Congratulations @tinuowo. I wanted to ask a question. My husband put in an application on the 17th of November, 2023. You mentioned that you sent a web form. Was it to inquire or ask for a fast track of the application? I am asking because since we made the application, it has just been biometrics passed and background information in progress. Any advice?

Yes I wrote an emotional note that I left my children most especially my baby( left him @9months) to come study in Canada….that I have left them for too long and I am missing them…I also attached my result up to 3semesters that I have done and my complete school fees receipt to show them that see oo I have completed my school fees… cos d reasons for there previous denials were insufficient Proof of fund.

My advice, send them a webform, if you r in Canada target 12-1am to send the webform. Just write a note according to your situation and attach a document to show your progress in your study (just speaking from my lil experience)
Even before the webform, I have called them severally but I realized those guys are just customer service agents there is nothing they can do from there end.. they will even tell me to send a webform.
Above everything pray 🙏 your husband PPR will come through by God’s grace🙏

PPR dropped yesterday for my family after using two different agents because I didn’t have time and it led to denials.
I had to sit myself to do the application myself with the help of God and you all…🙏 am just rounding up a 2yrs program, my final level.
Date applied: November 14th 2023
PPR: January 16th 2024
Sent webform on the 14th of January at 12am Canadian time cos I know it will be around 7am-8am in Nairobi.
PS: please dont use agent for your family application there is nothing like sitting yourself to do it. You will knlw the right documents and pictures to attach.

Please what is the process submitting passport at VFS. Should we book or take the passports to the UPS at the front of VFS center?

I applied for my immediate family after I got my study permit but the application was declined. In this application my spouse opened his own GICkey account and applied for SOWP then added the children under his application. I have applied for CBSA yet to get it.

My question now is if I want to re-apply for them can I do the application under my already approved application i mean under my own GICkey account?
Or continue with spouse’s GICkey account?

Yes my school, Conestoga college is doing online for this first semester. We are required to be in school before Second Semester begins.

He might be right but I totally disagree with NBCC and NSCC Nigerians get study permit with these institutions I don't really have much experience with the other schools mentioned but I'm sure if NBCC and NSCC. As long as you put up a tight application you're good to go

He said because the ‘red flag schools are in remote areas.. I thought Canada is even encouraging people to settle in remote areas?

I put all these documents together for him
He is self employed and 46yrs old going for a Diploma program at NBCC.
NOTE: God did it for him.

I am also expecting my own PPR

I personally do not go by this subscription,your school doesn't have anything to do with your study permit application as long as the school is a dli approved by IRCC,I have seen many applicants gotten study permit with NBCC, NSCC and the likes, the most important is putting up a very good study permit application.

Now I am confused! I wont lie. What should I do now? Continue with the NBCC? I already showed the person that want to pay for my NBCC app fee that the school is a no no with getting study permit..

I made a research about the school(NBCC) if they are under DLI and if I can apply for work permit after my studies and it was positive.. So I felt so devastated when I saw @frankrobbn’s quote that the school is not a good one for IRCC.

There are some certain schools in Canada that you will struggle to obtain a Canadian study visa if you use their acceptance letter for your visa application. This is most often caused by several factors which include:

A. If the school is located in a remote area in Canada.
B. The cost of the program in the school.

I'll point out a few schools I know that international students specifically from Nigeria struggle to obtain visas to study in Canada;

I was about to pay for NBCC app fee and already got WAEC scratch card of 2500naira today for NBCC� What can I do to continue with Cambrian?

I just looked up CIMT on the Designated Learning Institutions(DLI) list on the Canadian immigration website. This school is not eligible for a Post Graduate Work Permit, which means that any international student who goes there would be ineligible for a Post Graduate Work Permit after their studies and would have to return back to their country. And he is 1 intelligent guy dat i knw but he told me that the man,VO was just bouncing people and that when he was his turn the man just asked him his name and age that was all. He replied him that he is 25. And he typed for like 5mins and said am sorry blah blah. So my friend now asked excuse me sir what is the reason of my denial,you asked me two questions and that was all. He didn't ans him. I pray that man will not be on duty on my own day. God will send him on an assignment that himself didn't plan for.

My interview was for 10:30 ( sebi u have noticed this 10:30 trend and success hmmm) I got der by 10:25 they had already called them in I was like 15th to last.

While I was waiting for my name/num to be called I witnessed other f1 visas and all the ones I witnessed were approved. But one particular one left me in shock.

A girl came for f1 visa and she made so many blunders in my mind I was saying they have already denied her, her english wasn't so good( who am I to judge abi) she didn't write any test and wen d vo asked her how much does ur sponspr make ( which was her mum) she said she doesn't know that her mum doesn't tell her, me I was like huh? Then she now said she has her statement, the vo said u have her statement but u dnt know how much she makes? She said her mums sells trinkets n accessories, the vo typed for like 5mins and approved her visa!! I was in shock , na juju the girl use ni? If u see the way she was saying thank u she nearly knelt down.lol

Now to me all the vos were female today except the chinese man who was switching btw vo n thumb print. Didn't want him to call me cos e dey deny everyone.

The miracle started from the fact that I went with the same statements I went with the last time I was denied, no change @ all no cover letter from d bank, no letter of support just ordinary stamped bank statement( no take this risk if u dnt have the faith to carry it)

Bro, let me assist you, follow this procedures on filling another DS 160 form; I guess you won't be having much problem anymore after following this steps;


Filling another DS160 has nothing to do with your booked appointment date. Go to DS160 webpage
https://ceac.state.gov/GENNIV.

Select your location, then on the lower right corner of your screen, click on "retrieve an application"(if you opt for "retrieve an application", you won't have to start filling-in your information from scratch on the DS160 i.e. Some of your information on your previous DS160 will be carried-over to the new
DS160).

You'll be required to enter your old
application id which is also same as your
confirmation number, some security questions would also be asked. After answering the security question and clicking on "retrieve application",
you'll have an option to "view confirmation page" OR "create a new application".

Select "create a new application" and click "continue" so you can
carry on from there...Note that another DS160 confirmation number will be generated.

Go to the appointment booking site: http://

appointmentschedule.asp log into your profile, on the left pane on your screen click on "update
