they have a kissing culture. They're being told to stop doing so in the interests of national safety.

Now, in a similar situation, would Nigerians be willing to drop some aspects of their own culture if its endangering to the public?

Most likely not- some would even attack the person sounding the alarm.

Huxley

I hope you noticed this response in the link you provided:

It is sad what this paper is trying to put across.I know Dr Fomum and his ministry.
First i want the writer to know that Christian misssionary fellowship is in about sixty countries and more popular in Yaounde the international Headquarters than North west and South west.

And he was fasting to see people like you save and Cameroon changed. He knew that things are not changed by the parliament but by prayers.

Secondly he never died in sleep.

Thirdly he broke the fast and died later.

His death is not necessarily connected to the fasting. He was still preaching. He preached in limbe,Bafoussam and Bamenda that weekend before later he died
.
note the bolded!

It doesnt mean it wasnt the fast that killed him, but why not check the autopsy results before assuming so.

ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO DIRECT THE QUESTION TO ME?

DO YOU KNOW IF HE WAS AWARE OF THE BURIAL OR NOT

OR DON'T YOU KNOW THE WAY DEEPER LIFE BEHAVES

ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT HE IS THE ONLY G O THAT DIDN'T ATTEND
no, I wasnt directing the question to you, or are you the only person allowed to post on this thread?

are you behaving better than deeper life with your needless aggression over a simple question which wasnt even meant for you?

ohla:
@poster, wer are you from, can you guys just enjoy life without over analysising it?, if we celebrate seasons , then why nt culture?and to the guy that stil has 9tmares of Eyo, am sure that not the only thingy in u long list of 9tmares, if sumtin harmless as Eyo can scare u dat easy, i havent seen Eyo in a long while and i have fond memos of it, Eyo is just like any other festival like New Yam Festival ,Arugungu to name a few. huh
hello- did I say Eyo was the masquerade I was referring to? It wasnt Eyo- it was one of those other ones.

Like I mentioned before, Eyo is milder compared to others.

Some masqueraders sef are more likely to get nightmares, if they know they'll be unmasked for unneccesarily oppressing others.

teissys:
@ tpiah, yeah Obama's tribe.
I can't just bring myself to touch them, let alone chew them. It feels like eating a housefly or coackroach, Eishhhhhhhhhhh. . . .
they taste like crunchy savory "biscuits" when roasted wink Dont know how to describe the tangy flavor.

However, I can understand the unattractiveness for people who werent exposed to such things when younger.

When I go home I'll still eat some though- very nice taste. Catching them is part of the fun too.
