You well so? na your female family members you dey expose oh. 419er yahoo yahoo boy like you. Maybe you're the OP sef who knows. Na only winch you date? cat human nko? sweet dreams. ![]() |

Please note that fuel shortages often occur in Nigeria, so ensure you have enough petrol to complete your journey. Roads are in poor condition. Be vigilant when travelling on major roads, as robberies can, and do, happen. Avoid travel outside cities after dark. Be vigilant when driving in traffic jams (‘go slows’): keep valuable out of sights, and keep doors and windows lockedI still fail to see whats so extremely offensive about this travel advisory. The bolded especially is very good advice. |
Everyday when we talk, she tells me about all the guys that hit on her at work, where she eats, @ the salon. Everywhere she goes at least 2 guys must try to ask her out. Her toll is like 6 to 8 guys everyday. we always laugh at the guys together especially those with very poor pick up lines cos she told me there was nothing to worry about.this girl seems like an unrepentant flirt, imo. What exactly is your relationship based on? Do you enjoy the everyday jists of how many guys hit on her per day? And do the two of you ever talk about other things besides her "desirability" to others? ![]() Maybe you consider it a good thing sha, but the scenario as you described it here, doesnt look very realistic because you've had this latest incident coming for a long time now. A serious relationship should come with some sense of responsibility. I just dont see the point of daily stories about who's hitting on someone. |
edogram:thats nice. |
okay a woman can also get a man 2 do virtually anything just by flaunting her sexy body at him, that happens anywhere including Nigeria, as a matter of fact. Thats why they call the thing gold and diamond, because to most naija males, it actually is. More valuable than diamond sef. Na air and water, essentials of life. |
justybaby nice photo. ![]() |
anothny:thanks. I've checked out the news occasionally but it would be nice to watch it on tv as well. |

Just like you would never see a white person washing dishes in a New York City restaurant, you would probably never see a Yoruba cleaning drains in LagosI cant believe some Nigerians are still taking this guy seriously. But then again, I'm not surprised. So the Yorubas I saw cleaning drains and gutters in lagos, must have been from some other tribe? And there are no white dishwashers in any new york restaurant? why am I even responding on this thread. |
I singled Igbo's out because I originally made my comment to MUZBO and i associated his username with igbo. if it makes you feel better, reread my post and when you come across igbo replace it in your mind with edo, hausa, or what have you. lol yes. i've met indigenous yoruba people while I grew up there but they were very few and far between. keep in mind the original population of lagos was just about 300,000 less than two generations ago and now is over 12million from people pouring in from all over the country daily. even when I was in lagos, i never claimed to be lagosian. most will usually claim their parent's/ ancestors birthplaces for a sense of identity. but that doesn't mean they're not lagosians to everybody else. lol lagos is very multi ethnic and not really a yoruba state except in the traditional and historical sense. I hope you agree with me on that I think lagos is very welcoming of everyone. lol It wasn't me who made that comment you were referring to
what's your definition of a Yoruba state? Since when does being multi ethnic due to high immigration, mean somewhere isnt Yoruba? And what do you think is the exact percentage of non-Yorubas living in other Yoruba areas? I dont know if you're aware Lagos isnt the only Yoruba state that has a high population of non-Yorubas. There are very few places in Yorubaland without a large number of other tribes living there. i've met indigenous yoruba people while I grew up there but they were very few and far betweenI guess you stuck to the surburban or newer parts of lagos with mostly immigrant populations hence this statement. even when I was in lagos, i never claimed to be lagosianthat's not the fault of Lagos. And neither does it mean Lagos has suddenly turned non-Yoruba. You have your personal reasons for not wanting to be a lagosian- its not something anyone can force someone else to be. Most people residing in lagos can claim their parent's hometowns depending on how strong their connections are there but it still doesnt mean they dont say they're lagosians. keep in mind the original population of lagos was just about 300,000 less than two generations ago and now is over 12million from people pouring in from all over the country daily.what was the population of Nigeria itself two generations ago compared to now? |
samparian I know of at least two of the exact same scenarios you described here. Only in one case, the man was having an affair and in the other, the husband didnt say exactly what happened between him and his wife [she claimed there was some juju involved on his side]. now, while I'm not condoning this wife's behavior, there must be a reason why she's so vindictive and determined to show him. did he cheat on her and is yet to seek her forgiveness. She's obviously holding something against him unless you want to say she has a mental problem. |
interesting! uphill battle, however. Some would prefer the waste remain as it is. In plain view on the highways and gutters. |
Namibia is actually one of Africa's most stable and developed countries, according to wiki. Didnt know that before though Angelina Jolie's choice of the place when delivering her baby should have been a hint. It used to be administered by South Africa, under apartheid. the AIDs rate is extremely high though I dont know if its higher than Nigeria's. Namibian legislature and parliament gardens https://img197.imageshack.us/img197/8493/anamibia.jpg so I guess they can produce some pretty good quality shows of international standard. |
let me get this straight: the OP is saying the Niger Delta militants should start assassinating Nigeria's leaders (leave the corruption accusation for now- we all know once you become a leader, Nigerians will say you're corrupt regardless what you do. Not to mention the actual really corrupt ones are the people bankrolling many of these loudmouths). So after they kill off the leaders, what happens next? Same thing that happened prior to the civil war? and una dey abuse Lugard for saying una be like pikin wey no get sense? |
as long as its not Nigeria, anything fantastic is possible, in the Nigerian world view. if na naija, if the pilot even coughs during a flight, our people will start moaning and complaining. Saying the sky has fallen or else the bad leaders did something wrong again. then again, it could be the dead pilot's benevolent spirit landing the plane. ![]() kiyosaki1:indeed! |
I was born in lagos and grew up there. I see it as a multi ethnic state even though it's historically and traditionally yoruba. britain is till british and europe is still european. just as you can be a black british, you can be an igbo lagosian. you don't have to be yoruba to be from lagos. neither do you have to be blue eyed and blonde to be a swiss. people migrate, emigrate all the time and become part of their new location and even influence it.
so why are you singling out lagos as being only " historically" Yoruba but not ethnically Yoruba? would you say the same about kaduna and port harcourt when discussing their demographics? Igbos arent the only non-Yoruba ethnic group in lagos- why single them out for this discussion? there are also plenty of non-Nigerian lagosians, so its not only Nigerians who live there. I do wonder if you ever met any indigenous lagos citizens at all. Nobody is saying you have to be Yoruba if you're from lagos. To the best of my knowledge, its the non-Yorubas themselves who are insisting they're not lagosians due to regional nationalistic and tribal loyalty. so instead of castigating lagos because you feel it isnt welcoming non-yorubas, why not discuss with those saying they feel no affinity with lagos because they're from a non-Yoruba tribe. |
Obama asks men to be better fathers than their ownbeing a good father and partner starts years before you even think of settling down, imo. sad and sorry state of affairs is what we have today unfortunately. ![]() |
Note to the women: if you tolerate a husband that beats you, your sons will grow up to be wife-beaters. If you tolerate a domineering man, your boys will grow up to believe that women are inferior.gbam. |
sounds interesting. |
well, cant fault your presentation but the problem as usual is you have a lot of competition and besides, nairaland males in general need to rebrand their image. I know they'll try to be even worse now they're being called out but he who has ears to hear let him hear. I don talk my own. |
@muzbo, lagos is a multiethnic city. it is only a yoruba city in the traditional sense (i.e history etc)
have you ever been to Lagos? ![]() I dont understand when Lagos magically turned into a non-Yoruba city. Is Britain no longer British due to the presence of so many immigrants? Is Europe still European since the rest of the world is living there? the fact that many of the original Lagosians arent found in the newer neighborhoods doesnt mean they're extinct. but when they're showing pictures of trash heaps, gutters and slums, Lagos suddenly becomes Yoruba again. ![]() Even Switzerland is still Swiss, with ethnic Swiss despite the presence of many other nationalities there. |
spikedcylinder:true. However, at the same time she doesnt have to be the next Tina Turner. ![]() She has a great body, but should try and look more mellow, imo. |

List names and have the Brits outfit your armor for when the missiles start flying. Correct agbero ![]() wait a minute- I thought you dont do black and African women? |
