question is why should be asking HIm for forgiveness? She (stupidly) told him something about her past, what's the asking for forgiveness for?

Is he God? huh

Forgiveness is between her, her God and maybe the person who caused the situation. Wetin concern new dude with forgiveness, it's all whether or not he's willing to accept what happen. Dont see why she needs his forgiveness or why he should feel he should forgive her. for what? did she commit it against YOU? huh
the woman was naive, unfortunately.

If you want to detox, just blend efirin with bitter leaf. Boil it and add all the ingredients you want to - fish, spices etc.

Drink it for 3 days and watch as you develop a good relationship with your toilet. You'll feel lighter than air afterwards.
I'm sure I've had this before. Isnt it the recipe for pepper soup? though maybe without the bitter leaf sha. but it still sounds familiar.

May be the instruction given to her from her baba who gave her the love portion is for her to make sure hussy eat from the food first ,
if the woman is "jazzing" her husband, wouldnt that be more effective if she set his food aside before putting it in? Think about that.

@ topic:

aside from showing her guy respect, I think what she's trying to do is also have a family dinner time- a chance for the whole family to bond together.

The major problem is if the other members of the household get hungry while waiting.

epi:
Tpiah, The pics you posted are soft chocolate chip cookies. The cookie (my pic) is "spread". Remember cookies come in different size, shape, flavor and texture.

There are four ways you can bake your cookies

Crispness
Softness (under baking/more liquid in the mix) Your pics.
Chewiness
Spread (my pic) well done/baked

Softness

Basic traits: -

Under baking - Hence the chocolate (visible) don't melt and they don't spread too much
High proportion of liquid
Low sugar and fat
usually done thick to retain more moisture

The third pic you posted (a bit crumbly), all depend on the "whipping" (improper mixing) although it can be too much sugar, too much shortening (we call it lard) too much baking powder or baking soda.

Underbaking them slightly (3 min) should do the trick.. Oh yea, don't leave them to cool on the stove top

Much love
thanks wink

Oh yea, don't leave them to cool on the stove top
I've actually been doing this cool But I'll stop now.

sage:
somebody called Nigerians living in western countries house negros.

Its funny considering that Nigerians living in Nigeria dont have any rights. You can get killed in broad day light by the government, police, soilders, gangs, thieves, ethnic youths etc and thats it. You can just get arrested and totured 2 death just because a rich person wants it that way. You can get whipped in the streets for no reason.

This incident is shocking but the reaction of Nigerians is more shocking. Crying, cursing and asking God 2 send down fire and brimstone will NOT bring about law and order in Nigeria.
Naija-----The saga continues

that's why blacks are said to be emotional.

Some call that a racist depiction.

@ Phemour
Asking that question is like a white Polish citizen asking what [s]he can get from Europe, because his/her country falls within the European continent. Simply, don't expect anything just because you're African. Don't expect anything from Africa as a whole. Expect something from Nigeria instead, since you are Nigerian. Better yet, expect something from your native state (if you live there), or which ever state you happen to live now.
@ bolded

an EU passport and international respect as a member of the European Union? Plus any attendant benefits that come with that?

ok now imagine you are carrying your baby and some one just come after looking at you and ask are you the father of that baby, my friend what will come to your mind?,and again you looking at the baby you cant see one or 2 thing about yourself, any way i will do the DNA, and found out, cos you dont expect me to catch them redhanded before i will have evidence or do you?, thanx once again for the adivice.
by all means do the DNA test.

But seriously, you're suspecting your wife of cheating just because you think the baby doesnt look like you?

huh huh

Once again, have you checked your family lineage to see if the baby looks like someone on either your wife's or your own side.

If all you're basing your accusations on are the baby's looks and not any other solid evidence of cheating, then that's very unfair to your wife.

However, go ahead and do the testing.

AMAKAONE:
Just about any dessert can be baked on the grill in the same amount of time it would take in a conventional oven.

Just follow these simple tips:

To duplicate an oven-like atomsphere in your grill, prepare the grill for indirect heating .

To maintain an even and constant air flow, place two bricks at least 4" apart on top of the grill rack before heating.

Once the grill has reached the desired temperature, rest cake pan on top of the bricks.

Keep the grill cover down to prevent releasing most of the hot air, or allowing cool air to rush in.

If you don't, your cake won't rise as high as it should.

Do a check for doneness only during the last 15 minutes of the baking time.
do you know about the sand method?

You can also bake with sand- spread clean sand on the bottom of the pot, heat it thoroughly on a stove then place the baking tin with the cake mixture in the pot and cover it.

The covered pot then works exactly like an oven, although its preferable to use a big one or a large casserole dish.

Some of my friends showed me this in Nigeria and the cakes turned out perfectly well. Of course its a given that the sand musnt mix with the food or else the cake is gone.

Nothing beats an oven for convenience though.
Health › Re: What Deodorant Are You Wearing Now And Which Can You Recommend? by tpiah: 7:25am On Apr 30, 2009
you could be laying it on too thick.

Have you tried the spray ons? Though they're probably depleting the ozone layer but still worth a try.

Gels could also be good- I stopped using them because I was getting a reaction but not everyone does.

If you're ok with it, Almay gel seems to work well from some customer reviews I saw. I do like the gels- my only problem is the one I just mentioned.

There's a "lotion/cream" deodorant which you apply with your fingers like regular vaseline. I've never tried those however.

Its either people are no longer using Deodorants and only perfumes or NLs stopped using deodorants
lol we use a combination of deodorants and/or dusting powder nah grin grin

Travel › Re: Why Can't Nigeria Be Like Ghana? by tpiah: 3:56am On Apr 30, 2009
this is a very interesting assertion

Nigeria was created by the British to 'fail', if it wasn't, why combine so many major different ethnic groups into one country.
pre 1914 or pre Berlin Conference

to the left of the British territory:  French/German holdings and allegiance

To the right: German/French holdings and allegiance.

North: French and francophone

South: atlantic ocean

what were they supposed to do? All the land in between had been captured or subdued by the British.

Partition the regions and give them over to the French and Germans to handle? huh

and no need to start sobbing over the loss of indigenous sovereignty in tribal strongholds plz. Lets study the cold facts!
