No! I couldn't give a flying f@@k if he's "repented". Let him go and start a charity if he wants to show he is a "changed" man.

The God I believe in gave us our brains for a reason. So as far as I am concerned, God and religion have nothing to do with this.

while abeem's expanation may be true, i have another explanation to make.

the west has a way of calling a dog a bad name in order to hang it. i watched a documentry on the border guards of US Mexico border where the guard calls the mexicans trying to cross the border terrorists. ha!. poor people trying to make a living. the US congress went a step further to make a law that calls illegal immigrants criminals. ha! wtz thier offence, they came to US to find means of livelihood. see? so, i'm not suprised. b4 now there has been so much story in the western press about Iran's poor economy, bad govt etc. Na their business?they just want to giveiran a bad name that's all.
i was amazed by the abject poverty i saw in new orleans during the katrina period. if not for katrina who woulda seen such despondency on american soil.
so i see the west as people who just use the press for propaganda.
The US remains the only country in the world to have made and actually used a weapon of mass destruction.

How could someone who lead a country into its present State now suddenly wants to become the president of the same country. If this happens then We all the international connections and good images Obj had drawn out would be in vain, cry cry cry
stanech could u tell me how all the "international connections and good images" of obj benefited the nation and the poor nigerian looking for food.

All what u said is rubbish. So kewell is an average playa, luis garcia, alonso, reina, morientes, carragher n co are all average players. Rubbish rubbish rubbish. Tink before u talk
@lalaboi
sorry, no vex, u know say liverpool is not an average team, anyone who gets a shirt in the team is far from average. i just did not have the right vocabulary to distinguish between their greatness and the greatness of stephen gerrard. steve is not just a great player, he is a great captain off the field, and a great person .he is humble and wonderful.
cheers cheesy

bagoma:
kola, how did you conclude he is talking about liverpool?
when he said reds he could have meant Man United.(thats what methinks, sha) they are the red devils, remember?
so toshman which is your club?
my dear bagoma, there is only one team known globally as the reds. the one and only reds. they never walk alone, they have the most loyal and dedicated fans in the history of football, the great beattles sang a song in thier honor. they are the greatest. they have another name. that name is liverpool man u has never, and will never take the name "the reds". they tried to, but they got stuck, that's why they are called the red devils( for compensation)
cheers, babygirl
all da best

If you read my comments well, i hardly predict football.

You seems to like your team well well.

1) Whats the point difference between Chelsea and Liverpool in 2004/2005

Ans: 30 points

2) Whats the , in 2005/2006?

Ans: huh

3) Which team has the gut of beating you in Anfield by 4 goals?

Ans: Chelsea.

Thank you.
WTZ the difference btw the blues and the reds in premiership trophies--reds 18times, blues 2ice diff = 16times
the reds have won more trophies in cardiff than any other english team.
champions league reds 5times,blues 0
my dear kola--think again. have u forgotten, when it matters most red/blues the blues always go down. champios league, fa cup haha let's watch the charity shield.

Another group that is also already positioning itself comprises members of the economic team in Obasanjo's government. Notable among these people are Finance Minister, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Federal Capital Territory Minister, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Mr. Nuhu Ribadu, Central Bank Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo and Solid Minerals Minister, Mrs. Obiageli Ezekwesili.
The calculation within this group is that Obasanjo needs a candidate that is not only committed to the on-going reforms but someone who would and can sustain it. Although no candidate has yet emerged from this group, the possibilities of a North/South pairing are already emerging and the weeks ahead would tell the direction and whether Obasanjo will back the move.

This will probably the most efficient and trust worthy coliation in my opinion.

when the time comes, we'll see a coalition of the riggers and rapers of naija. we all know this. we can only pray and hope that someday, someone among the thieves will develop conscience and fight injustice for the nation.

Hey brother,
u gat a buddy here. i've been a liverpool fan since my childhood. infact i went to liverpool earlier this month on a "pilgrimmage." and next week i'm going there again. the reds remain the greatest success story in english football.

and for gerrard, he is the single tree that constitutes the liverpool soccer forrest( no disrespect for the rest of the reds)

so rare brother, we are a rare specie

cheers

@hotstepper and old glory,

well, i must conceed to the facts from the website hotstepper gave. i have my reservations though but i don't have the facts to argue against the documented evidence from ur website.
BTW, from the pictures in the website, toronto is extremely beautiful. i wish i may have to visit the city someday, before i die, if they let me.

Heelo Everyone: Special information.Believe it or not,We all hv bin hoodwinked in2 believing that we hv heroes in National Asembly ! 3rd trem plot was as unreal as Nigeria having a 2-4-7 power supply !

A carefully hatched script(It was meant to be debated, strongly canvassed for and later jettisoned)was bin executed as a diversionary agenda to buy time and groom a successor while scaring away all interested aspirants and opposition to d top job,by cooking up an impression that Baba wants 2 stay beyond 2007 as d fear of BABA is really d beginning of 'wisdom' in d land.

U watch and see !
gredgo,

na lie. the old man wanted to go for third term. na when e see say e no go easy, e begin think otherwise. he has been there for 7yrs as president, why hasn't he groomed a successor all these while. in anycase, he can just establish a solid INEC capable of conducting free and fair election, then we naijans will select a successor freely for ourselves.

cheers

es most cities are multi-cultrual but canada is the most diversed country in the world making toronto the most diversed city in the world, it is written, i live in toronto AKA TDOT so i know, i love canada, ma home and native land cry
i disagree, to be objective, the US is the most diverse nation in the world being indeed a nation of immigrants and also being the most powerful nation on earth for decades. however, the most diverse city in the world if london. London remains the melting pot of the world. there is hardly any family on earth that is not represented in london. when you are in london, just speak ur language(whatever it may be) for 10mins, someone somewhere will reply u

in any case, i live in cardiff. it is the capital of wales. quickly becoming multicultural(white/black=80/20).but it is a quiet friendly coastal city. an educational city with 2 major universities including the great cardiff uni(where i am). traffic is free, crime is low, the welsh are friendly. i wouldn't have wanted any other british city.(calabar in nigeria is towing the line of cardiff)

eto'o is a cameroonian, simple and short. if u start talking about ancestors, how are u sure our own ancestors(wether ibo, yoruba or whatever did not come from congo, or sudan, or burundi)does that link us with those countries?

anyway, the strongest team in the world is liverpool they are resilient, fight to finish, never say die, historic and ever strong/durable squad. watch out for next year's premiershipthey'll never walk alone

the barca team i watched 2day cannot beat an eleven man arsenal. even if the ref gave them that goal without sending off lehmann, the gunners woulda won da cup with 11 men from one goal down
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Barcelona Fc Vs Arsenal Fc ( 2005/2006 Uefa Champions League Final) by toshmann(m): 11:01pm On May 17, 2006
why are arsenal fans complaining (i'm a liverpool fan though)
arsenal played well, bearing the circumstances. ronaldinho disappointed me. he played nothing. etoo was the saving grace for barca.

alumna(or whatever his name is) did his best, made great saves(don't forget). don't blame him. u think it's easy to play one man down against a team like barca? try it. but arsenal did it and even scored 1st.

barca and their ronaldinho did not impress me at all.
