Please go ahead and create a new one. update your CGI portal with only the new DS 160 confirmation number and print out the updated appointment. You don't need to pay another MRV fee

I have been into IT for the past 8 years and i ventured into Information security about 1 year ago. I would advised for anybody that wants to go into cybersecurity should have basic knowledge in some IT fields such as IT support, System Administrator, Network Administrator etc. In addition to this, The person should get more certifications like comptia security, Cisco security, CEH, CC Microsoft SOC etc. You can build yourself from there. Cybersecurity is very wide. You will need atleast 2 years for you to become big boy and you must be very to invest in certifications and hands on training.

Then I found Dr Veronika which she then set up zoom interview with me and recommended me for the admission

ME I chose MSU cos the research of my potential supervisor Dr veronika perfectly align with my research interest, also I was awarded a GTA that covers my tuition and Living expenses also the department of computer science allows interdisciplinary research with medical sciences department and this will be a huge boost to my research, also MSU is rank R1 which means they've higher research output, this will help me to achieve my long time goal of being a faculty

My second goal is to be a lecturer and nurture the young ones, I've been doing this since(she cut in)

I mean I paid for sevis fee, went for interview but was refused. Someone said it’s possible to give/transfer it to someone else.

you can transfer to another institution but not someone else.

Lagos or Abuja. If it is Lagos, you might not get a prompt response from them

Hello house,,I have a question about sevis. I paid and had a sevis ID which I used for my visa interview few months ago but visa was denied. Now I have gotten admission to a new school for spring 2022 waiting for my i-20 which is definitely coming with a different sevis ID. How do I transfer my sevis payment to the new ID or how do I go about this. Also how am I going to update my CGI portal with new sevis ID.

log on to the sevis website (https://www.fmjfee.com/i901fee/index.html) and click on check i-901 status. use your former sevis id and the previous details such as dob. it will bring your payment status details and on the left hand side you can click on request transfer. you should get your reply from sevis with 48 working hours. Good Luck

Please rewrite your duolingo test. That score is kinda low. most schools do request for 100-120 for duolingo.

I think @ Nig Patriot has explained everything you need to do in details. Log on to the CGI, on the left side of the page. Click on emergency request and make sure you write a convincing reasons why you needed the expedited date, attach your[b] i-20, sevis payment receipt[/b], admission letter etc. Good luck

I think you should select previously refused to be on a safe side. It is already in their record that you have been refused. Don't complicate things for yourself.

Yes. If you have evaluated your transcript via WES, you can request for the evaluated transcript to be sent to them. That will be faster.
