What's the difference between both 60A Powmr CC.? I can see that one is Pro and the other isn't.

In addition to what the poster said.

1. The cooling fan model may have a slight humm when cranked up fully and any hindrances to air flow will cause quick heat build-up and over temp protection will kick in. Personally I have, for test purposes cranked it up to it's max current (55A plus) and noticed the cooling fan isn't enough to cool it down. I had to use an external fan to assist.
Good thing is that it's over temp protection works everytime. wink

2. The other model doesn't use a cooling fan and so is totally quiet, and more suitable for indoor installation.

3. From personal experience, the cooling fan model does a better MPPT tracking than the other model, but both are confirmed MPPT charge controllers.

5000w 24v is available, but for personal use for Nairalander. If you can do 130k, then I will seek his consent to sell to you

3rd picture shows how it compares with the 3000w in size. It is very big. I am quite sure it can carry an inverter AC.

ojeysky:
You size based on daily commutative assumptions; a typical PV of good quality that is properly setup should produce at least 3x of it's name plate daily so long as there is demand and sunlight is good. So if I have 2kw PV, I expect that I will get 6kwh daily +/- you can then use that to determine if that is sufficient to charge your battery and power your load.

Nice, thanks for your input. Is this 3x assumption relative to location? Or a rule of thumb irrespective of?

What's the anticipated watt-hour this System is supposed to supply daily? I've always been intrigued to know how installers size PV for installations, given it's unstableness.

HOW IT ENDED..

So after many back and forth and considerations, I had to concede to this seller to a 60/40 refund. I forfeited #76,000 of my money, and he took custody of the TVs. He paid the money in three instalments with me having to cajole and remind him about it in a space of about 1month. (I really hated to have to remind him about it.)

So I'm 76K SHORT WITH NO TV.

I have counted my losses and relative gains, shrugged off the feelings of loss as much as possible.

Will I RECOMMEND SELLER TO MY ENEMY, HELL NO!
.
.
.
Looking at the positives; from the escalation of this issue here, someone contacted me for a solar installation deal that I made some small profit from, and the client is also enjoying his installation. Client was going to commit funds to seller for a TV but this escalation made him rethink his decision. Now he is enjoying value for his hard earned money (see pic 2)

Na God use that one console me.

I have reverted back to my projector that has not disappointed me both before and after the whole TV problem (see attached pic). I'm still using same inverter, surge, and power supply that the seller said probably damaged his TVs. Infact I have added an AC to my inverter and it powers it with no problem

My experts in the House. I greet you all for all the enlightening may the Lord increase you.
Please i need a help. A client wants to setup an inverter and Solar system in his Pure water factory that will carry the following loads.
1. Sachet printing water packaging machine. According to the client the machine is 3pcs and each of the power input of the machine is 3kva X 3 and it will run for 8hrs daily.
2. 1hp pumping machine (Sumo) will go off once the tanks are full.
3. Lighting points for night

Please i need an advice on what system will work for this project perfectly.
1. Inverter capacity
2. Battery bank
3. PV capacity.
I will also like to learn all the calculations. Thanks in anticipation

Chief, this your question get as e be. It seems you want to go DIY without paying the price of reading up. If you want an installer to handle it for you then contact solid hands here that will deliver the job, otherwise all the information you need to set up your system is available here but you gats read up.... At worst, read to a certain extent so your questions or clarifications are more specific and can be answered easily.

Just an advice.
