Yea. it is not a condition..... In a perfect world, it would be the case that when you submit, you get more love. But we know humans are flawed correct? There are cases where husbands abuse their roles and lord over their wives devoid of loving them like Christ such as that of physical violence, emotional abuse and the like.

I once created a thread on domestic violence and wife battering that Seun disliked but if you read that thread you will realize that ladies are solely responsible for the case of wife battering because there is always a first time when a man beats her up but in many cases, these ladies stay back and say they dont want people to laugh at them or they are staying because of their children bla bla bla...some unmarried ladies even go ahead to marry a fiance that beats them up.

So please when we talk about submission, just leave out domestic violence because ladies are the main people who encourage domestic violence.

However, submission comes with certain stipulations. First, the man has to love the wife like Christ unto the Church.

I have not a problem with the idea of submission. I do however detest those who "insist" upon themselves. Like those on a power trip. It tends to bring out the rebellious side of me.

Using my parents as example, my mama no dey gree o She can be VERY stubborn once she knows she's right. My dad already knows this nature of hers and would wilfully concede to her point of view in order to reach a compromise. They both understand each other that way.

This means the submissive wife is stripped off her free will but not her freedom of speech. So tell me, how is being submissive different from being a slave when there's no free will?

Being submissive is not tantamount to slavery.

I am an APC member but a non partisan one.

We actually voted Buhari because of his anti-corruption stands which has made us look so unwanted by international community just like United states Voted Obama because they were tired of wars and sending their children to war.

As we can see, he is not doing badly in that area but its just unfortunate that the back drop is what no one ever envisaged.

60% of our imports are actually from China and Japan and these countries can easily trade naira yen directly without first converting to dollars

As it is before you buy 1m yen worth of goods you have to convert naira to dollars first then to yen...this is a total waste of huge commission.

Central bank said dollar rate will be determined by demand and supply yet they have refused to create a competitive module for dollars by frantically making it the numero uno foreign currency

stop keh...all the sensitive tins we import into the country are been paid for in dollars, pple also pays schools fees in dollars so what we should b looking at is how to increase the inflow of dollar by exportation...only exportation i mean huge tonnes of goods can help save d naira a bit.

I may not be too knowledgeable about the dynamics of foreign exchange but from my naive perspective I believe the CBN and Federal government are willing collaborators to this never ending crazy surge of demands of dollars.

Why can't importers buy Japanese yen directly or China currency so that the demand on dollars will be reduced hence forcing it down.

Buhari is gradually destroying the image of APC Tinubu tenaciously built with serious hard work.

In other countries there would have been chaos but we have great tolerance in this country.

The payment of brideprice is the wedding proper. On that day, the groom pays the brideprice, we dance, eat, drink and other feferity. After that the bride packs her kaya to husband's house, THE SAME DAY.

That's the route I will be taking. No church wedding for me.

If most ladies have this in mind then we will be having more marriages take place. Many guys are just too scared to propose without getting ready for all the razzmatazz that comes with a grand wedding.
