Good morning fams.
Here is my story. Some years back ,during my final year in school, I was dating this pretty lady you'd think we were even married cus she spend almost all her time in my house. We dated for bit three years and things were going fine until she had to travel for a week to her village where her parents lived. On coming back, I noticed that hard attitude towards me changed but each time I asked she'd say she is fine until I got fed up and demanded to know exactly what was going on.
After much persuasion, she opened up telling me that she followed her mum and aunt to a Church program where she was given a prophecy that the guy she is dating (me) is a cultist and is trying to get her into trouble is she doesn't stay away from me.
I was surprised she'd even believe a thing like that cus she's stayed with me for a long time and probably known exactly what I could and couldn't do.
I got really mad not because the pastor said all that shit but cus she even Believed that. And her reason being that I don't go to church. Seriously?

Yes I was angry but u still had to make things clear to her that I wasn't a cultist but it wasn't just working. I hated anything "MY PASTOR SAID". That phrase annoys me badly. It didn't even end there. About two weeks or three later, my caretaker invited his pastor to pray for his compound which was just new and was about to be completed. Everyone was invited including both of us. I refused going cus we were still having the same issues if pastors and she went alone and with everyone in the compound. On coming back, she still got mad at me for not coming and was like " you are not a cultist , why not come with me?" I just kept my chill cus I was very angry but just wouldn't react anyway..

I told her to believe whatever she likes cus is obvious her mind is made up on the issue that I'm a cultist so there is little or nothing I could do to change that. She left.my house and I never called her again. Just last week she called and was apologising to me over what happened and that's been over 2 years now and I've moved on. Even though I'm still single, I don't think I feel anything for her anymore .

Do you think I was wrong?

The society teaches us certain norm, rule and tradition to maintain order and expects us to obey then. Society tells us how we should eat, dress,think and behave in general. Those who obey are praised and rewarded for good behavior.Those who do not are called rebels. Are rebels really terrible people? Are rebels black sheep?

Rebels are individual who refuse to do what others are doing . They are non robot.His life is dictated by his own reasoning. He does not like been told what to do. They question the status quo and deviate from it when necessary. Rebels crave independence. They create their path.Rebels try to be themselves and find freedom in an overly oppressive rule structure.

Some rebels are not interested in the society aggreing with them they have no intention of changing the society.He simply renounces the wrong act in himself and leave society to change when she feels like. Such rebels believe in the saying : LIVE YOUR LIFE THE WAY YOU WANT TO AND LET ME LEAVE MY LIFE MY OWN WAY.

Such rebel change the life for himself and is ready to face whatever trouble it may bring on his way .When the female journalist drove a car fully aware of the law against driving for women, she was an individual rebel. These rebels are willing to face torture,and death to spread their ideology. Many a time,they end up dead before their ideal is realised.They would rather die than withdraw their teaching. They live with the saying : WE WILL ALL DIE ONE DAY. I CHOOSE TO DIE WHILE SPREADING THIS IDEAL.

Jesus is an example of such rebel.He recruited disciples, taught them new teachings, instructed them to spread the teaching, challenged the money makers in the temple . He was subsequently arrested and crucified. Today, Christianity is world largest religion.

Reverend Father Martin Luther is another Catholic rebel who was expelled from the Catholic Church for non conformity. His rebellion led to the protestantism.

The northern part of Nigeria is trying so hard to curtail its rebel. First, Mubarak Bala has been arrested for propagating anti – Islamic teaching and insulting Prophet Mohammed on social media. A musician has been sentenced to death for mocking the prophet in his song. While courtesy demand we respect other people belief, This has raised lots of question. This sexual activities make up a little percentage of the entire activities in the house. But because the average Nigerian is obsessed with sex, we often exaggerate a minute sexual act .To classify BBNAIJA as porn show because of a minute sexual act is like throwing away the baby with the bath water . There is no Hollywood script today without an erotic scene. The popular James bond movie showed traces of nudity .

We can learn life lessons from BB Naija . The current life triangle between Erica, Laycon and Kiddway can provide a vital lesson to young men and women experiencing relationship issues. At times we are torn between Two choices, going for a nice person whom loves us very much or one whom we love but does not really care about us. Reverend Father Mbaka has been a constant predictor of political events. Prophet T.B Joshua is known for his prophecies on soccer. Pastors are not different from us. They had their interest as human. While we chose to specialise in health, engineering, buissness, banking,etc,a pastor chose to focus on religion. An engineer can be a Barcelona fan.A pastor can too. Putting on a white cassock does not mean they should kill off all their interest. Asking them to hide off their personal interest from the public creates a hypocrite out of them all. One who loves reality shows before ordination would still love it after ordination.

What is wrong in a religious father using the interest of the parishioners to explain certain biblical concept to the parishioners. Some higher religious people spend more time thinking of other worldly people as sinners, condemning others to hell, seeing oneself as righteous.Their thouyis channelled positively towards themselves and negatively towards others. A low level spirit can pray for hours and never be heard .
A low leveled spirit has not performed enough service to others, he has not helped enough or cared enough.


A high level spirit- has performed high kind act for others and have accumulated much wealth and therefore has a better chance of being heard .
