Andre Uweh: Hausas are tops in this quest. At times there may be some Ijaws without foreign names. But Hausas, very rare. Most Ijaws have trad names but the names are usually long. As for Hausa/Fulani, besides Late Tafawa Balewa and Aminu Kano, i doubt if there's any with complete trad names till date. |

kemiola89: I wish/pray to get married to the kingdom type of husband someday, i.e if they does exist. There's no such man as category 10. Not even Odukoya himself. I think its more like "what a husband is supposed to be". Only JESUS could have been such a man, cos he was SUPER HUMAN. No man formed by a common semen can qualify! Let no one deceive him/herself. We are human and fallible. |

Danka7777: Yesterday was Oshiomole comfortably paddling a canoe to no where. Today is Peter Obi semi-submerged in flood water. Tomorrow would be Rochas Okorocha(the chief stunter), fully submerged in flood water. These people have an incredibly amount of humor in them. Arm chair critic! |
Politics / Re: Happy 52nd Independence Day Nigeria by Tropilo(m): 6:55am On Oct 01, 2012 |
earthgreeners: Proudly reliant on corruption and visionlessness, massive ignorance and low life expectancy, animal cruelty and ethnic jingoism, grand disorderliness and tear-brewing terrorism, citizens' poverization and heartless subjugation, value victimization and morality frustration, imperial agenda and legislated exploitation by foreign bullies to survive, Nigeria is not yet independent! No truly independent nation was ever tagged independent by swimming the graciously gory details of such crazily conradictory odds at independence. Nigerians must be patriotic enough to pull down the oppressive pillars of dependence in every facet of the Nigerian life for the annually celebrated spiritual sacrilege on 1st of October to magnetize significant meanings to the corporate existence of this vast area around the Niger! I am not a patriot of a directionless system! Nigeria, shame on to you, on this performance-accursed day! A very bad egg! HAPPY INDEPENDENCE NIGERIA. My beloved fatherland. |

coogar: Not only in Nigeria. The popular Hollywood star Jack Nickelson got to know on his 50th birthday that his "sister" was actually his mum. She got pregnant at 13 had him at 14. The family kept the secret and he grew up in the house as the last-born of the family, thinking his grandma was his mum. I WONDER HOW THE STAT PLACED NIGERIA AHEAD OF SODOM (USA) AND GOMORA (SOUTH AFRICA). |

Literature / Re: Do Animals Think?? by Tropilo(m): 8:05am On Sep 27, 2012 |
Any living thing with brains can think. Living things such as plants and insects, snails etc are instintive. However, the only thing that differentiates human thinking with that of lower animals is "reasoning" and ability to decipher. Reasoning or/and conscience is the element that seperates us and even varies from one man to another. |

greateros: in as much as i empathize with the 'victimized' ladies, we should all understand that their are two sides to every story especially when it involves relationship. My friend GOD bless you! I fear situations when i can not get the other side of a story especially when it concerns women. I am a witness to what happened between a popular Nollywood (so called) star and her hubby. This evil daughter of Eve (GOD forgive her) knows how to bend-bend stories. Worst still is that Nollywood movie viewers see her as a lady-bird, meanwhile....! Wish i can mention her name. Her husband caught her lesbianating she turned it against him. She was even "crobbing" a producer, but when you hear her talk. Kai, you no go believe say she carry demons for head. 1 Like |

rbjimoh: The Jews, despite that the whole of scriptural history is about them, do not have a place to call home, "COUNTRY" Have you paused yourself why? Because their generations have been coursed by God for their arrogance and disobedience.Islam is the true religion of Allah, the Lord of the worlds. Take it or leave it, Islam is the only force that can check the slavery of the world by the US.Islam points man towards logic and what is just. The same US that practically protects Saudi, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Morocco and Kuwait? And these countries have turned themselves to US's slavedoms? Mind you, these "slavedoms" of the Arab world are the only "peaceful" muslim countries. The rest (Afganistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Libya, Yamen etc) are all at war with themselves. |

marabout: Anioma is part of Delta State which has 25 LGA's. Of this 25 LGA's the area referred to as Anioma has 13 of the 25 LGA's with a population of over 3.5million human inhabitants. How many LGA's make up Edo State? What about Ebonyi? Not forgetting Kano State that has a "million" LGA's without humans, just land mass, cos besides Kano metropolis, the rest are basically farmsteds. So also Zamfara, Bauchi, Gombe, Katsina, Yobe, Jigawa etc. Anioma area, has enough reasons to justify its agitation for autonomy, both in human and mineral resources. Human Resources: Pat Utomi, Ngozi Okonjo Iwuala, Jim Ovia, Tony Elumelu, Nduka Obiagbona etc. Natural Resources: Crude Oil, Bauxite, kaoline, Gold, Aluminum, Cooper etc. Agricultural Produce: Yam, Palm Oil, Cassava, All Cereals etc. On the lighter side. When put in place it will be the state with the most reasonable name. ANIOMA: meaning: Beautiful, Luxurant land! 1 Like |
