guys, dont despair. this yr was not good for the reds, but never mind, sometimes u need to tear something down b4 u build a new stuff. all these 3rd/4th place is not good for us, now we'll go for 1st or nothing.

xtianity is in the individual. the bible is the final 'constitution' of the xtians. big church, small church= another irrelevant distraction to God's work. another avenue to plant discord. there is no gathering of human beings in this world where we can't find enough criticism to damn it. if big churches are eliminated and only small churches survive, there will be enoughgrounds for criticism of the small churches. enough for advocates of big churches to reign supreme.

as a xtian, just go to church, learn about God and relax. remember, some pastors may err in the sight of God, but that shouldnt stop true believers from faithfully worshipping their God. even when God was angry with Eli, he still favoured little samuel who was under Eli's tutelage

i'm actually in support of health reform. i believe every human being made in the image and likeness of God should have health coverage, just as i believe every human being made in the image and likeness of God has a right to life and that inalienable right is superior to the right of the mother to have a choice.

i strongly believe that it all boils down to money . . if nigeria, for instance, were a rich nation, people wont make fun of our culture/accent/color etc and more importantly we will be proud of our being.

no matter what we do, as long as we remain a non focussed poor nation or group of nations, everything we do will be seen as poor. be it accent/color/food/dance etc, but once we are great, the whole worl will want to dance to our tune. look at americans, people who cant even speak good english, but b/c they are rich and powerful, their english becomes the latest and even finds its way into the dictionary, their culture becomes world event, etc

i left the UK after my studies to pursue a further career in clinical medicine in the US. if nigeria was a place where young talented intellectuals had a chance without knowing someone in high places, i would have loved to come home. i tried to get a job in naija but it didnt work.

i just finished my licence exams in the US and will soon start my residency. i'm not happy b/c i know the best place for me to work would have been my own country. i will still end up in nigeria someday
