Sports / Re: I Am Done With Ike Uche – Keshi Blasts by toorich: 6:29am On Oct 09, 2014
watchindelta:
Oct 8, 2014 16:48:31
The Nigeria coach has accused the Villareal man of turning down the opportunity to play for his
country and would never be invited again

Nigeria interim coach Stephen Keshi has told journalists to stop asking the reason for the
absence of striker Ikechukwu Uche from his team as he disclosed that the Villareal man turned
down an opportunity to return last month.

Keshi said that he would never beg Uche to play for the Super Eagles in a very comprehensive
explanation regarding the shut out of the player at a media parley on Wednesday. Uche had been
ignored since the end of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations which Nigeria won.

With his top form in Spain, he had been expected to make the squad to the World Cup but was
again overlooked while Keshi took along strikers in poorer form. The issue of Uche's recall came
up last month when Keshi announced his team to take on Congo and South Africa without the
Yellow Submarine man, who took to Twitter to deny asking to be begged to play for his country.
Today, Keshi opened up on the issue extensively.

“I don’t want to talk about the issue of Ikechukwu Uche again and I don’t want anybody to ask
me about him again,” Keshi said while responding to a journalist’s question.

“Before [last month’s] game against Congo, I did the list. I didn’t even want to do the list because
I never knew I would come back to handle the team. I told them I am not the coach that [the
NFF] should do the list but they said no, I should please do the list.

“I did the list and Ikechukwu Uche’s name was on the 25 man list I did. He (Ike Uche) didn’t even
know about it because I did not tell him. Uche then called me four days later and said “Coach
how are you? and I said boy it is good to hear your voice.” We just spoke like brothers and that
was it.

“I then told [Team] Secretary, Dayo Enebi, to ask if the players have South African visas and the
ones that don’t have he should take their passports ahead of time to process their visas.

“He then asked Ikechukwu Uche and Uche said why is he asking him and why was he asking for
his international passport.

“I hate to speak without Uche not being here or if you want to call him put him on speaker to
know who is telling lies or not. And please nobody should ask me about Uche again.

“Uche said he needs somebody to talk to him about something they said about him as being a
bad kid and they said he did something wrong.

“Then I said okay [Dayo Enebi] take his name out. I am not going to beg Uche and I am not
going to tell Daniel [Amokachi] to beg Uche, for what?

“We have played for this country for over 20 years and nobody ever begged us to play for the
country. We are the ones always begging to play.

"So please let this be the end today. Don’t ask me about Uche. We have Obafemi Martins and
others (doing well) and nobody is making fuss about not being invited.

“What is wrong with him? Why do people want to tear this team apart,” Keshi queried.

The Super Eagles are without the injured pair of Victor Moses and Michael Babatunde as they
head to Khartoum. Nigeria face a must-win pair of matches against Sudan if they hope to qualify
to defend their African title in Morocco next year.

unfortunate it is Nigerian football that will bear the consequence of Keshi's ego. what has Uche done wrong from Keshi's complain?

It would have been an error for super eagles to advance further in the world cup with a coach who cannot take responsibility. A manager that delight in passing blames for his failure can never succeed.

At first it was Osazee wasn't playing to instruction, now Enyeama is the reason for Nigeria's defeat? is this a joke? Keshi should have used his Agbims instead Enyeama at the goalpost maybe super eagles would have scored against France.

well, i promised myself never to return there.

FOLYKAZE:

It is either you are a thief or trying to venture into pastorpreneur. Did what you quote indicates money at all?

This is from the bible:

Deuteronomy 14
22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year.
23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the Lord your God always.
24 But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the Lord your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the Lord will choose to put his Name is so far away),
25 then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the Lord your God will choose.
26 Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice.

27 And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.
28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns,
29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

From the above verse, tithe is to be paid yearly or every three years adding up all the previous years. This contradict fraudulent claims of monthly paying you and your pasthieves are spreading.

Tithe is farm produce and not money

Tithe can be convert to silver/money when you at distance place but you will use it to buy whatever pleases your heart.....meaning those farm produce you cant travel with but you can still buy farm produce when you get to the house of God. This contradict your holy-scam of opening account with the bank and sowing seed with money? Is church investment company?

Nothing like double double blessing in that verse, you pay tithe and praise the lord for giving it to you. Not the other way round, pay and be bless........you are a thief.

Paying tithe is jollyment..........your version is exploitation and ripping people's pocket dry.

YOU HAVE TURNED THE HOUSE OF GOD INTO HOUSE OF ROBBERS.

damosky12 and his team pastorpreneur are THIEVES

ok continue! the koboko of life will tell if paying tithe is right or wrong. no need for arguement, it just a matter of time. prosperity or poverty is not by force. God's word is clear enough, he who has ears let him hear.

@OP, you can as well snap Jesus or the Holy spirit and give us his picture to use because any other drawing will be idolatory.

i bet someone like you will rather use "Dove" to represent the God that created you. i think thats not only idolatory but an insult to represent God with an animal.

you should learn the meaning of words before you use them. using the picture of a MOG on banners doesnt mean they present themselves to you to worship them as God, it simple means this is the vessel through which God is going to bless you because he is anionted for the purpose. God uses him for your sake, if God is going to bless you He wont appear physical but thats why he anoints some MEN specially for the purpose. they point you to salvation from Jesus, fellowhip with God and help you grow in spiritual things.

you hear of Apostle paul, peter, john and the likes, God use these early saints to bless you with the Bible you use. you should have said it was idolatory to use the names of men as books of the HOLY bible.

wake you and get religion out of your mind.

mbhs139: Hunnnnn!

Well, if I were Otedola I'll simply approach the court to restrain the house from investigating my company for any wrong doing after being exonerated by a committee set up by the house itself. Two, I'll sue the house for even attempting to investigate my company after clearing it of any wrong doing it the report and insist that the earlier report be made to stand, and since the Ouse itself have said that they still stand by that report, then they lack the locus status to query my company again based on that report.

Now, come to think of it, how can you say that report still stand and yet you want to bring in a company whose name was initially cleared of any wrong doing only after the chairman of the committee was accused of collecting bribe?

It just appears as if the people will call our representatives can not think more or less than like a child. Well, which ever way they want to take this case, except and only if Otedola himself have something to hide, they will loose if this matter is taken to court.

By the way, like someone said on this matter in an earlier post, why must it always be the house of representative that should be investigating fraud cases, what is the work of the police, SSS, icpc and the efcc? Must they always wait until they are called in? What is the rule of law on criminal investigation?

To cut the whole story short, this one na just film we dey watch, it will soon end. Make one big thing just happen again now, then that's the end of this show. But serious, this people aren't ashamed of themselves. It's terribly terrible.

I like your analysis.

Another Question to ask is why should the house be quick to take A̶̲̥̅̊‎ stand on the report without investigating the possibility that it could have been compromised by collection of bribe from others including otedola? I can only guess they are point fingers at only otedola for exposing their act.
Farouk stated he had informed the house on the bribe money from otedola since on d 24th April (only whn he kwn he was caught) why did the house kp quite on it until otedola spoke out on 6th June? why should the house order the EFCC to investigate otedola outside the recommendation of the FSR where as it stands they unanimously voted his companies to be removed. Why otedola the only oil marketer to be investigated? Why didnt the house also "order" the EFCC to investigate the bribe collected by farouk lawan? Why should A̶̲̥̅̊‎ house committee investigate A̶̲̥̅̊‎ clear case of bribery, who is heading such committee?another farouk I guess?
Its obvious that the house will do everything to protect farouk and prosecute otedola because if farouk goes down, he will surely take those whose pockets were stuffed with the bribe money and expose many other under secret skeletons of house members. I'm now convinced Obj was fully awake when said the house is filled with rogues and thieves

Another dimension to this matter is A̶̲̥̅̊‎ northern house elite (backed by A̶̲̥̅̊‎ northern hse leardership) vs A̶̲̥̅̊‎ western business elite (backed by A̶̲̥̅̊‎ western Obj). Take it or leave it there is always regional sentiment when it comes to nigerian politics, its A̶̲̥̅̊‎ common nigerian mentality.. This battle is beyond the issue of farouk vs otedola. Let's watch and see

PDP is really A̶̲̥̅̊‎ dirty party

If this was a sting operation as Otedola claims, why didnt the police/sss arrest farouk lawan since a prima facie case was already established, why did they have to wait for otedola to blow out before taking up the case.
Otedola issued this bribe since april, why did it take him so long to make public the involvement of lawan in the bribe scandal.
Lawan claimed to have handed the moneys to the national assembly duely informing them, how come the national assembly never made mention of it till now.

It's unprofessional to indulge in such at a crucial time like this, resources should have been focused on getting to the bottom of things not conjuring up more scandals when other matters remain unresolved.
