Eiya! Sokoto is supposed to be one of the most peace states in Nigeria, but these criminals are trying to muddle it up.

Sokoto people, please stand up and be counted aright. Brave the odds and flush the beasts off/out (which ever).

Ejiné: Bia, we have an "Al Farouq Aminu" in our squad? shocked shocked

Well, let's just hope he won't be busy collecting bribes before he can perform.

Lithuania... This is the first time I'm ever hearing of such a place.

Lithuania has already won a gold medal in swimming.
It will take a miracle for us to beat Lithuania in basketball. I pray for the miracle to happen, sha!
Politics / Re: Al Mustapha Prison Notes Uncovered by Tropilo(m): 1:44pm On Jul 28, 2012
Orikinla: Foreign powers masterminded the elimination of Gen. Murtala Muhammed, Gen. Sani Abacha and Chief MKO Abiola. They did all these for their selfish control of political power in the Gulf of Guinea. It is a very wicked world. But the irony is these victims never suspected the foreign agents who came smiling as peace makers. If Abacha had not died, he would not have killed Abiola, and if he became the President of Nigeria, there would not have been the break down of law and order in northern Nigeria and the Niger Delta. The terrible road accidents of satanic armed robbers making luxury buses to run over their victims would not have happened, the murder of innocent NYSC members during the last presidential elections would not have happened and the over 10, 000 people killed so far since the evil ruling party took over power in 1999 to date would not have died in terrible crises perpetrated by the Boko Haram, Niger Delta militants, Igbo armed robbers, kidnappers and other lunatic fringe of the Nigerian population. The foreign powers are now fishing in the troubled waters by selling weapons through their arms dealers to the terrorists in Nigeria and also complicit in the illegal trade of stolen crude oil in the Niger Delta. Because when the late Umaru Yar' Adua the past President of Nigeria pointed out that the tankers coming to Nigeria for illegal oil "bunkering" were from America, Europe and Asia and they passed through the same Atlantic Ocean used by the US Navy that did not stop them and allowed them to operate, he did not last long. We must know the Truth, for only then can we solve our lingering problems. God help Nigeria.

When they tell you people not to take weeds and drug yourselves, you wouldn't listen. See how its making this chap hallucinate!
Celebrities / Re: Jackson Family Feud Unfolds At Family Home by Tropilo(m): 10:20pm On Jul 25, 2012
I doubt money is the major problem here cos i know Janet and Rebbie (a high profile cosmetic nurse and also married to a real estate tycoon) are loaded.
Jermaine is a hungry rat and can do anything for money (at a time he converted to islam hoping Michael's friend in Bahrain will "see" him, but zero). MJ was keeping his fermished soul alive hence he wouldn't want to believe he did not mention him in his will.
Janet, trully wants those kids properly brought up and believes grandma Cathy is not strict enough hence the "spoilt brat" altercation. Marlon has good investments in SA and a thriving hotel in Namibia hence he spends time in Africa. Goes to Nigeria also as he has some deals with Olisa Adibuah and some government big wigs.
Family / Re: Corrections Men Hate From Women! by Tropilo(m): 1:25pm On Jul 23, 2012
Ninapha: Why do men hate corrections from women especially table manners. My hubby holds spoon in a very disgusting way and would never take any correction wether classic or rudimentary. My younger brother too talks while eating and would tell the wife he is the only one allowed to talk and eat so no corrections. Ladies, have u encountered this and men why are you sweeties like this.

gst101: people here are mainly frm the lower part of the country and are also aggressively antagonistic toward anything malo thats why they are not giving us credit even when they can see that we are more efficient with the little we have.

Watch your words Mr. Man! There are better ways or words/phrase to refer to the South of Nigeria than your "lower part of the country". Though you may mean well, but it could tell a different thing altogether.

In the case of FOI, you have to apply for the info you want. But, if you steal it. It becomes an offence against the state.
However, the police are not sure how he got the info, they are only assuming he hacked their system. Meanwhile, there could be a mole in their operations set up.

Business / Re: First Bank, GTB, Zenith ,4 Others Listed Among Top 1000 Banks by Tropilo(m): 2:14pm On Jul 10, 2012
How many of these banks mentioned pay dividends to their share holders? I own shares in Skye and have not received a kobo for 6 years. ECOBANK pay dividends yearly and on time, even in US Dollars, yet they did not make the list. I think the criterium for judging is very faulty.
Banks are usually rated by assets, liquidity, returns to it investors/share holders instead of the mundane criteria listed in the post.
Romance / Re: Her Fiancè Lied To Her by Tropilo(m): 3:39pm On Jul 09, 2012
Wilybabe, what exactly do you want us to do for you?

You are already in the relationship and you guys are already making plans for a legal union. Do you want someone to tell you to leave the relationship at this 9th hour?

All i can advice is this: if he's a nice chap (you already said that you love each other), then forget that flaw, but if you can not easily get it off your mind then talk it over with him and honestly move on. Ofcourse, he may have lied cause he thought you'd look down at him. You know, this paper qualification thing that does not measure with some peoples abilities and capabilities so he wants to belong.

Its all your call, dear!

Mallam20: Every right thinking mind must respect the sanctity of human life, especially the innocent ones. Without prejudice, how come when these attacks are to carried out on Christian churches, vehicles loaded with explosives are rammed into buildings or IED thrown to worshippers thereafter followed by gun shots at people fleeing for their lives but when it comes to our mosques the bombs are always planted and later discovered, possibly by our Imams. In as much as, I am not saying they should come and bomb us at the mosques, our Imams and political rulers should rise up and condemn this Boko Haram issue,it is not Islamic or else at the end we are going to be the loser.

Unbiased post. GOD bless you!

The body of your post did not even take critical look of his obversations. You are all in defense of the very clear wrong things he observed.

You concluded by saying "the world is changing."

Ofcourse the world is changing, but is it for the better? I don't think so.

An "A" rated sports man was once asked on CNNsports, the sports man he would have loved to be, he pick Roger Federra or Tiger Woods and when he was asked whom he wouldn't want to be, his response was direct, "Andy Murray".
This is because of the pressures of being a Brit. If Murray had been Swiss or Swede there wouldn't be so much pressures on him. But, if Roger had been British, hmmm only GOD knows what the British press would have likened him to.
