I later did some troubleshooting about this issue and I discovered this only occur when the solar panels are connected. If i turn of the solar breaker this series issue doesn't occur, but when i turn it on back it occur again.
The inverter is an Hybrid inverter so the solar is connected to it.
I can't say the power coming from the solar is too much cos they are just 3* 300w 36v solar panels.
I've tried contacting the technician at SMS sunmate inverter, I'm yet to get a positive feedback from them. The only solution i have at hand now is to result to an external charge controller which is something I don't wanna do. But it's looking like i don't have much choice here.

I Just got my "POWMR" CC yesterday.
I have a 100ah battery connected to 24v pv and a pmw CC.
With a Ups connected connected to the load port of pmw.

But the new POWMR 60a said I should not connect inverter to the cc, that it can damage the Cc. Is it right?

HOW IT ENDED..

So after many back and forth and considerations, I had to concede to this seller to a 60/40 refund. I forfeited #76,000 of my money, and he took custody of the TVs. He paid the money in three instalments with me having to cajole and remind him about it in a space of about 1month. (I really hated to have to remind him about it.)

So I'm 76K SHORT WITH NO TV.

I have counted my losses and relative gains, shrugged off the feelings of loss as much as possible.

Will I RECOMMEND SELLER TO MY ENEMY, HELL NO!

Looking at the positives; from the escalation of this issue here, someone contacted me for a solar installation deal that I made some small profit from, and the client is also enjoying his installation. Client was going to commit funds to seller for a TV but this escalation made him rethink his decision. Now he is enjoying value for his hard earned money (see pic 2)

Na God use that one console me.

I have reverted back to my projector that has not disappointed me both before and after the whole TV problem (see attached pic). I'm still using same inverter, surge, and power supply that the seller said probably damaged his TVs. Infact I have added an AC to my inverter and it powers it with no problem

Hello house,

I tracked down a wire burning smell to the electrical plug adaptor that my inverter is charged by the mains.

I then touched it, and it was hot so hot it could burn if the fingers were left there for a considerable length of time.

What is the best way to resolve this issue?

Additional point: The wire itself is not hot, it is just the plug adaptor that is hot

You all have advised me to get a transformer based inverter as replacement.

On a second thought, I'm thinking of upgrading my setup too.

My current setup:
1. Ipower 3kva hybrid inverter (now damaged) but I'm presently using my backup 2kva ipower Hybrid inverter.
2. 60A ipower MPPT CC with solar max voltage of 145 Vdc
3. 2 GSR G250 tubular batteries (maybe 200ah or 250ah, I'm not sure). But it's a 24v setup
4. 4 300W mono solar panels

I have a slight issue though. Due to the position of my house and the roof design, I observed that the sun is usually on the opposite side of the panels any time after 1 pm. So, the charging rate is usually low during this period.

1. How do I resolve this issue?
2. Please recommend a medium level upgrade to this current setup. I'll appreciate if it can power my 1hp Home water pump, not necessary though (I don't know the power rating).
3. Recommending tested and trusted brands is also highly appreciated.
4. Additional information or advice

Please note, I'm completely off grid.

if I were you, I wouldn't rest till I have had an understanding of HOW. it doesn't hurt to peep you know.

Would have said it's AirTight, but we know say being TRANSFORMERless, meant it contains lots of MOSFETs and Transistsors, etc and those would have HeatSinks. Even if na Transformer based sef, it still can't be airTight.

If na splashes, that's not much an issue BUT submerged, hmm I...

When the guy you quoted went full throttle, I was almost tempted to disclose that I once into networking. Until I discovered that true money does not lie in that part of IT and changed gears and thank God I did.

flooded batteries still emit gases, however because the average installer in clueless and inept, they usually don't program the inverter properly, so the inverter ends up sending suboptimal voltages to the battery.
flooded battery usually requires 14.5v to 14.8v for proper charging and 15.5v every 4hrs monthly. the battery will usually release gases/fumes during this equalization cos of the higher voltages sent to the battery. most un programmed inverters send only about 13.8v to 14.3v , this voltage is too low to produce any serious fumes/gases, and they also don't equalize----with this you see some flooded battery users saying they only top up water once a year , very very wrong, and such practise is irreversibly damaging the battery

Especially that LG, Getting original LG tv is like looking for gold among stones. My mum bought fake, i got fake for my parent in law. I was able to get original. The difference between original and fake is like night and day in picture/video quality.
Anything LG, just go to Foani or any of there accredited sellers, that's the only 100% guarantee of getting original, anything apart from this, you might joyfully be hugging a fake home.
