The documents a single applicant will show will be quite different from the documents a married Applicant or married Applicant with kids will show, So the documents u are to show are the ones that resonates with you, same as if u are employed or not or you just concluded ur NYSC.

Note: Police Clearance Certificate is valid for 3-Months Thanks @Lekiboboe, @hollivile, @JustMellow and everyone for the advise. I filled the questionnaire and the required documents spooled out for my profile are; Application for study permit made outside of Canada (IMM1294), Letter of acceptance, International Passport, Proof of funds, Passport Photo, Family Information, Application for a Temporary Resident Visa made outside Canada (IMM5257) and Letter of explanation. There were NO Letter of employment, letter of introduction of employer, payslip, degree cerificate, transcript, nysc cerificate and the others in the required documents to provide. The list looks really weird (quite easy) though, compared to what I was expecting... I hope I am not mixing things up (cause I am wondering why my profile does not require at least my BSc certificate and transcripts)?? |

And for employment letter, international passport and the rest, there is an upload section for them
Employment letter and all that concerns you are to be merged together as a file and uploaded in the client information section

Hello everyone...please I need clarification on what I need to submit to the Visa office... I downloaded this IMM 5483 (document checklist) form and noticed that many of the docs that were listed on nairaland [[ https://www.nairaland.com/4773130/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/228#75475575 ]] were not on the IMM 5483 form...Docs like copy of employment letter, copy of confirmation letter, applicant's statement of account, copy of family picture, copy of international passport of family members, letter of introduction from employer e.t.c WERE NOT ON THE IMM5483 form.. Abeg Which one should I follow?? Cause the list pasted on nairaland is quite long and I dont have many of the docs (but I have all the docs on the IMM5483 form)... Also, please how will get this police character certificate?? Thanks |

Hello everyone,
I am quite new here. Pardon if I am asking a question that has been asked before.
I saw on this thread that the proof of living expenses that the Visa office requires form my sponsor is 10,000 CAD. However the estimated living expenses on the pdf file that my University sent is more than 10,000 CAD (about 24,000 CAD; accommodation, meals, books and supplies e.t.c). Which do you think the Visa office will consider?? 10,000 CAD or the one my school requires??
Also, peradvaenture I defer till January (winter 2021), can I start processing my Visa from now? hope it's not too early? |

preciouspumpkin: Hello everyone, it's good to see that this movement is gaining traction, we can all use the hashtag #opennnpc with the hope that our voices would be heard. You can also tag the likes of henryshield, joeabah, ogbenidipo, segalink, mkkyari, mnpcgroup, omojuwa, ezekweseli, gimba kakanda, Sahara reporters, various news outlets and other influencers, activists and Patriots.
We are asking for 1) Updates from NNPC as it pertains to this recruitment. We shouldn't just be kept in the dark. 2) When is APL coming out? 3) When is resumption?
NNPC has to be accountable to the Nigerian people.
Please also ignore the naysayers, they have nothing to add. Cowards die many times before their deaths. Exactly! Guys let's make this happen! We can do this! |

Grupo: Hahahaha. No mind then jare. Let then go and trend hash tag.
#EndSars has been trending for like forever yet Sars keep harassing more and more people everyday.
MKKyari doesn't operate his Twitter account. He has aides who do that and the only thing he gets to see are those shown to him by the aides. And no aide would show his boss the wailings of some jobless youths on twitter.
You guys should better move on to other things while waiting for NNPC. I know it's hard to move on because some people don already build house for their head with NNPC money. Even if it does not result in anything, its still better than keeping quiet... Funny enough, some of these top politicians are actually active viewers on social media...V.P. Osinbajo is an example... who knows this move can get his attention... And even if it does not, we still keep pushing! Evil persists when good people keep quiet and do nothing |

Mitocyan: Well if it is a UK school, I won't be quick to conclude, even for a top UK school because you have to pack your load immediately you graduate except on extremely rare occasions where you get a job before you graduate or if you are a citizen of UK by birth or something.
But there is still a workaround for UK. I know people that after going for masters in UK saved up from their scholarship funds and used it to port to Australia, one even ported to Canada and they are both doing well. If this is your ultimate plan NNPC should be able to give you the same thing with much comfort because you can do your Nigerian masters while gaining NNPC experience and have enough money to port to good countries. Though you have to hope that Canada doesn't stop their permanent residency plan by the time you decide it is time to leave.
If you are a patient and business minded person NNPC is a great option becuase you can be nuturing your side business with support from your upfront and salary. Something you cannot readily do in these top countries. Lots of them are against owning businesses while on student Visa. Thanks for the insight bruv... but someone that will be willing to pursue Nigerian masters has to wait to see where nnpc will post him to so he can apply for masters degree in a neighbouring school (close to his place of work)... |

None of us got any sms about updating centre location (thats if they sent). the issue is, when i try to login with his pin and password, i get the " Sorry, we hate errors but one just occurred, try any of the following............." whereas if i try to login with my own details, i get "the portal is closed, try again later".
its the same message whether i try to log in on phone or computer. Why the different messages, please does any one have any idea as to what they could mean. Thanks
SOMEBODY, ANYBODY PLEASE ANSWER ME OOOOOO Your brother's password is incorrect...that's the reason for that message. Then, no sms or email was sent to candidates. I perceive they are still in the process of shortlisting that's y they closed the portal (not sure though). |
