Romance › Alternative To Abortion! by tlops(op): 9:33pm On Oct 18, 2011
A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said:

'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 year old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together.'

So the doctor said: 'Ok and what do you want me to do?'

She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.'

The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: 'I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.'

She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request.

Then he continued: 'You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.'

The lady was horrified and said: 'No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child!'

'I agree', the doctor replied. 'But you seemed to be OK with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution.'

The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point.

He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and one that's still in the womb. The crime is the same!

If you agree, please SHARE.

Together we can help save precious lives!

Love says, 'I sacrifice myself for the good of the other person.' Abortion says, 'I sacrifice the other person for the good of myself.'

Politics › Pilfering In High Places. by tlops(op): 9:21pm On Oct 18, 2011
Cheese has been labelled a "high-risk food" because it is the most stolen food item across the globe, according to a report.

Shoplifting and organised retail crime cost the UK high street an estimated £4.9m during the past 12 months, according to the Centre for Retail Research.

Theft is a growing concern for shop owners and the amount of stolen retail goods increased by 6.2% in the year to July.

Food products are amongst the most targeted products, with cheese topping the list.

The dairy item's loss percentage (3.9%) is more than three times the global average (1.29%).

Neil Matthews, vice-president of Checkpoint Systems, a retail security firm, said: "Compared to the 2010 figures, loss among the high-risk food lines has shot up by more than the global average, evidence that they are increasingly being targeted by shoplifters."

Some 1.86% of clothing sales were lost last year, while mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow increased to 2.37%.

Thieves tended to opt for branded products - shoplifters stole an average of £79 worth of goods each time, according to the Global Retail Theft Barometer 2011.

Emmanuel Hembert, retail analyst at AT Kearney, said: "Retail casualties have been extremely high over the summer and some of the most exposed retailers have already disappeared from the high street.

"For the past six months, they have been affected by bad news - economic slow down, government cuts and now an increase in shoplifting.

"With the bad news piling up, bigger names on the high street may not be able to resist the tide."

It also seemed retailers need to keep an eye on their own staff. The report showed theft by UK employees represents 36.1% of the total loss.

Mr Matthews said: "It's extremely worrying that the actions of some people can end up affecting innocent families financially, which is a cost the majority of people can ill-afford in this tough economic climate."

Swedes are the worst shoplifting offenders in the Nordic region, costing every resident 779 kronor ($117) per year in higher retail prices, a new study
“We have people who use the store like their own refrigerator,” the owner of an Ica grocery store told the TT news agency.

An estimated 6.4 billion kronor worth of goods will be stolen from stores in Sweden this year, according to a study carried out by the Checkpoint Systems security firm.

Among the most popular items Swedes acquired using a five-finger discountare accessories, shaving products, and meat

Cheese, children's clothing, and cosmetics are also popular among Swedish shoplifters.

“We have people who use the store like their own refrigerator and completely overlook the fact that they should pay for things. There are also gangs who steal. They take chocolate cookies and Nescafé for which there is a second-hand market,” Örjan Josefsson, the owner of an Ica grocery store in Stockholm, told TT.

Employee and supplier thefts have decreased compared to last year, which shoplifting now accounts fro half of the goods that disappear of Swedish store shelves without being paid for.

The Swedish Trade Federation (Svensk Handel), an organisation representing the retail and wholesale trade, thinks that the police don't take the thefts seriously enough and that the resale of stolen goods is a major problem.

“We have the organised thefts were people go into stores and empty a whole section of goods. That's a job that someone has ordered and they sell the goods on right away,” Per Geijer, head of security issues with the Federation, told TT.

In Sweden, store thefts amount to 1.40 percent of sales, the highest figure among the Nordic countries.

Geijer had no explanation as to why more retail goods are stolen in Sweden than in Norway, Finland and Denmark, pointing out that Swedish law is adequate.

“But we have a legal system which leaves something to be desired. When stores file police reports about thefts, no one does anything about it,” he said.

Store owner Joseffon has stopped reporting shoplifters to the police.

“We simply take the goods away from them and send them on their way,” he told TT.

You people are so naive. If the tell-tale signs of cocaine pellets were spotted by TWO scans, it means he had cocaine in his tummy and any further wrinkle in the story is just an attempt to cover up the matter.

See an example of a CT scan of a would-be cocaine mule who had swallowed 72 pellets filled with cocaine.
what if he had nothing ingested? and the supposed substances were "amala balls".

Nasa has said it is not aware of any injuries or property damage from a defunct six-ton satellite that has fallen from the sky.

The agency posted on its website that the spacecraft crashed through the atmosphere early on Saturday somewhere over the north Pacific Ocean. An exact location is not known.

Most of the satellite is believed to have burned up on entering Earth's atmosphere.

The Upper Atmospheric Research Satellite (UARS) was Nasa's biggest spacecraft to tumble out of orbit, uncontrolled, in 32 years.

UARS was launched aboard space shuttle Discovery in 1991. Nasa decommissioned the satellite in 2005, after moving it into a lower orbit that cut its life short by two decades.

Pieces of space junk often re-enter the atmosphere but no injuries have ever been reported from such incidents.

Females are in demand
This is so true^

My girlfriend would immediately have 5 options if we broke up. I would have 0.

A week after the breakup she would have 20 options, I would have maybe 5.

Its constantly an uphill battle to show higher value to women,
You better agree. I have always used this analogy when talking to women. If you are an average to hot girl, you could walk into any a bar and approach 100 men and say "Hi, my name is seun, I want to sleep with you, so lets go". And 97% of the men would say "game on!". If a man did that to a woman at a bar? Unless you were a ten or a well known celebrity, your % MAY BE 1-2% or so, and maybe 10-15% for the celebrity. It really is night and day comparing the males and females.
