The registrar provided a logical answer to my question by his deposition. Registrar said Replacement diplomas are issued by third parties, whom he doesn't know or have any business with.

That explains the shoddy work. The replacement diploma did not originate from the school, and almost certainly had to have been re-issued after 1997, and not 1997 as claimed.

That settles it.

The problem is the person/people you say backdated it were not around to do so in June 27, 1997 when it was said that the certificate was re-issued.

To make it simpler, if the re-issue date was sometime in 1998/1999 or other years later than 1998 when Elnora was on ground and responsible for doing so, we can see how backdating is feasible. What I am saying is backdating to actual grad date is understandable (ie 1979), but backdating to when the signatory was not even available to do so, I no understand that one.

but there are no 1997 samples with Elnora Daniels as a signatory. Only samples that had Elnora as a signatory were samples dated 1998 and 1999. I looked at those samples more than once.

Also doesn't issued and collected go hand in hand? If something was said to be issued in 1997 doesn't that mean it is signed off and ready to go, or even already handed off? I would think if a cert or anything is issued it means it is done with, signed off and ready to go.

The American spelling of the word is H-O-N-O-R-S so why would an American University have used a foreign spelling on a certificate? Also in America, we use the phrase Summa Cum Laude, etc. in higher education instead of ‘First Class’ or ‘With Honors’. This guy is telling Nigerians that an American University is misspelling words/using UK spellings and phrases and they believe him.

you have spoken my mind. I don't like dabbling into this topic, but as you said I have recognized for years that I am not under any law to give tithe. I am joyous and happy to have the grace to give willingly to kingdom work sha. So if most Christians still tag theirs tithe, I don't bother myself cos e no concern me. To add, there was money back then (silver etc) but there was no specific emphasis/instruction about tithing money. When money was mentioned, it was for a person to use it to exchange it for the stuff/items if such items are too much to carry for the distance to travel, and even then you are supposed to once again exchange that money to buy 'stuff' when you get to the destination, and at the destination sef the instruction is eat it and rejoice. If you read the description, it was like an annual festival/ritual of sorts. This is the simple documented truth. And as you said there were several other laws just as the tithing law, all of which we no longer are under as reborn Christians, so tithing as a concept is in effect similarly obsolete. But to each his own.

Ps: If you have a discerning spirit and you are attending a church led by a pastor-preneur, you would know. At least that has been my experience.

Sacrificing your career to homeschool one or two kids is not living. It will adversely affect the economy. A teacher teaches up to fifty kids or more a day in different classes and if it is a class teacher, it can be twenty permanently, if a high school teacher, it needs specialization and one teacher will teach several classes a day. Therefore a parent teaching only one kid is a drain on the economy, a waste of human resources. What are you afraid of?. A child needs also to mix with other kids in a community of kids as it is part of growth and development and no one parent can teach all high school subjects efficiently especially in the sciences but also others. Let your kid go and return everyday since you pay tax too and if there is a good boarding school it is also okay since it is a community too and whatever is agreed to be taught to kids by the majority should be acceptable because majority carries the vote

Njambert, it would interest you to know that when I saw your post and the research/planning you have done on this homeschooling concept amongst like minded families, I was very encouraged, and infact shared the posts with my wife. A very lovely and practical concept. We need to protect our kids and raise them well as they are our real legacy, and the whole point of all the sacrifices we have made and still make. Indeed, we can have it all, with God's grace and direction.
