I know what I'm talking about. I've lived and worked in the UK and I have cousins in the US whom I've stayed with for sometime. Food is not the only necessity. Housing, medical bills, utility bills are all necessary as well. And food isn't that cheap. An average family of five will spend not less than $2k a month. That's about a million naira. If one leaves one's family back home in Nigeria and sends them that million a month, do you know the kind of standard of living they will have? Let alone rent, electricity, medical fees etc. As the OP said, it's much better to go alone, work for a couple of years, send funds back home, build a house and open a thriving business, then head back here for an early retirement.

You r making some sense. The work that fetches you 100k in Nigeria, how much do you think you will earn in US with it??

Every common man is crying and wailing. people are using any chance to get extra money unjustly..... ranging from public servants collecting bribes at any chance to business people inflating prices and hoarding items so as to cause scarcity. Politicians are also looting, collecting kickbacks, sharing project fund which is always inflated.
Salary is no longer sufficient at all cos of inflation.

40,000 naira now can't do what 10,000 could do in 2010. But salary and income of people hasn't doubled since that time.

For they are human being. You will ask what is being a human .

The degree of control each has over the other differs from person to person.... we can to a good extent, programme them by ourselves into different hierarchy, so that they can have different level of superiority in affecting our decision making.

The mind can override the flesh when faced with pains, likewise the spirit can override both, it depends on what they all agree to fight for and sacrifice for.

I cannot hold back from asking, How can man be emotionally strong like a woman brought up by a mother? Even though it appears, I might have seen what Ur answer may be, borrowing from Ur opinion above but y should I conclude on assumption when you can free me from the entanglement of my thoughts.
Can women be physically strong as men, naturally? Nature is beautiful if only we see it the way it is, for fire is good and water is good, darkness and light are there in goodness. How would we appreciate light without darkness.....the fireworks created by us can only be beautiful in darkness.
Nature comes with contrasting characters and effect, full grasp of it is knowing that we are weak in different niches.....in Ur strongest place, I am weak and need Ur help to succeed.
Just like a child needs parents at young stage to have slight chances of survival and same with old parents. That's the joy and beauty of nature.

Ilorin is generally known as a Muslim town. It has been an Emirate since 1823. Muslims are officially in majority. Sharia Court system operates in Kwara State adjudicating over Muslim matters. No non - Muslim has been forced to appear in the court.
Christians established schools to convert Muslim students to their religion. They deny Muslims the practice of Islam in an Islamic town with an Emir and great scholars of Islam. The government in its wisdom took over the schools to protect the interest of all, while it has been financing the running of the schools with taxpayers' money, majority of who are Muslims, and yet the Christians continue to oppress the Muslims by not allowing the Muslims to practise their religion. Do the Christians expect the Muslims to fold their hands and watch their children converted to Christianity before their eyes? That is not possible. Christians attend Muslim schools in the state. They are not forced to wear _hijāb_ in the Muslim schools.


Principals and Vice Principals should no longer be appointed by the former owners of the schools. Loyalty and allegiance of the Principals and the Vice Principals will always belong to whoever appoints them because whoever pays the piper dictates the tune. The government should appoint them as they appoint other teachers to demonstrate that it is the owner of the schools, and that the schools are not jointly owned by the government and anyone, or partially owned with anyone else.

The schools were missionary schools before Govt waded in. Govt shouldn't forcefully try to take over the schools.

No checkpoint in the east must be used as a base for extortion, as ESN may pay a visit to such a checkpoint with the intention of neutralising those military extortionists

If you chase away the police and military from checkpoints, then armed robbers, thugs and herdsmen will have festivals on the road.

Nigerian army and fake videos when it comes to their actions on civilians are like fish & water.
