exactly does the man expect to get from the court? I think the man took the wrong advice.

So you think an Igbo man who rose from the ashes of the Biafran war to build a multi billion naira manufacturing business in a country where businesses struggle to break even is not an underdog. If you don’t, think again

If only DNA was as cheap as 5k, many men would have been left childless/childrenless.

Every man should as a matter of urgency start saving up for a minimum of 2 DNA tests ( 2 kids ) before starting a family. As you are saving up for wedding also open a savings account for a mandatory DNA test for your kids. It is criminal to raise another man’s child thinking it’s yours.

LagosG:

The world is currently programmed for women to depend less on men and for women to seek more independence. If you could really time travel, you'd see that the virtuous woman is a thing of the past. It is lost with the trends of time. An alpha male isn't building himself to be a man every woman wants. He's simply building himself to be a better man than his forebears. Women drooling is just a byproduct of that.

There’s a study that just came out on this topic about women being independent of men especially in the west. Well guess what, a large number of women who made this decision in their 20s and 30s are turning up depressed, unhappy and unfulfilled in their 40s and 50s because at that age they begin to feel the pressure of the void not having a man or family creates. Women by design were made to look more attractive in their youth so they can attract the best man but these modern day women waste their youth fvcking around until the finite amount of time their beauty has runs out. Then they start looking for simps to settle for after being used up.
In the west they have devised coping mechanisms by owning dogs and cats to fill that void but even that can only go so far.

LagosG:

Unless we just want to deceive ourselves, women don't value their Vijay anymore. It's just an avenue for cash generation. It takes an alpha to return a woman with this mindset into a submissive woman. Most men cannot accomplish this in their lifetime

So what does the alpha male get in reward for all the years of hard work building himself into a man every woman wants? Why should men reward promiscuous women who sexually abuse their body and even birth a child with the highest honor which is marriage? When there are millions of single, young women out there without a child.
Until men rise up to reject bad behavior in women, women will never understand the value men overwhelmingly place in chastity. Promiscuity in women is spreading like wild fire, it is up to men to put it out else our daughters and grand daughters will follow suit.

State police is just a monster waiting to feed on whatever is left of the dead country called Nigeria. Regional police should be the way to go, that way the police architecture will have proper funding and less vulnerability to be hijacked by one Demi god called Governor. The regional police should also have federal oversight, something like the FBI to check the excesses in the abuse of power.

Nigerians are the most patriotic people you would ever meet. Nigerians love this country to the last drop of their blood.

Just look at the social media space, see how Nigerians are supporting and helping fellow Nigerians regardless of tribes and tongues. Any foreigner that drag a Nigerian on any media platforms will definitely have the whole Nigeria to content with.

We all saw how Nigerians dragged Guinness world record organizers when they delayed to announce Hilda Bacci as the newest cook-atho record holder.

We all saw how well meaning Nigerians rally round to to lift mumzee financially within 48 hours.

We all saw how same Nigerians donated massively to davido when he posted his account number online fews years back.

The lists is endless, this is just to mention but a fews

Omo politicians messed us all up! It will go down in history that the greatest country of black race was not destroyed by earthquake, nuclear disaster or any natural disaster but her leaders.

May the souls of the departed who died supporting Nigeria either militarily, politically and through sports rest in perfect peace!

The highest form of patriotism is dying for your country. Now I ask you, how many Nigerians are willing to die for Nigeria? Exactly

They starved children to death and used their blood as an adhesive to keep Nigeria one, at all cost is what that implies. Today that one Nigeria is killing them in their hundreds. Talk about karma and you won’t be far from the truth.

Why can't women be polygamous since men are polygamous in nature?.

I always laugh whenever I see complains like this, for fuvk sake men also engage in sexual explore with other ladies, but will get pissed off if the same card is been played on them.

Your brain is stuffed with cow dung. Are men and women equal? Who gives access to sex, men or women? A woman who gives it up easily is cheap and not respected while a man who gets it easily is the envy of most men.
You want women to be polygamous like men but only want men to be responsible for security and providing for the family.
I repeat your brain is stuffed with cow dung.

Family / Re: I Returned To Nigeria Homeless After 30 Years In UK, US – Ondo Man by Timetravel88: 7:36pm On Dec 16, 2023
IbeOkehie:

Lots and lots of Nigerians returned to Nigeria with their families in the 1970's from USA, UK and I even know a couple of families that returned from the old Soviet Union.

What do you think was the predominant outcome for most of those families? Just so we don't go by what I say, you can consult the commentary of the late Prof Pius Adesanmi who died in the Ethiopian Airline crash. His father was one of such returnees.

Good Luck to Nigerians

This is why I said “in today’s western society”

The way the west is structured today isn’t the same as the 70s. Raising a family is getting harder every year and for those who do they can’t afford to save for a return ticket back home. Why do you think the birth rate in these countries are plummeting? They now resort to immigration to cushion the effect.

Dumbest thing I've ever heard.

80% of people wey dey Japa will be trapped in the system they are japaing to from debt. Even citizens of those countries are trapped in it too. This man's story get as e be so I won't comment directly on it.

Japa for many Nigerians in today's western society is self exile and multi generational transfer. Most of them will never come back again let alone their children.
The socio-economic model is designed in such a way that humans becomes fuel to keep the economy running. It's a vicious cycle of a complex symbiotic relationship, once you are plugged in it takes only a few months to realize that you are trapped. It gets worse if you have no exit strategy.

Travel / Re: Why Women Leave Their Husbands Abroad After They Both Japa by Timetravel88: 5:10pm On Dec 13, 2023
Sanchez01:

Lol! Stop with the assumptions. I’m married and living in the US. Our traditional mindset on marriages as Africans and Nigerians are pretty outdated. I know a couple currently having issues in their marriage because this bush guy married the wife early before they both came down here and still want to impose his bush behavior on her. She’s presently studying for nursing and already rebelling against her husband. Except the woman is a terrible person naturally, most cases of divorce concerning Nigerians in diaspora are mostly as a result of the men’s mindset.

As far as marriage is concerned, in Nigeria or in diaspora, no woman will take her modern, supportive husband for granted, except it’s village people. I know there are some demonic women who just want to destroy all their husband worked and labored for but you can’t possibly tell me every Nigerian woman who push for divorce is bad.

Ednut is the only person on point on this thread, at least, based on what I read on the first page. This thread is nothing but half truth and not the flex you all think it is.

If you have a traditional mindset as a man and you’re stuck in your ways, with no room to adapt, by all means DO NOT JAPA WITH YOUR WIFE. If you do, she’ll dump you like a bag of hot potatoes.

I guess you are one of those men who thinks they are safe from the sinister machinations of women who are under the influence that they can do without the man.
There are innumerable tales of men like you and how they ended up eating back their words. Women are emotionally malleable and are good baits for the propaganda machine. They spare no one once the switch flips in their head.

There is one major characteristic of those men. They used money to entice the woman in Nigeria. You are a 29 years old man doing well, na 19 years old babe you go date or marry. Sponsor her through school, pay her parents rent and siblings bills. Now the bad part- emotionally and physical abuse, her opinions don’t matter, during NYSC you quickly marry and give her belle and prevent her getting a career. you know she cant leave because she is dependent on you.

But when you reach abroad, she can enter lucrative fields like nursing and tech. Starts earning good money and contributing to the bills. With her workload, child care . Many Nigerian men refuse to adjust to the realities and demand she cooks, does all the chores like in Nigeria. You still carry cheating come abroad. With time she begins to see there is no need for you and sends you packing. Many times its payback for patriarchy in Nigeria. Marriages where the man was a good man in Nigeria mostly still waxing strong abroad.

I can tell you are the king of Simps by the tone of your comment. Have you wondered why over 70% of western black women are either single mothers or baby mamas? They can’t retain a man after the man has attained them, as their mind wanders over the thought of leaving him because they believe they can do better out there.
This has nothing to do with Nigerian men (although some are wimps and simps too and contribute to the exacerbation of the situation). There is an indoctrination machine in western societies designed to continuously emasculate the man by giving more authority to the woman. The end goal here is the destruction of the family unit which is the building block of any modern day society, once this is achieved, total control of the population will be next because a weak man can’t fight back and a woman is an easier tool for domination because she’s now married to the government and is subservient to who pays her bills, she’ll so happily abide to the bidding.
Any Nigerian family that moves abroad with their guards down will be infected by this too.

Business / Re: GSK Quits Kenya 4 Months After Nigeria Exit by Timetravel88: 2:17am On Dec 13, 2023
INTEGRITYA1:
Its exit follows disappointing sales for many regional multinational pharmaceutical companies in the face of competition from cheaper generics from India and locally manufactured medicines

This is also caused by the dip in the purchasing power of Nigerian consumers. The less money they have in their pockets the more patronage Indian and Pakistan drugs get. Although their quality might be slightly off when compared to the likes of GSK, the affordability will get Nigerians buying.
This in return means bad business for GSK who have investments on ground running into billions. Makes it harder for them to compete with India or Pakistan who are already applying the distribution model GSK is about to commence.
