CruiseControl:
They know they made this phones only for Africans!! A continent of consumers with nothing meaningful to add to the universe. Otherwise what explains a continent of poverty headquarters being the region with the most people that wants to live larger than life itself?

Tell me, what is a Nigerian doing with a phone of 12 RAM and 512 GB space? I remember a fish brain girl in my estate that bought the samsung A30 for 75k then. This is a phone with 64GB Memory and am certain she is not using up to 5 gb of the memory. Within some weeks or so, they released the A80 with about 128 GB memory. Guess what this girl did? She bought it! When I asked her why? She said that the A80 has bigger memory and its the latest! I was like wow. So because of this, you coughed out 218k to upgrade? If I add it to 75k,bis that not approximately 300k? How much is 2 plots of land in Mowe again?

Most Nigerians you see buying all these techs dont use 1/100 of the phones functionalities. They only buy it to feel among and oppress there neighbours! In simple terms.. They only do it for clout amd notice me...

Gerrarahia Mehn. Ndia Ala... A continent of mad people.
This is exactly why I don't buy what I don't need. Buying my current phone took me time to figure out why I need else, I'd be wasting resources I could have used to help someone in need if I don't have any use for it.
Seriously, Africans and Nigerians especially need to stop this consumer mentality and be productive for once. Why buy something with features that are even beyond your comprehension.

PoliticsRe: Bayelsa Lands Not For RUGA, But Investment – Dickson by traihit: 8:23pm On Aug 07, 2019
Is it that nobody is reading the part where he's giving lands to former political leaders? These people are very rich already. Why give them the land that is not even sufficient enough for the poor citizens to buy cheaply?

Is this not a way of 'Rugalising' Bayelsa state? Why do these governors think like this?

Seriously the political class don't see the lower classes as humans though they were brought in by the citizens.

The Good Ol' days....

What a Beautiful Country.

The time will live as brothers and sisters, before, religion, tribalism and the corrupt and evil politicians separated 'them'!

Nigeria will be great again in our lifetime!

#PositiveVibesOnly
We've been sitting on positive vibes for so long it became bombs scattering us in kidnapping, unemployment and every bad thing that befalls country. We need good leadership. A good leader who is not a leader of his tribe but a leader of a country. A leader that will give us assurance Nigeria will be better and thus, the citizenry will become more committed. Not a leader that keeps dividing us.

The deeper life girl: you are not what I pray God for, although you are a good man but you are not spirit-filled. You cannot speak in tongues, you can't scabadash. How many tongues can you speak in. Wow, I can't even consider you since you are not a church worker thus you have not dedicated your life to Christ. Even I must hear from God first . God will speak to me if I will marry you.

Conclusion : so spirit of Anthony Joshua can enter the pastor too. I that am a moralist I can't slap my concubine let alone my wife...
Your morality doesn't insure you from beating a woman just as the man's spirituality didn't insure him from being a habitual wife beater. Men need a high level of self control as the number prerequisite to live with a woman aa his wife. Whether you are religious or not, without self control, you're going to be a serial wife beater.

Another IPOB has come for my head. the only language they understand is secession as if they will be able to stay on their own.
No country stays exclusively on their own and for the records, I'm not an Ipobian. Meanwhile, stop deceiving yourself Mr. OneNigeria. If Nigeria will really move forward, we'll need to renegotiate all this supremacy of one ethnic group over another.

No need 'ipobing' him. It's either the country is divided or it's unity renegotiated. One of the two will still happen whether you want it or not.
PoliticsRe: IBB Condemns Revolution, Says Nigeria Difficult To Govern by traihit: 1:41pm On Aug 07, 2019
Nigeria is difficult to govern because personalities like him and his northern relatives alongside some southern thieves keep raping Nigeria of its resources just for themselves and their families.

The only reason we know Nigeria is rich is because of the looted billions in dollars and nairas that we keep hearing about.

Perhaps Sowore is playing a game only he understands because as an intelligent individual, some of these events would have been calculated by him especially with the antecedent of Ipobs.
Therefore, while the protest is on good grounds, anyone choosing to participate must be extremely careful. If Nigeria stop existing as an entity, it'd keep existing as a geographical setup. Your life is worth more.

You sound like the brain behind the idea itself. Since the days Nigerians have been bringing sacrifices to the table, what testimony do they have except loss of jobs, infoatinf, unemployment, bad roads and all sorts of security challenges. Now you think this VAT will take all that away instead of making the pockets of our politicians bigger.

first and foremost I would to thank you for good reason you might not know if which is you not insulting me nor haul missiles of curse and abuse on me. I really, I respect your decency.
well on the issue I clearly do understand what we are passing through but the truth is any act or action should be on our terms not the west.
Libya was better off a nation before the united state went in but today it remain a chaotic with no end in sight. all they wanted was an end Gaddafi reign not the peace of that nation.
the aftermath of the civil war is where we today. all we thought then was it will strengthen the nation but the cold war rages on even fifth sixth generation we don't know when it would end.
June 12 still lingers still we are not out of the destabilization it left. I'm not say I'm comfortable with our current state but if we want to kill ourselves to get it right it should be we Nigerians dictating the pace not some western influence seizing the opportunity to destabilize to be in control.
I clearly understand your logic and that's what I used to follow but there's no sign the country will change for the better. The only sign is Fulani people taking lands all over Nigeria (I've seen firsthand cases of this in my own state).
If we keep having these set of leaders where a region is above every region even though the said region is still backward, then there is no hope for our soaring population.
As for your first paragraph, I typed everything in anger that's why my post even sounded that way. I don't insult people only for any reason especially proving my points.

in as much as we want things done in our country it be on our own terms, not on the terms of the international community.
not some few that are on the payroll if amnesty international leading a call-out while there family are hiding away somewhere.
Nigerians should remember the invasion of the arab spring, Libya today is a worse state compare to when Gaddafi was ruling but those that erupted the hellish volcano of turmoil has gone home clanging glass of wine.
Why then should anybody complain that this country is bad when we don't want the country to go the way of Libya? Already people are getting kidnapped in broad daylight on our major expressways, terrorism is not relenting, herdsmen are the new landlords almost every where in the country, cultism, nepotism, corruption and so on are not stopping. Is this how Libya was before the international community comes in? If not, why should we compare ourselves to Libya when Nigerians are already running away from the country?
Lastly, has Amnesty International ever force anything on the Nigerian political system before with the Nigerian Government notorious for it's disobedience to the rule of law as laid down by courts?

Lack of foresight made the SW to vote in this evil regime just to please Tinubu & Osinbajo. Now things are terribly bad but the same SW can't condemn the evil still because of 2023 ambition. Sowore has been arrested and will be paid off and released after few days. Watch out!
Nnamdi Kanu was offered so much money, including an oil well through SE governors but he opted for freedom for his people on an empty stomach. With all of these from the SW, can the foresighted SE & SS join in Sowore's revolution? Answer the question yourself!
So it is the Southwest that voted in this administration right? The administration before this, where corruption was being celebrated every where, who voted for it? South-East right?
When are we going to drop all these sentiments and keep silence if we don't have anything progressive to say? Nigeria is on fire and it doesn't matter which region voted for this administration, we've always been on fire because of the system we're practicing. Don't you get it?
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram: 10 Years After, UN Seeks More Intervention by traihit: 6:09am On Aug 02, 2019
One of the reasons the North will find it difficult to develop is their love for free things, free intervention, free resources etc. When a region thinks it is gaining through local and international intervention, they'll be too lazy to put their heads together and develop their region.
Despite all these interventions, there is little difference from what they used to be and what they presently are. Unless their is a big ideological change in their leadership pattern down to every man on the street, even without Boko Haram, the North will still be backward though there are interventions.
This is why they'll do anything to keep their entanglement to the South.

It is because your political sphere is not as competitive.
Other sectors get the best of the best but not the politics.

If our politics was ranked like our entertainment industry, the last two candidates in 2019 with the least number of votes should be buhari and atiku.
What could be the reasons for this and how can Nigeria ensure that it is people of great intellectual pedigree that gets to participate in elections? How do we ensure that our democracy is not left to the dogs to compete?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Buries Soldiers At Night In Secret Cemetery - Wall Street Journal by traihit: 10:15am On Aug 01, 2019
Does the story sound so strange to be true only the West could have sounded it to you? Are we blind to how much of funds meant for security is being embezzled while our soldiers are getting killed by the day? Should we wait till terrorism spreads to every nook and cranny of the country to confirm what the West is saying? How long should we keep getting fed by the lies our leaders keep telling us though they keep showing their unseriousness to terrorism? Is this the Nigeria of your dream like Libya when Ghaddafi was still alive?

Litmus:
WEST! They have started again. Always pressing Restive causing buttons. Since Africans take their words as though from God, they do have us by the blokos all the time. They don't always have to destroy any African nation that take thire fancy by hard means such as secretly funding a coup or supporting insurrectionists, they have so many leverage, from economic ones, to being in control of our youths through the selling of Western lifestyles, to media, to telling us what we want to hear especially if what we want to hear agravates existing tensions. Mischief makers want to hear that Bokoharam is kicking Nigeria military ass and that military is hiding one thing or another in order to hide the fact and in short time the West is there to support those claims. It's like Nigeria's missing stolen Billions. Where are our stolen Billions if not thrillions?? They in the West knew full well that embezzling past leaders like Abatcha never actually stole the sums that Nigerians, in our typical ways of exaggerating for effect, claim they stole, but they supported anyway, even adding salt and pepper of thire own. But now the chicken has come home to roost and they are being asked by Nigeria to return our Billions. Where is all the money!? They can't cough up because no such huge some were stashed abroad in the first place.
TV/MoviesRe: French Media Giant, Canal+, Acquires Leading Nollywood Film Studio- ROK TV by traihit: 9:58am On Aug 01, 2019
Some people say population is our problem. Yet, they forget that in our population resides our drive and motivation to succeed and this is why Nigerians always thrive to be exceptional. Only if our political sphere is good enough.

davibid:

...

Sometimes I wonder how well Nigeria would have been if only our leaders would create that enabling environment for us because regardless of all the hurdles we face we remain a force to be reckoned with in so many areas.

Nice one!

Nigeria will be great someday!

The other time he was citing SpaceX, Microsoft etc as examples of legacies to leave for one's children. Yet, he failed to remember that those who built those corporations did so through prudent spending, they invested their own money first before their corporations started getting investors. I don't know why it's so difficult to remember all the celebs that have gone bankrupt through thinking like this why people like Trump turn their few millions into billions.
