postmann:You are missing out on the Liberals versus Conservatives war going on being fought on the internet. Lezz is getting the breakdown of it. A war you sure wouldn't want to miss out on. |
BadBradley:Here, there, everywhere. ...And I still check-in 'there' as regularly as The Tyrant trips outside the country. You might want to try Dan Brown's 'Origin' too. postmann:With everything in the country blowing up, my 'sparks' might be 'incendiary' and you-know-who might tag me a terrorist. |
postmann:Antonio Conte! I just saw your post, mann. Still hitting hard at these guys? ![]() BadBradley? Been a while, man. |
Postfut:First person to trend at number one in several countries simultaneously for three frigging days! I just checked his Twitter followers- 28,007,521 just this minute. Kanye is winning either way and hitting those leftist bullies where it hurts most. |
fr3do: wheenie:Wrong! It was a Twitter glitch last night. From about 27 million followers to 18 million followers. Then 19 million followers and almost 28 million followers right now. He's been trending number one for three days consecutively. There's no greater self-promoter in the world right now. ...And the controversy and backlashes and Kanye's typical I-don't-give-a-damn attitude is frigging entertaining. He's gained nearly 100,000 more followers since to his total before the controversy began. |
...And remember, people, use protective goggles when approaching it. Your eyes are important. |
Anas09:Sadly, he's gone. https://www.nairaland.com/3977618/tribute-firstking01-nairalander-gone-soon |
Rest in peace FirstKing01. |
mhisbliss:Am I? For some reason, more guys have been having receding hairlines at younger ages in contemporary times. If you can't reverse it, make the most of it - join the trendy low-cropped hair or full-on bald beadgang. |
Your Missy looks homely. You've got the 'bald' gene; your far-gone, receding hairline makes it that obvious. Try the completely bald look with a full-on heavy beardstyle. Works and looks better. |
Walelavender:Isn't the answer to this question obvious? Acquiring the services of De Gea is an upgrade on any goalkeeper in the world right now. Navas might be good but De Gea is better. That much has been stated a gazillion times and over. |
Aderewah:You are right. The greatest diver the contemporary world has ever known. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, dudes and lasses, I present to you Cristiano 'Phelps' Ronaldo. A resounding boo, please. |
emperormossad:Don't demonize him. Navas has saved countless matches on his own when Madrid defenders were having off-days. Remember the UCL final against Juventus? Incredible acrobatic displays too. |
Ekaka1:Well, Barça had to make do with the erratic Victor Valdez and Pinto for years who, comparatively, were worse than Navas is...and we were still successful. Any replacement for Navas should match David de Gea's abilities but, hey, as a Cule I hope they never such a goalie. |
Walelavender:Navas isn't bad. There are only a few renowned goalkeepers better than him...and they are all seemingly tied to their clubs for years. Madrid would have to make do with him. |
profmsboi:No real FC Barcelona fan would support Real Madrid; worse still, type "Hala Madrid". Worst even, a Penaldo-led Madrid. |
Suspect33:Anything which stops that diving, tap-in merchant from reaching the UCL final is fine by me. |
Safiaa:I could throw same at you. This is the first time I've noticed you not tagging all men as scum who are only fit for the sewage. No boiling 'womanist angst' or deliberate twisting of playfully opined comments of men to portray all of us as misogynistic and embodiments of everything wrong with humanity. ...And, no, this isn't me being typical TSÔM by turning the tides against you and sweeping you with its onrush - it's me stating that persona is different from personality. Somehow, beneath all the bravado and supposed resentment for most members of my gender, methinks there's still a gentle, pacifying female who'd stroke any crease of distress from the face of her man and let him find comfort in her bosom. ...But Nairaland community thinks she hates men 'cause that's what we see her do online. |
Safiaa:If you are Igbo or from any part of the Southernmost part of the South South then you should know it; it's the same as okazi soup. ...And don't be too certain I am (or anyone else is) of high-spirits just 'cause a few grinning or winking emoticons are deliberately inserted in between sentences. For all you know, I could be filling the grinning emoticons with an expressionless look on my face. It's social media, remember? |
Safiaa:Erm, alright, I get it. Most times the trending threads I get involved in are about topical issues and, hence, controversial. ...And controversial threads mostly degenerate into battlegrounds for e-brawls. Therein comes the 'Always Angry' tag. Then again, have you ever had a meal of afang soup garnished with mushrooms and assorted seafoods? No? You should try it. Trust me, you have a silly grin pasted on your face all week. |
Lalas247:LOL. It's alright. The members of the BeardGang love its lovers. May your quest to stroke silky smooth beard and chest hair be fruitful. ![]() |

Nigerian girls? All? I suppose most. Maybe it's just me or fate altering reality but I've never dated a female who depends on men to settle her bills. For the thousandth time or more, I'd keep stating you can be attracted to a lot of girls but you should screen the ones you eventually date. If she's the petty, materialistic leeching type, you definitely saw those signs before you both became an item so why expect her to change? What? You have some magical powers or something? Of course, gifting is important in relationships but once it's parasitic, you should take a walk. If I had to date a new Nigerian girlfriend on every alternate week for the next decade or more, I assuredly wouldn't date the leeching, materialistic ones. That's how bountiful the self-respecting, content types are amidst the ones we are castigating on this thread. |
watutsi:My Nigerian girls? You asked for it! The unattractiveness and neaderthal-like physical and mental features of Tutsi-Rwanda girls were why you were regarded as lesser beings (animals even) by the Hutus and massacred in 1994. Really the only outstanding feature of your Tutsi girls are their tooth (teeth) - same dentition of rats. The highlight of any Rwandan girl's day on social media is if a Nigerian boy likes her picture. No one knows Rwandan females ranking on the beauty index 'cause you aren't regarded as humans. You grass-foraging 'TOOTHsi'! |
watutsi:Rwandan girls? You folks do not count. If Rwandan girls had to represent humans in an inter-primate beauty competition, Monkeys, Chimpanzees and Orangutans would be the winners, first and second runners up respectively. Put your hands down and know your place! |
lefulefu:To fool the voices in their head not to hammer strokes of guilt pangs on their ever-erasing consciences if they outrightly ask for money for sex, they now call it "transport money". Boy: "Cynthia, won't you come see me?" Girl: "James, I don't have transport money. Send me money and I'd come." Or: Girl: "James, I'm leaving." Boy: "Erm, let me put on my clothes and see you off." Girl: "Won't you give me transport money? "The touted 'transport money' isn't exactly money to pay her way back to her place. No, it's a bracket term for money for her hairdo and other things. But it's 'transport money' ,right? These girls... Ask any of them who's denied she never asks to get paid outrightly for sex on this thread if she never asks for 'transport money', then notice her avoid the obvious damning question, with evasive replies even. |
MissWrite:Elsewhere? That'd be relative. The average Nigerian girl is more attractive than the average (black) South African and East African girls (excluding the Ethiopians and Erithreans, if you count them as those). But compared to North Africans and the rest of the world, Nigerian females generally sit on the lowest rung of that ladder of attractiveness. It's not a sentimental conclusion - it's as factual as the laws of gravity. |
ClumsyFlimsy:...And Athletico have rarely won convincingly this season. In the past few years they have had too many near-miss situations for them to be really considered a threat...with one Liga title to show for it, which was a duel to the very end. I agree with you though - Athletico Madrid shouldn't be underrated. Still, they aren't that big a threat as they are made out to be. They still do not have that character, still churning out slim victories...and drawing matches they've nearly won. |
mrcalcufast:I trust Athletico Madrid to always be Athletico Madrid - ruin their chances (like Tottenham) when they have the opportunity to go top by drawing with or losing to bottom-table clubs. I am not scared of them - no-one should. |
tesppidd:...And Dani Alves. Little wonder all Cules adore Pique and rarely ever criticize his few bad decisions on the field of play. |
