Ethelia: Exactly. I've always wondered why people flock to WES so much especially those from schools with a history of delay. For me it's knowledge gap. I can never remember the difference between ICES, IQAS, ICAS. Make person no go enter one chance. Really regret going with WES in this instance sha. WAEC ke? |

joo2018: 10wks for ECA. 10 weeks is less than three months. A good number of people spend average of 5 months on WES because of verification. |

mhoreh: I just requested for EOR so the journey might still be a bit long, should I wait to see if it will still come or just request for replacement. Start by going to the nearest post office to the address you used and check for your mail. If its not there, you can re-request using one of these options: a) c/o an acquaintance in the UK or another country with a credible postal system, then ask them to scan to you. Or b) Use your office address or c/o someone working in a popular establishment. Mails sent to a banks headquarters in Lagos or an embassy in Abuja are unlikely to disappear. c) close your eyes and pay for courier. |

Kayma2000: Hmmm So what happens to people who started the WES process before this new Waec requirement. For those who were in 'awaiting documents' status before, WAEC has been added to the list. This matter is really stupid and provocative because we just made payment day before yesterday. Should have used an alternate evaluating body. |

Utonne: Hi guys,
Thanks for all your amazing support so far.
Please I intend to use 100% gift deed and I’ve gone through all four threads and will like to clarify the supporting documents that will accompany it Notarized Gift deed Affidavit Letter of Non-indebtedness LOE Transfer Slip Bank statement Screenshot of the day’s conversion from Bank of Canada website for $US Funds & CBN rates for naira
Is this ok? Am I going overboard doing the most? Your advice will be appreciated. Thank you No need for LOE. Affidavit is not compulsory. Gift deed notarisation is optional. If you can get bank letter in cic format letter of non indebtedness and bank statement won't be needed. Screenshot to lock in interest rates, yes. |

Bloggerina18: Congratulations @Newmum0615, I've been waiting to read your testimony cos I see the way you selflessly assist others here. May Canada favour you in everyway.
Meanwhile, I came here today coz I feel so discouraged. My CRS is sitting @ 425. My birthday is this month, minus 5 from my score again. Ielts was quite good so no need to redo. I won't finish my MBA till Sept next year and am just so frustrated. CRS has refused to drop, Ontario never call me, if not I would have paid the fee gladly. Cant find any other PNP. My NoC is 6314 so its not in demand anywhere. Hubby's NOC is IT and those New Bruswick people went to go and add French language to their requirement. Abeg where I wan see French again. Abi what else can one do?
Everything about naija don tire me. My office to is just somehow now. All the people I have taught about this EE process don leave me Go or at least have ITA. They've even advised me to come and do refugee in canada and I won't lie, I was beginning to consider it. Am really losing hope...Am just so tired. Please don't lose hope. September next year is closer than you think. |

mhoreh: Good evening everyone..
Glad to be here, just submitted EOR for ielts for 8.5,7,6.5,7, hopefully I get a positive feedback soonest.
Asking for a friend. He got PR earlier the year which he applied for in Europe. He decided to show face in Naija before leaving for Canada. He then thought to marry his fiancee legally so he can apply for her visa when he lands before they complete marriage rites next year, so they can go back tougher. Few days ago he realised, he has to declare he's married and CIC will take away his visa and process his wife's own along with it which will take extra time. The problem now is, he doesnt have pof for himself anymore talkless of showing for his wife. He has bought a ticket already to leave before realising if he doesn't declare his spouse he might run into trouble of misrepresentation and may never be able to sponsor her.
Please what can he do cos he got married legally 3weeks ago and his ticket is for this month It's quite straightforward in my opinion. There are no shortcuts, he already got himself into the situation. 1. Open his ticket or change travel date well into the future. He cannot land until he sorts this issue. 2. Raise CSE and inform IRCC of marriage, indicating that the spouse will not accompany... This should save delay of resubmitting passport. He should start arranging pof for two because even for non accompanying one must show pof. |

Please, can someone earning 45k salary with a state government apply for ee? Someone told me the low salary will be a problem. Is this a fact please and if yes, what is the minimum salary one needs to earn to be eligible? Thanks. There's no minimum salary. Check page 1 of this thread for full info. |

joo2018: Hi e-family. Progress. Got a due date on my WES ECA evaluation. Q: As anybody got the evaluation report earlier than the due date given? The stories I hear more are for those that got after the due date. yes. it happens both ways. There's a canadavisa wes timeline thread which i followed then, some (me included) get earlier than due date. others get after due date. and again some get on the due date regardless, once your profile changes to 'final evaluation' expect your eca in max 2 days. |

ysteph: I noticed the issue of biometrics have been discussed a couple of times here. Just wondering, is there an issue with giving biometrics? Additional payment, additional application step=possibility of increased processing time, additional stress and travel cost for those outside abuja and lagos, seeking permission for day off work..... |

Luce: According to this tweet you quoted, that means the information about applications submitted before 31st July not requiring biometrics is the correct one. Let's just watch and wait for them to confirm their intent. I accessed this link from my profile account. It gives the info posted here earlier that we need biometrics. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 4 by Tojued: 4:34pm On Jul 31, 2018 |
clock89: I am not sure but this info from canada.ca seems to disagree with you. It does sound counter-intuitive though
If we received your application before July 31
You need to give your biometrics if you’re between 14 and 79 years old, even if you gave them to us in the past in support of an application for a visitor visa, study or work permit.
If we received your application on or after July 31
You don’t need to give your biometrics if:
you already gave them in the past in support of an application for a visitor visa, study or work permit, and your biometrics are still valid.
You can find out if your biometrics are still valid and when they expire by using the Check Status Tool.
How do I know if my application was received before July 31, 2018? [s]They're contradicting themselves by themselves. They should stop this rough play o.[/s] From all indications right now sha it's a compulsory biometric something for all of us
