Just walking is enough. If you can walk fast, better. If you can walk very long distance, even better. If ou can't , just walk. But whatever you do, do it EVERYDAY! And at least 1 hr.

And patiently watch yourself. It may take up to a year. My bet advice is, if your job is a walking distance. Forget your car, walk to your job and back to home everyday.
It also helps with sleep. So if you have insomnia, this could be a double therapy for ya.

I have given him the best advice. No sedatives, no ordinary doctor. This is not for FMC, this needs a psychiatrist. Go to psychiatric hospital near you. If he's hallucinating he may be having a psychotic illness. Or if it was due to alcohol withdrawal then it's what is called delirium tremens which is still psychotic. The final pathway is to a psychiatrist.

No sedation. Go to psychiatrist. The earlier the better.

from your story it seems your brother may be developing schizophrenia of some sort. if he has some signs of psychosis then he needs a psychiatrist asap. i know there's a neuropsychiatric hospital in calabar there. and yes he may be tested for drugs. the doctors will like to know which drugs he has been taking. it will help guide therapy. yes, it can be treated.

dont go sedating him. sedatives are no treatment for psychotic illness. see a specialist. there are anti-psychotic agents used to treat psychotic illnesses and sedatives are not anti-psychotic pls. dont complicate issues
