The time, location and manner of your demise is totally outside your control.
Don't let it be your own excuse for not living.
Yeah exactly. Crashed on my 06 R6 in 2010 along Osubi Road in warri and it didn't change a thing. Am still rocking the baby. Some are just too scared to live.
Hoping to get a Honda CB1000R in 2014 then I'd resume my solo long trips wink

pekelepekele: What happened to you saying ?.

I am not Henry but if you are waiting for someone I can just take you to a restaurant where you can just sit and wait for that person? I don't think it's good for a beautiful lady like you to be standing too long by the street . Some people might just mistake you for one of these "call girls"

From there you get to know her and if Henry refuse to show up on time . You can take advantage of the moment and do what you wanna do .

You need lecture. cheesy

Who gets richer?? The Govt of course.......

I would have said they would do meaningful things with the money but with corruption still heavily present in their midst, I doubt that.

They might just refurbish more Airport halls, some people are happy and some angry .......and life goes on.

sad but true.

FlyinNaija: Aviation in Nigeria is a big joke. There is no clear policy and those in charge have no clue on how to move the industry forward.

The Cost of doing business in Nigeria is prohibitive. That is why Nigerians pay some of the highest fares in the world. The ignorant are quick to blame the foreign airlines of racism and exploitation , but the blame lies with ridiculous policies like these. I am amazed by most of the daft comments made on this thread; guess who is going to pay for these fees? The passengers/ public, you dullards!
Nigeria has an aviation industry that is still in the infant stage, what is needed are policies that will boost the industry. How is this policy going to help our struggling airlines?

The "private jets" as the laymen call them are a source of income to the federal government. Majority of these jet are "business jets" owned by corporations and operated under strict budgets. It is not easy to own and operate these jets. Nigeria has the second fastest growing business aviation sector in the world. Instead of the government to encourage development, they consistently introduce new policies that make it harder and more expensive to operate. There has been a remarkable slow down in development in the business jet sector under the current minister. I score her 1/10 with regards to the business aviation sector. She was the laughing stock of the gallery at a recent interaction business aviation event. Majority of her policies are targeted at her political enemies.
Finally someone is making sense
solomon111: Like i said before,if they don't want to pay taxes for the maintainence of airport infrastructure, then they can leave, though i doubt that they want to leave.
Other airlines will take their place in a heart-beat.
They wouldn't leave, the levy would simply translate into increased fares kapish?

Personally, am from South-south and GEJ isn't getting a vote from a "F00L" like me, simple reason being, He's not the change we need.

U-turn branch? Phew!!! dats one hell of a branch. Long windy queues just to deposit cash.
Business / Re: Staff In Nairalander's UBA Account-Issue Sacked! by tnktosin(m): 9:11pm On Sep 16, 2013
I don't pity the dude, the few times I've done transactions in UBA branches, the service is really appalling and it was high time someone spoke up. I wouldn't want anyone losing his/her job but these bankers display some sort of arrogance and impunity. I currently enjoy the service I get from GTBank. I had to move my salary acct from zenith bank domiciled at (XXXX) branch lagos cos of bad service from my acct officer, now I only transfer meager cash to the acct for ATM withdrawals while travelling or outing late nights, my salary acct is now with GTBank.
To make matters worse, over a hundred of my colleagues (for real) with an IOC earning nothing less than 10M per annum abandoned their accts cos of this same acct officer. An adamant friend of mine who decided to retain service of zenith had to open a new acct under a different acct officer in the same branch. Imagine what loss this translates to the bank.
Don't get me wrong, zenith is a great new generation bank but just like any other business, the some bad eggs in the work force can make life hell for customers.
Staffs can ruin your business for you if you don't keep a close eye on them.
Av decided not to mention any names cos you don't know who's viewing ur posts, besides the person in question could have changed for the better. Datsall.
Politics / Re: Ibori Hid Assets In Oando - British Prosecutor by tnktosin(m): 8:00pm On Sep 16, 2013
Uyi Iredia: I heard from someone that Ibori actually spent money on Deltans and was generous with his wealth and that he was simply persecuted for opposing certain key PDP members. How true is this ? Anyone ?
Yes that's true, ask deltans around.
I blame him for 2 things however, imposing Uduaghan as a successor (which I believe he's regretting already, and not acknowledging Jona as the new C in C). However, let the law take its course.
Am entitled to my opinion.
Politics / Re: Ibori Hid Assets In Oando - British Prosecutor by tnktosin(m): 7:20pm On Sep 16, 2013
oseiwe: I almost believed dis story until I saw where it was written dat his 3 daughters attend a small private sch. D daughter I knw is a big girl who attends a university.
Wat concerns UK and d money he stole in delta? Why shld 1 gov outta 36 suffer so much?
He is d best gov delta has had.
IBORI has grown children and a few grand children, but he also has kids too and its no news that his children keep a low profile, meaning the report might actually be correct.
On the case of Ibori's incarceration, he only fell victim cos he's refused to be loyal to the govt in power. I believe all criminals should face the full wrath of the law but its obvious his case more political than sincere fight against corruption.
And yes, he's the best gov delta state ever had, a lot better than Jonathan's tenure in bayelsa.
This is my take, he's paying for his sins as should b d case, it'd only be fair if the other bigger thieves like d oga @ the top suffers similar fate.
