@Logic Mind: I thought IBO is the people and Igbo is our language.
Please, correct me if i am wrong but in a civil manner. Thanks!
Please, i did not struggle for a visa. I am a true citizen, though dual but far more attached to my 9ja-Ibo heritage. I schooled in Nigeria (university), but work here and still pay my tax in my beloved Nigeria cos i also run an outfit in Abuja.
My wife is from Onitsha (Umu-Aroli), my closes pal back home is from Atani, hence i am sort of particular about the acceptance issue. Grab?
GOD bless us all!

Onlytruth:

You mean the Onitsha and Ogbaru axis that is the HEARTBEAT of Igbo investment? Tell me which Igbo does not own one thing or the other in Onitsha. And we are investing more and more because soon Onitsha will be the center of commerce and investment in Africa, thanks to COLLECTIVE IGBO spirit and investment.
Onitsha is OUR HOME! Stop trying to sell us lies here you goat!
Go to the North or West or whereever you want after Nigeria divides. We shall have international airport and seaport at Onitsha/Ogbaru axis and make it the area that brings pride to Africa.

The US and Canada are two separate countries, but their people simply stroll across the borders for weekend parties and events, it didn't force them into one country.
If the number of dead Igbo in Nigeria is not enough for you, maybe the next death should come to your family.
Selfish goat. angry

Why the insults? You can pass your comment or disapproval of mine with more mature words. Well, i take it that you are angry. You should be, but not towards me. I feel pained, very pained on the careless, mindless and wicked death our brothers and sisters suffered up north. But splitting will certainly not bring them back. I believe the GOOD LORD has handled their case (i'm really finding it difficult putting my words together on this senseless killing issue).
However, when i talked about our Onitsha-Ogbaru axis. I was refering to them as a people not the land. Ofcourse their land is good for investment but are the people accepted as true Ibos? Let alone the spills in Delta, Rivers and Cross River. Will they not be discriminated against when it comes to the IGBO as a nation thing? Thats my question, let's be sincere, please.
You can educate me without negative palatives. Thanks!

you sound like a descendant of saboteurs

Firstly, i wouldn't fight you about GOD cause HE is capable of doing that HIMSELF.
So because i choose PEACE against war you label me a saboteur? Can you imagine that? Here in Hull City, i have Nigerian friends who are from the north and west, we are like brothers and sister (a female). My dear, i can not afford to go visit them seeking a visa when your so-called division happens.
Truly, we really have to grow above this issue of division and move on as an entity to achieve greatness. Even after the Biafra stuff some of us will claim to be more Ibo than others. Discrimination will come against the Onitsha and Ogbaru people of Anambra. Na lie? So please bros leave Biafra where it is in Atlantic ocean (BIGHT OF BIAFRA). Abi is Biafra an Ibo word?
Nigeria's enemy is the hydra headed CORRUPTION which is prevalent in all tribes and creed in our fatherland.
9ja for live! There's no place like home (NIGERIA).

Logic Mind:

If you knew how many british people gave their life so that your britain is what it is today, you will crawl back in shame to your hole.

Mr. Logic Mind, i will not crawl back in shame. I am first and foremost a Nigerian before any nationality and i am very very proud of my heritage. I am Ibo and will never exchange it for any.
The British, be it the Welch, Scot, Irish or English have fought their wars and have thrown it into history and moved on. We (Nigerians) have had our share of the heroics and should let it be history and move on. We should not have two pit falls, that will be grossly stup¡d of us and i know we are not a stup¡p nation.
You think its only Nigeria that has ethnic problems? The British do also. The English feel superior to the other isles and the Irish are a very proud set and love their accent. The Scot still leave in the past of their bravery, but guess what? Its all back firing against them cause outsiders are ruling over them now. The present Prime Minister is of Swis decent and over half of his cabinet are immigrant-born from other European countries.
We should never allow our differences defeat us. It should be our strength!
9ja forever! (Anyi ga ebi na udo na ha JESUS onye nzoputa. Amen).

djeezy: War is better imagined than experienced.

GOD bless you where ever you are, my bro.
Experience they say is the best teacher but it's better to learn from other peoples experiences. Ask the people of old Yugoslavia, Czeckoslovakia, Sudan, Angola, Siera Leone, Liberia, Ethiopia, Somalia, Sri Lanka.
War does not determine who wins or who is right but who is remaining.
I will always appeal for a peaceful resolution which is pains taking and slow too, but far more reasonable and respectable. However, if this fails i will use my British passport. Call me a coward if you like. I will not die a foolish death and nobody should. 9ja 4 live as long as peace reigns.

@OP: I must admit that i was far more fascinated by the command and control of your writing than the message. Somehow, i doubt you are a student. I suspect you are a journalist. Its just too easy to identify a write up by a student or even a fresh Nigerian graduate. Little wonder you have issues with the VC's spoken English.
@Topic: I am not the least surprised at your complaints and observations. The RCCG is not as detailed or painstaking in terms of quality as its sister church WINNERS. Compare the redeem camp and canaanland, even their various parishes. There is this mushroom-ish thing hanging on RCCG, even here in Britain.

NB: I not a member of either church. Just my observation.

OBVIOUSLY NOT FAR FROM YOUR NOSE...!

anydek: I wonder why some animals called humans could not distinguish right from wrong. What is wrong with the statement from Buhari. Your Goatluck Jonadog would not achieve any thing before 2015. Let see how he will be re-elected.Senegal, france are good example of 2015 election in Nigeria.

If you refer to your president as a goat and dog. What does that make you? A CROSS-BREED ofcourse!

Daymauler:

He is not threatening rather warning the government to do what is right to avert blood letting. One man! One vote! If GEJ had perform all these talk would have been needless

You say Buhari is not threatening!? Did you really read it? Such callous words coming from a person of his status?
Buhari was governor of old Borno. If he had taken care of education then in that area, we wouldn't be having the kind of nonsense that's happening in that region now. The very axis where Buhari held sway as governor in the 70's is presently the most violent and least educated sub-region (Borno, Yobe, Bauchi, Gombe, Adamawa and Taraba states) in Nigeria today. From his statements and antecedents little wonder the sub-region is the way it is today.
And its pretty obvious, the only election that Buhari can accept as free and fair is the one he will be declared winner. Now this can never happen cos he can never ever win an election here in Nigeria except in Niger Republic where he is really from.

Mr. Globe:
First of all, Reuben abati you have 0 credibility. Second, I will vote for anybody who wants to divide Nigeria. 3rd. I stand with Buhari by saying that the federal govt led by Jonathan is the biggest boko since he has not done anything to prove otherwise. 4th how can jonathan be talking about corruption in the petroleum industry during buhari when he set and is still keeping a world record. 5th. This entire release is egocentrical, petty and thus thrash! 6th. Resign now jonathan

7th. You obviously can not think properly.
Jonathan should resign and handover to who? Sambo!?

My Yoruba brothers are only just uncomfortable that the suspect is claiming their lineage and i do not see anything wrong in trying to clarify the suspects proper identity and even if he ends up being a Yoruba man, its good he should be disowned cos no true son of a good heritage should accept someone who commits such heineus crimes, and this particularly should be what the Kanuris, Hausas, Falanis, Igbiras etc should do instead of keeping quiet and silently encouraging crime and criminality.

Shinor: Another stupid imperialist agent in the guise of a journalist. Why don't you go and hold Obama responsible for Guantanamo bay? He OBAMA PROMISED TO CLOSE IT DOWN if elected president but he has now backtracked. The FBI have used torture as a means of interrogating inmates. Yet the US is left free. Daily we hear cases of US soldiers committing atrocities in Iraq and Afghanistan but it is "normal".
Please spare us your rubbish journalism. That prison was built in the 60's. Used by Buhari as well leaders before him but it was not built by Buhari.
Enough of this gutter journalism.
If there are no records for it, how did you find it? Why is there a signboard outside the place?

Bros, FBI dont use the word "torture". There's a terminology for it: ENHANCED INFORMATION RETRIVAL (EIR).

LagosShia:

if i as a muslim, keep saying that boko haram does not represent islam or muslims,i think it would be unfair of me to hold all sunnis responsible for the acts of boko haram.i would not be irrational and hold my sunni brothers responsible for the killing of a Shia leader by the criminals.boko haram is undoubtedly under the infuence of the lethal wahhabi aka salafist ideology which is a tiny and very poisonous movement within the sunni branch.but i will not verbally attack sunnis and hold them responsible as some fanatical christians like doing against islam and all muslims whenever a church is attacked by the criminals.

i do not doubt or question the opposition of the majority of sunnis in nigeria to boko haram.if wahhabi saudi arabia tries to sponsor such an infamous group like boko haram, the sunnis in nigeria before the shia would be the first to oppose them and stand against that.Shia Iran would not even bother itself.the Shia in Nigeria as everywhere else around the world are more organized and better led as in Shia Islam there is a clerical hierachy and control to direct the flock.so boko haram should just respect themselves and not bite more than they can chew.and if this is a plot by the enemies of Nigeria (who could be internal or external) who sponsor boko haram to change the plan, then it will fail.we have seen boko haram provoke christians.aside from verbal outbursts, the christians have shown restraint.the Shia would prove more mature to enter such mess against confused souls who are killing their own people in the north.there is no religion that boko haram can adopt to justify their attrocities.boko haram needs to invent a new religion of their own exclusively to justify their madness because for sure this is not Islam.

I couldn't help but click the "like" for this statement.

There's a difference between careful driving and "scared" while driving. Must ladies are just scared and mistaking it for being careful. For instance, a lady doing 50-60km/hr and still driving on the left side of the road. That's far from being careful. 90 percent of ladies no nothing about driving rules and dont have the least driving skills.
However, i generally think ladies drive the way they walk. Sluggishly!!!

However, it might interest you to note that the FG is currently constructing one in Abuja for 7 times the Delta State cost. This airport is very viable and particularly useful to those of us who are from Delta State and duel outside Nigeria.

I repeat that truth again which is bitter, i am a southerner but i hate hypocrites which most southerners are, you love to take the places of the northerners when it fits you but you hate to share from their woes and worries, majority of those who have suffered all the bombings are northerners, yet you guys love to make it a south/north issue instead of a "Nigerian" issue when it does not suit you.

Stop the hypocrisy, if you want to be taken seriously, then stop the useless hypocrisy and start acting like a MATURED HUMAN, infact a civilized one.

Okoro representing miss Niger, kebbi, taraba, gombe, abuja, kaduna, yobe e,t,c, but when bomb blows up okoros plus abokis, it's turned to "they are killing southerners" doublemouthed whiners.

I usually do not reply to tribal comments cos i see those of us who make such comments as childish and most likely speaking from the littleness of their minds. But your comment above is even less childish with support comments from your fellow kids.
I believe you know full well that to be elligible to contest, the contestant must be firstly a Nigerian, single and must have attained the age of 18 years.
Not trying to be uncanny, i also do believe that you know that most 18 year olds from the states you mentioned are not elligible cos they would have been married at age 12 and would have had a minimum of four kids before they are 18. I wouldn't want to go into their educational backgrounds cos they can not even fill their forms even if it was given out to them for free. So what is wrong with another Nigerian girl (from Delta, Ogun, Ebonyi, Benue etc) who is elligible and wants to contest and probably knows that qualifying from which ever state she originates from will be somewhat difficult/stiff from representing the states you mentioned?
@Seun Osewa: Please, create a section for "kids" where your moderators can throw childish comments.
@OP: CONGRATULATIONS to Miss Cross River! You have enough time to prepare yourself before the world stage.

Its difficult not to pass some blame on Yekini's home state government. Gathered the sports minister is also from Kwara state. Forget his old national team mates as they all have their lives to lead and ofcos may also have their own "headaches".
Bukola Saraki the erstwhile Kwara governor, for the 8yrs he was governor could not even as much as ask after the biggest name ever in sports from Kwara and the 'goat' stole so much and wanted to even run for president. Did he not even hear as rumour that this patriot who made sure it was game-over for our opponents was not in good shape?
I doubt if Yekini still had strong pals in the old National team. Cos if for anything at least one of them would have taken up his case. I guess Mutiu Adepoju the popular "head master" and team mate leaves in that same Ibadan. This makes me remember the case of Paul Gascoign who played for England and later became a drunk and a recluse. He was at the point of death when David Seaman an old team mate check on him after repeated unanswered calls only to find him lying unconscious and called for medical help, therefore saving his life.
Yekini's case is painful. Really painful. May The GOOD LORD accept his soul for the good he did for us. Amen!

there is every tendency that nigeria will be reduced to half of its population by the time jonathan finish his first tenure.

it is only pdp that has solution to this problem.
