shawnfamous:Loooool. Olodo I learnt something from Shekarau during one of the 2011 presidential debates: "Sincerity of Purpose". If a government is purposeful, it will show. 35 Billion Dollars gone. Poof. Just like that. |
It is sad the quality of individuals that make up the Nigerian Youth of today. Has it been reduced to this display of hate? Get your PVC and use it. There's no need going around, wasting energy insulting each other. |

That looks like Otto Wharf after Mile 2 heading towards wharf. It is usually this way even on Sundays, not sure it has anything to do with the presence/absence of Igbos. More like no activities at the ports. However if it makes you feel good then please carry on. |
sinorte:Ewo tun ni Alagbole? I have a friend who works in VI and lives at Ojodu Berger and complains BITTERLY about getting to and fro work. Now to add Alagbole to it. I wish I could help by offering you some available flats for rent, however, I know nothing about that. Please intensify your search and look at Ikeja, Yaba, Ebutte Metta, Bariga, Akoka, Gbagada etc. My consideration is your wife. However, if you guys can find another job for her on the mainland, then Alagbole is fine. All the amenities and space you are seeing in the Ikorodu flat is not worth it at the end of the day. From you quote about online pictures, it appears you are using those tolet.ng and co. You and your wife can spread the word to your friends and colleagues that you are looking for an apartment, they might also be able to help. |
^^^ We learnt all these things from our fathers and just jumped into it without reasoning for ourselves. Our fathers sat down and watched things get to this level without doing anything about it, later they will start telling stories of how goat was 1 Naira, car was half a kobo. What were they looking at for donkey years! Busy forming parapo I guess. Our generation should be different and more enlightened at least the media has made other countries and their way of life known to us. That is our greatest undoing in this country, to assume that just because an individual is from my village, he will influence my life positively. An Esan man in the corridors of power does not have any trouble getting contracts and money from an Igbo man, Yoruba, Berom, Itsekiri, Kalabari and vice versa. As long as they are in the cabals and corridors, forget all this poor man parapoism we are forming on Nairaland, they are all very tight friends. What did Obasanjo do for his state in his 8 years as president? What has GEJ done for his? What has Sambo done for his? Atiku has been useful to his region because he is not just a politician but an astute business man too and even he still hasn't done nearly enough. What did Stella Oduah do for her people? Well she is busy giving out cars in Anambra now all to become a senator. Femi Fani Kayode - the loud mouth buffoon, what did he do? Make una leave parapoism for social events only abeg. |
Ikorodu ke? What are they doing there? This Lagos stress is way too much for me to consider adding unnecessary wahala to it. Leave home 4, get home 11. Tah! Since you and your wife don't work around Ketu then please forget that Ikorodu option. I'd rather live in a one bed in "town" than a duplex in Ikorodu and go through the stressful Lagos commute from Ikorodu to VI. Intensify your search, you'll get better options. |
Tommywa2:Happy New Dear. Do you have any challenge in mind? |
puffpuff:They weren't but never mind. |
puffpuff:You appeared to know much about Ekiti politics, I don't. That's the reason for the questions, if you cannot answer them then have a nice day and thanks for your time |
puffpuff:Were they wrongfully demoted or retired? Were there any accusations or allegations about improper conduct of the examination or results? Honest question ni o |
Mayour11:How does sitting for an examination lead to retrenchment? Except of course the teachers wrote their WAEC at "special centres" and cannot defend their qualifications. |
. |
I agree with OP. Barcanista sounds intelligent and well informed, he is one of the folks whose words I read carefully. Emphasis on "sounds". |
Ewo tun ni "Photochromic Ballot Papers"? |

Originalsly:Cancer is being investigated because of the lump seen and malignancy in the fluid tested. |
Signing in. I have relaxed hair too and it grows well on its own without much help. I would like to help it along so it can achieve maximum health and length BUT I'm incredibly lazy when it comes to all this regimen nonsense. Attached is a picture of a trim I had a couple of months back. The strands on my palm is a sample of what I cut off before taking the picture on the left. That much was trimmed because my hair ends were really thin (A result of profectiv relaxer - worked well for my sis but not for me)

Osi pronounced Oshi O as in Orange means lord of a clan/family. Bajo means back from a journey Osi bajo means the lord of this clan is back from a journey. |
^^^ The way forward is treatment outside Nigeria, one can only hope we haven't wasted too much time already. Now we know there's cancer somewhere. Nigerian hospitals leave so much to be desired. It is time we begin mobilising for DJ to be flown abroad. The prognosis from where I'm standing is really not one that gives room for patience. Especially no Nigerian hospital patience. |
I got my hamper Excelsia and Obinoscopy, thanks so much for this pleasant gift, I feel mighty blessed. Now me sef must go into the world and bless others. Muah Muah Muah. Daalu
