He refurbished and even built new rail lines to ease transportation and improve the economy yet he DID NOT DO ANYTHING. He built turbines and hydro power stations they still say HE DID NOT DO ANYTHING. He gave scholarships to smart and indigent stutents purely on merit they still shout very loud he DID NOT DO ANYTHING. He refurbished most federal roads and constructed new ones to also ease transportations and HE DID NOT DO ANYTHING. He drastically reformed agriculture and made it easier for farmers to improve their lot they still say he DID NOT DO ANYTHING. He reformed the power sector the way no past administration has done to the extent that there is hope for regular power suply in no distant time and the accusation is HE DID NOT DO ANYTHING. He did so many things which time will not permit me to mention here and they remain blinded by sentiments and ignorance to say HE DID NOT DO ANYTHING. I guess to them when he will do something is the day he starts wearing babariga and agbada with gworro in his mouth all the time. Obama and other world leaders can only visit anywhere if the security report about their safety is positive and GEJ is no exception. If Soludo is basing his argument on facts as you claim, why can't he be more specific as to what happened to the money? You think the Nigerian economy will not collapse with this amount of money stolen in the last four years? Muhammadu Buhari is only being questioned based on what he claimed as his qualification to contest for the election. We all know what the constitution says. He should have claimed that the qualification he has is his over 10 years of public service no problem with that but in his form he wrote that he has WASC which is with the Nigerian army And if it is found that he never even had the WASC at all it then means all along he was an imposter in the army and was never commissioned . What the court will do is to strip him of his rank andhe will appropriately become Mr, Mallam, Sheik, Alhaji or Mullah Muhhamadu Buhari but certainly not Major General.

You are wrong bro. The main fact that earned Salisu Buhari a conviction was because he lied in an affidavit claiming a false age. His fake certificate was an additional crime.

Muhammadu Buhari lied in an affidavit that his WASC certificate was with the army even when he knew he never submitted one but a recommendation letter from his principal stating that HE WILL PASS HIS WASC when he was joining the army.

Politics wise (maybe even rough politics), Wike trounces Ajumogobia. But for the greater good of Rivers, for putting competent people with integrity, I'm sure you admit Ajumogobia is better. And I think that should have been more important to the PDP. I'm non-partisan. I just look out for where the good and competent folks are. Well parties consider so many factors in chosing a candidate but most importantly is a candidate that can deliver or win for them. APC would not pick Buhari for president if its based on competence and integrity alone but because many northerners will vote for him simply because he is from the north.

Like I said Ajumogobia is a likeable personality and also intelligent but personally I like seeing ones performance before judging. The reason is that Peter Odili, is arguably the most brilliant and intelligent governor that state has produced so far but he is also the worst in terms of performance. It was even Odili that brought Ajumogobia to prominence when he brought him from Lagos to be his Attorney General and later moved him to Abuja as minister.

Ajumogobia would have been better but then can he lead the fight? A lot of people dont like the idea of Wike but imagine the position PDP would have been in the state if Wike was a 'gentle and quiet' technocrat apart from the fact that there is a language Amaechi understands which is gragra and intimidation and Wike seem the one at the moment ready and able to get into the gutter with him.

The upland (Ndoni 8 years, Ikwerre 8 years) have ruled the state for 16 years now but my understanding is that Jonathan needed a strong personality from Ikwerre/upland that will rally support for him and make it difficult for Amaechi to turn the politics into upland versus riverine fight and then creating a greater possibility ofJonathan loosing the state which will be very disastrous. The riverine Ijaw will always support him as per Ijaw but Amaechi can easily turn the other non Ijaw tribes to the opposition so they need some incentives and I think thats part of the reason for recent ministerial appointment for Keneth Kobani, an Ogoni man from a promient family to also neutralise the influence of Magnus Abe in that axis.

She is not overrated. Charles Soludo is not her match except in crookedness and deception. She could stay in her fathers house and earn a PhD the same quality as Soludo because her father Prof. Okonjo taught Soludo in UNN up to PhD level. It was this her father that introduced Soludo to her before she lobbied Obasanjo to bring him into his government. Soludo thinks of nobody or anything but Soludo. Full of himself and an ingrate. For him, anything that he could not take credit for, must not succeed. Read carefully what he wrote here and you'll see that the more you look the less you see. He is no match to NOI intellectually and in character. The same way he was fighting and trying to run down his sister inlaw Dora Akunyili until she died.

It'll be grossly unfair to put all the blame on GEJ but some has to be assigned to him as it seems like he hasn't helped. As far as I know, GEJ hasn't come out in clear words to condemn utterances like those.
