I didn't intend to insult you but if you feel offended by my comment, I am indeed sorry.

However, I need to clarify for the future. . . . I was having a light chit chat with a certian 'tpia'in the movie section a few months ago about Shawn Wayans being gorimapa etc. Was that a different person? huh I get confused by all these usernames so I must have thought I was teasing my old "friend".

Sorry again for the mix up.
no be fight abeg.

You know how people suffer a sea change on this nairaland, so I never take anything for granted here.

Me and someone can show each other our 32 teeth today and break bread together then before you know it the person suddenly switches gear and joins your opponents. Then starts boasting about how s/he never had a problem with you before but its your bad attitude and nature that made them decide "not to like you again". They wont mention their extra curricular "meetings" oh.

So after noticing so many weathercocks among my fellow naijas, I learnt to watch who I take at face value on NL. Thus when the wakabout bug bites people, I dont get surprised.

The bitch issue is still being ironed out because I'm on the lookout for the zealous persons who want to tell me I should be happy with the label. That's why you see me whinnying in alarm when the word is mentioned here.

Nothing spoil!

I didnt read through the write up yet- I only noticed the word fraudster in the title and the name he signed with at the bottom. Same way I scan 419 emails. Then I asked about it.

I'm beginning to get worried.
You seriously couldn't tell I was joking? And whats Adam Brody's filthy name doing here? huh
if you're joking but the person isnt finding it amusing, then ideally you should desist.

if its a fight then thats different.

but people do slyly insult others under the guise of joking.

does lol cover for the ongoing issues over people being called bitch on NL?

I could be wrong but I doubt this is a good time to try and sanitize the word.

Adam Brody's problem still dey for road them never pack am for storage yet. Same goes for the bitch thread in the other section.

Jeebus, you need to ease up.
What has moderating got to do with what I said? huh I thought you claim not to be female, why is the comment offensive to you? huh
Your comment was well stung and I said "biNch" so it doesn't sound offensive.
One will think I banned you or something. undecided
I know you must enjoy your banning powers but stick to the point.

I dont see anything in what I typed that warranted your aggressive response. If we were having a heated argument, then you're free to use whatever's in your arsenal of insults but in this instance, you had no valid reason to call anyone a bitch or binch anymore than you'd have been ok if I suddenly called you a witch out of the blue.

Dont know if you're getting my point but if not then we'll just have to see about your highness, wont we.

My fellow Nigerians, let's stop posting crap on Wikipedia.
People of a community want to be represented on the largest encyclopedia, they should make their entries according to the format with which others prior to them have worked.

People from Japan, Germany and Spain would talk about their environment, their history, sights to see, monuments, ancient rulers, foods and cultures, these people went there to be name-dropping: 'former governorship aspirant', 'first African to lift the world cup'. This is all rubbish.

Do you people even imagine how a Frenchman or a Brazilian would feel when he reads about the first African to lift the world cup coming from Anioma? Knowing full well that it was just some ceremonial lifting.
Please, we should be less petty on the internet and not trivialise our entire being in front of the whole world. Let's be more realist, mature, and above all, let the truth be told.
@ bolded

I wonder if some mischevious persons added that there- wouldnt put it beyond certain people on this site. I didnt see it before, when this thread started.

However, I checked and it seems he was the captain of the Nigerian team that won the 1985 Fifa Under 17 World Cup. If that's what the wiki entry meant to imply, then its a simple case of a grammer typo. One shouldnt automatically assume the poster actually meant to exaggerate though of course thats possible.

http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/fifafacts/mcu17/ip-206_01e_u-17nwe_14163.pdf

Just yesterday someone was pointing out a senator's bad grammer: "I opened CNN" et al. Its on a thread somewhere.

anyway, I've learnt to use other sources besides wiki thanks to nairalanders. Some people have midas touch which turns things to gold while others have the opposite which applies to some Naijas when it comes to wiki.

Oldest males are responsible, so wont that be a good thing?
I think all these depends on the individual.
In Nigeria, the concept of responsibility is taken to gargantuan heights.

I bow for those who date and marry oldest sons oh- its not easy, imo. But some women dont mind the challenge sha.

I think if you're easy going and an extremely social person, then oldest males are for you. But if you're not, and "selfishly" prefer to have your boyfriend all to yourself 70% of the time, maybe it wouldnt be advisable.

which part of lagos are you interested in, and do you have any plans for residency?

Fed jobs pay well and have good benefits although it may be tough getting in. I learnt some places actually placed a freeze on hiring.

I found this on the web (note- I'm not affiliated with the hospital and I've never been there)

OSHUNTUYI MEDICAL CENTRE

Head Office:
225, Iju Road, Balogun B/stop
Iju Ishaga, Agege
P.O.BOX 3397, Ikeja
Tel: 01-8913645, 08029442930

Obanikoro Branch:
9, Alhaji Salisu Street
Obanikoro, Lagos
Tel: 01-8914121, 08029442930

if they're not hiring at the moment, you can also ask the staff/doctors, if they know of places that are.

I doubt she's the only one generalizing.

Some women love being men's bitches.  And dont mind when they're called the same.

However, the men should find out which ones do and which ones dont, instead of the one size fits all mold some of them are trying to drum up.

If you call me that in real life, I consider it harrassment and will take any necessary measures allowed by law.

People without home training have to pick it up somewhere. Never too late to learn.

abeg make una no spoil show.

We're very happy to see an American (white one for that matter) deign to grace the shores of our nasty country.

It must be very inconvenient for him what with mosquitos, non existent power supply, bad roads, corrupt leaders and all.

At least now he has first hand experience of the suffering our people go through and he can go tell 'em over at headquarters or wherever.

We await our messiah.

I think it is a personal thing and depends on individual.
I am the only son in my house and never been a big deal dating.
well, imo.

I just dont do only sons and oldest males. cheesy They are normally the apples of someone's eye and personality wise I cant be struggling over the man every other day. With his relatives. Unless he's too cool then I might give it a shot.

Youngest males are manageable but tend to be rather spoilt. cheesy Fun though.
Fashion › Re: Fashion Face Off: Beyonce Vs Rihanna. by tpiah: 1:12pm On Jun 23, 2009
in fact, the original post clearly shows the thread's slant

Rihanna and Beyonce are two of the world's biggest A-list music stars even before a bloke named Jay Z saw them meeting eye to eye. Rihnna is the fresh faced Carribean girl with the American dream and supposedly pleasant personality.
Beyonce, meanwhile, has been in the limelight for most of her life. She's carved a niche for herself in the music industry with and without Jay's help and is managing to create a fashion following (which I think is crap by the way).
I should have noticed that.

Light-skinned people are not the cause of inferiority complex. Racist negro men who look down on themselves

and rush after lightskinned girls are the ones who create inferiority complex in dark-skinned women who are

subsequently made to feel inadequate. Lightskinned people are even discouraged from marrying each other so

that they can be sex objects of negros. How many lightskinned couples do you see around? Yur issue is about the

worship of yur own blackness Mr. Walata. The main problem is coerced whoredom, why should any lightskinned

woman be a LovePeddler of darkskinned negro or vice versa? Miscegenation is a serious problem if it used as a weapon

to deplete or dilute the blood of any community. Solution to this serious problem: Dont let negro touch my

lightskinned sister so you negro can be as FULL blooded and plentiful on earth as possible.
are you ok.

so you've never seen a light skinned Nigerian couple?

anyway, na the dark skinned worshippers of light skin you dey face sha. Nothing concern me.
