Politics › Re: Nigerians Abroad Protest Against Kaduna Killings, Task U.S., Others On Cessation by TruthinAction: 9:52am On Aug 21, 2020
The government has a hand in the killings and the soldiers are taking side. When the herdsmen attack, you don't find the soldiers but when the people are ready to defend themselves, the soldiers appear.

seunlayi:
Govt can control churches. Can should shut up
Have they been able to control the affairs of the nation talk more of spiritual things? No security, no light, no job, no accountability, too much borrowing etc. This government should focus their energy on solving the challenges we are faced with first. The church is not our problem. The church is the reason so many businesses are alive.
Politics › Re: Tolulope Arotile: 2 Suspects Freed by TruthinAction: 5:16pm On Aug 20, 2020
She was deliberately murdered. Otherwise, they should have taken the picture of the accident scene before she was taken to the hospital. And they should have allowed her sister to see her when she was in the intensive care.
Christianity Etc › Re: CAN Rejects CAMA, Says Government Cannot Control Churches by TruthinAction: 5:14pm On Aug 20, 2020
The Church is not the problem of Nigeria. The government should concentrate on fixing the problem facing us rather than diverting attention to issues that has nothing to do with national development. Does the Church sponsor criminals? Are the people donating the monies complaining? This government tire me. They are without direction. Well, it happens when there is truly no one leading. I don't think we still have a president.

The converse is also true; If you treat your wife like a Queen, she will treat you like a King.

Women needs care and attention. If you don't give them, they can get it from any caring man.

Years back, an average northerner is hardly involved in criminal activities but now that they have been shown the way, they are ahead in criminal activities especially kidnapping.
Education › Re: WAEC: Imo Schools Charge Students N2,000 Per Subject To Allow Cheating - SR by TruthinAction: 10:49pm On Aug 17, 2020
This has been the culture for about two decades now all over Nigeria. The exceptions are very few. If you don't pay, the invigilators will minute on your paper that you cheated and your result will be seized. But it should be stopped if our education must have a future. Besides, most parents can't afford such money. The way to stop it is for the ministry of education to give a number you can call if you are forced to pay that money.

I don't doubt it but the post is useless as it was posted after the exam has started. It would have made more sense if it was posted yesterday. So, how can it be verified that it really leaked?
Sports › Why Barca Lost The Match To Bayern by TruthinAction(op): 7:04pm On Aug 15, 2020
Though I didn't watch the entire match but the clips of how the goals were scored. The defense was not organized. When you play a team like Bayern that has a strong attacking players, you don't play your regular defense pattern. They should have had at least 7 or 8 players in the defense when they come under attack and counter attack when the opportunity arises. This is how Chelsea won Barca years back. Barca had about 70% possession but Chelsea won the match.

In a nutshell, Barca would have played a defensive game and counter attack at the slightest opportunity. The Bayern team is beatable. At least they lost four of their league matches.
Sports › Re: Messi Slammed For Lack Of Leadership During Defeat By Bayern Munich by TruthinAction: 6:52pm On Aug 15, 2020
The coach has the bulk of the blame. If I were him, I will instruct my players to fall back whenever my team is under attack from a team like Bayern. They should have played at least 7 players in the defense and try as much as possible not to allow the ball get into the 18 yard box.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Barcelona Vs Bayern Munich : UCL (2 - 8) On 14 August 2020 by TruthinAction: 10:49pm On Aug 14, 2020
Barcelona technically defeated Bayern in the same way our Nigeria army technically defeated Boko Haram.

Barca was never the same after the exit of Neyman and Iniesta. They couldn't find a replacement for these two players. Messi also contributed to the downfall of Barca when he started dictating who plays and who doesn't play. Will any club be willing to buy him?
Politics › Re: DSS Releases Another Warning Alert Over Plot To Destabilize Nigeria by TruthinAction: 10:26am On Aug 14, 2020

Politics › Re: Obasanjo Advises Youths To Wrest Power From Older Generation by TruthinAction: 9:25am On Aug 13, 2020
The least I expect Obasanjo to do is to sponsor any capable and willing youth. He should create a platform for that and ask those interested to run for different offices to indicate their interest.

If we have this number of jobless first class students, then the unemployment rate is really very bad. Years back, you will get job offers even before you graduate if you are a first class student. I think we need to vote out this set of polithiefians.

They are trying to provoke another civil war. The herdsmen that kill people definitely hold meetings but they will never arrest them both in their meeting venues and after they kill. Injustice doesn't last.

Sports › Re: Match-fixing Allegation: Westerhof Defeats Bonfrere In Court by TruthinAction: 5:13pm On Aug 12, 2020
Most of you on this forum were still very young and some not even born when that match was played. I wish you can watch the full match. I knew something was wrong when we lost that match. Coach Westerhof was no bothered at all when our defense was under pressure the last few minutes of the game. I knew there was a compromise somewhere I couldn't explain. So, when Bonfere Joe came up with the allegation of match fixing, I wasn't surprised. The fact that he loss in court doesn't change the truth.

Even during the extra time, a defender dragged Yekini on his shirt preventing him from scoring. That was a red card offense but all he gave was a free kick. In my opinion, their was a compromise. That team would have reached the final. The Super Eagles were the better side of the Italian team that won the world cup.

How long should we endure this mediocrity coming from the President? He doesn't have the moral right to continue to rule with this kind of statement. He should just please resign or be impeached.

Politics › Re: Boko Haram: DSS Summons Mailafia Over Comment On ‘Terrorist Nigerian Governor’ by TruthinAction: 9:11am On Aug 12, 2020
The DSS boss himself should be sacked for not doing his job. They are the one who are supposed to uncover the sponsors of these bandits after 10 years. Not been able to do it is a failure on their part. I would have loved a life interrogation by the National assembly on this issue. The DSS will do their interrogation and tell the press whatever they want to tell them.

Sports › Re: Aiyegbeni: Oliseh Greater Than Mikel As Defensive Midfielder by TruthinAction: 5:23pm On Aug 11, 2020
I remember Oliseh for his long tailored passes. He has an eagle eye. I will also not forget his goal against Spain in 1998 that gave us the victory. It was a bullet shot from outside the eighteen yard box.

There appears to be a demon of error and wickedness that has entered every sector of leadership in this Nation. Every decision taken is always taken against the interest of the people. We can't breathe. Our leaders are on our neck. Lord, please deliver us from this wicked and unreasonable government.
Politics › Re: Obadiah Mailafiya: A Northern Governor Is The Commander Of Boko Haram by TruthinAction: 8:48am On Aug 11, 2020
Hezzyluv:
So true. If not, how can well trained military not be able to defeat Boko haram in northeast?
Because the federal government is also part of Boko Haram. They are not fighting Boko Haram. What is going on is ethnic cleansing in the army. The soldiers dying are from the south. Those resigning are from the south. They should publish their names. And they will replace them with repentant Boko Haram. Very soon the army will be mainly those from the north. And this will make it easier to Islamize the country when the time comes. But their plans will fail in Jesus name.
