Sunday Sunsports asked Rotimi about his reaction when Emmanuel Adebayor refused to blink while insisting that Rotimi is unwilling to change his attitude. Rotimi, who claimed to have been psychologically affected by the rancour said he only want his brother to forget the past.“I am very ill now and I need money to treat myself. I also need cash to pay for my house rent, which is already due for payment. I asked him to assist me but he refused. I hope my plea would not be for nothing” |

Beachqueen59: I recently moved from anambara to Enugu, so i dont really know any place. I need places where i can hang out, cuz i really hate staying indoors. There's Polo Shopping Mall where you'll find Shoprite, Game, eateries like Kilimanjaro, KFC, an Ice cream shop (forgotten the name), etc. There's also a cinema upstairs. My favourite spot though is Bush House on Nza street, Independence Layout. They make the best foil-wrapped grilled fish with the best filling in the world . You also have the choice of peppersoup if it's your thing. Prices are from N2k to N5k and above, with chilled drinks of any kind. There are other hangout spots along the street e.g Club 10. Then there is this other spot where I go to buy afor-anu peppersoup at N300 a plate , called EverVee at Obiagu roundabout. It's a student-predominant area so everything there is cheap and there are lots of spots to hangout. For clubbing (I'm not too familiar), there's Orange Room at Bisallah Road, Independence Layout and so many others also in Indepenence L/out. Can't type much now (using a fone), but there are so many places ro hang out in Enugu and environs. Just remembered anu nchi headquarters at Nike Lake . Enjoy! |

When Igbo people where shouting no to Rochas Nigeria looked upon us like we're some tribalistic fools that have a phobia for APC. Well, it so happens Rochas won in Imo and now the state with the highest allocation in the S.E has continued on its path of decline. Imolites can never say we didn't warn them, and Nigerians that are hoping for a person like Rochas to become president should better shine their eyes; it's not about party, it's about the individual.
On a side note, Rochas has the biggest pot belly of all governors in the SS and SE. How can someone who can't manage himself with discipline manage a whole state. Think carefully about how many great world leaders have had a pot belly before you answer. True! Rochas is just an ugly boil in Imo's scheme of things. |

Kockane: Hello everyone,
Please I need your advise. I'm at wits end as to how to successfully combine my career as a banker, which takes almost all of my time, with pursuit of a master's degree.
I am 27, a graduate of Anatomy, 2.2 from a Federal University, with about 2 years banking experience. I recently got promoted to the level of an Assistant Banking Officer (ABO) in one of the top Banks in the country. Take home pay is about 330k/month so I'm fairly comfortable. I'm still single and ain't looking to marry within the next two-three years so I believe I have time to wrap up my masters degree before taking the big step.
I'm looking to further my education, concurrently with my work, no passion for the sciences anymore, so I'm looking at an MBA. I've heard a lot of talk about online programs but I've come to realise they are either overly expensive or the cheap ones have little or no recognition in the labour market. I've tried the distance learning in one of the universities in the southeast but couldn't keep up due to time constraint, had to drop out cuz I missed a couple of tests and exams. I've also considered the National Open Uni but honestly speaking, I'd rather pursue my dreams at an institution with more pedigree (no offense intended).
Pls, I'd appreciate if there are any MBA programs that are cheap and flexible for working class individuals like myself based in Abuja who have a tight schedule. Thanks everyone. You have no issues. Since you are currently an ABO, I don't see you going back to sciences, abi? There are so many schools offering MBA programs (weekend classes) for working professionals. ESUT Business School is currently receiving applications. They offer MBA in Banking and Finance, Bus Admin, HR and Marketing. I've forgotten their other courses. App form is 20, 000, N180, 000 per semester. The MBA programme runs for 4 semesters. P.S. How did you get to ABO in 2 yrs? Marketing? FBN? Or ZB? |

Ikengawo: meanwhile people are even owing Anambra money. I think that if you ask for a bailout the justified thing would be to resign first. A state like Anambra has low allocation and unbelievably high population so they're serving more people with less money.

I pray that Imo will be free from the grips of Okorocha but it's looking hopeless. We're going to lose another 4 years to using our money as a personal marketing budget. Saddening! I blame PDP in Imo for being a den of foolish and primitive thieves that don't know the game of politics. Look at us standing among yoruba and hausa states begging for money!!! chie! It's a big shame. I ceased viewing Rochas as a nwafor a long time ago. |

Christianity Etc › Re: I Had This Very Fearful Dream! by Tinyemeka(m): 9:41am On Jun 21, 2015 |
yommyphresh: Hello people. I had this dream that got me really terrified when I woke up...
*************************************************************************************************************************
I was in a room upstairs in a house (more like a hotel). From there, I could catch the view of almost everywhere. I looked down from d balcony and I saw 2 of my roomates back in school and also 2 of my female friends back in school. From what I saw, it looked like they were having an affair. (one of the girls is married in real life)
They went inside. So I picked up my phone, called the married one and jokingly said "I can see you ooo" She asked "where?" And she laughed too.
All of a sudden, I started hearing deafening noises like bombings. I looked afar off, there was a big place like a refinery, a bomb went off there again. Before I knew it, everywhere started getting dark. I mean real dark! Buildings looked like they were dissapearing.
Amidst the confusion, I saw something like a group of so many castles descending from heaven (those guys from downstairs too were already upstairs). When I saw the building, I just started pointing to it and shouting "Rapture! Rapture!"
We were all looking in that direction but they didn't see the castles that were descending. They were saying there was no castle descending from anywhere and they said the darkness was as a result of d bombings that happened at d building i said looked like a refinery.
We all went downstairs. Everywhere looked scanty (really scanty- streets looked deserted and we looked like we were the only ones in the whole of that area). From nowhere, some policemen came and they told us to go back inside and that everything was fine.
***********************************************************************************************************************
I opened my eyes at 2:45 a.m and my heart was beating at a very faster pace! The only thing that came to my head was Rapture and the antichrist! I WAS TERRIFIED!
People, I'm not here to bore you with any preaching. This was what I saw and i decided to share.
LET US LIVE OUR LIVES LIKE GOD WILL COME THE NEXT MINUTE! God bless When did you have this dream? Saturday morning? Mine was a bit different. Instead of bombs, it seemed like volcanoes. I was upstairs. I think a balcony. Evening time. Felt a rumbling. Everywhere was shaking including the buildings. So I started running to get out of the building. Stairs and landings were just too many. Everywhere suddenly became dark. There was this palpable sense of doom. I can't quite describe it. But I just felt that something metaphysical, not a natural disaster, was about to happen. The skies became really dark. I saw red around the sun or moon. I've forgotten. When I got to the ground floor, just outside the building, there was this big hole and I saw what looked like a lava glow around the mouth of the hole. I just felt like something was about to come out, because I could hear the sounds. Like a rushing wind or the roar of an oncoming crowd. I ran back upstairs and woke up. I just felt that rapture is soon about to happen. This happened Saturday morning. P.S. I went straight home from work Friday evening so this was not the effect of any hangover. |
