Ah! You had to go there; taking on a topic most people are uncomfortable about. Oddly, it's the truth. Most females are still vulnerable around their ex-boyfriends. Hey, let's admit it, when a relationship doesn't really end on a messy note, when he's a smooth talker who uses his learned chivalry to his advantage, she stands no chance against him...if he wants to tangle with her beneath the sheets. Most guys aren't smooth-talkers and the relatively few who are talk their way through the defences of any woman they fancy, through to her heart and on to the moist portal of pleasure between her shapey thighs. ...And most guys are guilty of never really letting their ex-girlfriends go 'cause they enjoy the thrill of pulling the girls' strings as they please. |
Safiaa:There's a reason why Young Thug, Miguel and Future constantly call all women "bitchés" and "hoés" - it's because it appeals to their sexist audiences. Basically, they can justify it. But is the sexist sweeping generalization alright? We both know the answer to that. I’m not saying it’s okay, but that is a part of their brand. The likes of Adele, Whitney Houston and these great singers, if you understood the music industry you would know why they don’t need to be sexy to sell records. Their voices alone carry the weight of their success, whereas Beyoncé, Rihanna and the likes need that added sex appeal to get on their level.Wrong. Adele's voice isn't necessarily better than Beyoncé's. Sia and Rihanna have almost the same voice but ,while Sia keeps her clothes on, Rihanna goes nude at every opportunity - they are both successful still. Nothing explains away being slutty. There should be the same set of rules for every one. Now tell me how this relates to everyday people? You people need to be more realistic when it comes to your arguments. I don’t understand how comparing tinuke from balogun street to Rihanna and Beyoncé is even practical? I mean in this context, it just doesn’t make sense.Oh, it does; as sure as sunset, it sure does. What Tinuke from Balogun Street learns from her sexpot role models is, ' I have to sell my body, use my sexual appeal to boost my chances. My talent or the lack of it nonetheless.' 'I have to give in to the perverted cravings of men who want to see my unclothedness or half-clothness 'cause in doing so I get what I also want - popularity and favours.' That, Safiaa, is why our beloved Tinuke from Balogun Street would keep uploading pictures of her butts and cleavage on Instagram just to get attention even though she can get the same attention with her showcasing of baking skills. It doesn't matter anyway. According to Safiaa, she needs to project the sex appeal to sell. ![]() |
Safiaa:So, basically, there are different rules for different females and a female can be excused if she portrays herself as primarily a sexual object as long as it favours her. It's alright to be slutty as long as you benefit from it, yes? It's alright for me to leer at a female who projects herself as a sexual object if it futhers her cause? Adele doesn't dress slutty. There are several other females who don't project themselves as sexual objects and are still famous and successful as can be. Ayana Curry is the wife of multiple time NBA MVP, Steph Curry and she's a celebrity in her own right with a voice...and she never dresses as a slut. When you, a female, creates different rules for different females just to advance your own agenda then it leaves much to be desired. So much for equality. So much for equality treatment. |
JohnNU:It isn't surprising that guys who complain about the BeardGang are those who can't grown a full thick beard and are jealous. We know you folks always making snide remarks yet asking us in private how we maintain our full beard and tips to grow yours. |
donstan18:I did give a summary of it on that thread. Check my post history. |
donstan18:Right here. |
donstan18:The post history about Coco's was mostly wiped out -completely even - by the moderators who she's always had in her palms way back during the most heated era of feminists versus anti-feminists battles in the Family Section years ago but a lot of folks are in the know. She couldn't deny it. She just played the usual victim's card women who have been found out with the truth usually play. There's more. I wish I could admit more but I'd stop. Just imagine the worst when these married Nairaland females decide to sell you their fairytales. |
Dreamswayne:There are several links but peruse the contents in the following: BabyOsisi- https://www.nairaland.com/2523183/scam-cost-paternity-test/5#37007109 https://www.nairaland.com/2982550/why-girls-cheap-pictures/12#43705928 Coôgar and the adulterous married female Nairalanders - https://www.nairaland.com/4474379/siena-gbudje-exposed..ladies-careful-members/30#67307634 https://www.nairaland.com/search?q=coogar+married+women&board=0 https://www.nairaland.com/2746886/coogar-exposed-credit-card-fraudster https://www.nairaland.com/2723630/sum9000.com Mr. and Mrs. 'We will throw it in your face that we are married and happy' Siena and how it all turned out-https://www.nairaland.com/4474379/siena-gbudje-exposed..ladies-careful-members There you have it, man. |
Amarábae:https://www.nairaland.com/3897940/ever-regretted-saying-no-person/1#58086557 So , apparently, she was having sex long before she walked down the aisle...but she's slut-shaming single females who are walking the sexual path she's walked. How's your sanctimonious campaign working out for you, Virgin Mary? ![]() |
UDUJ:I saw what you did there, man. You edited the post so Cocôcandy and Truckpushér would get the mentions and these would spiral downwards to a full-blown e-war and , maybe, a scandal-revealing thread. ![]() It is what it is. Old story. |
donstan18:If you know Nairaland as well as some of us do, if you have been in the thick of the scandals and controversies when they happen especially in the Family and Health Sections, there's no active married Nairaland female you'd take seriously, trust me. Just ask around. What you'd find would make you feel only resentment for married Nairaland females. There's a reason why they would never antagonize me or those in they know - they know we know their stories. |
Gerrard59:Old story, man. Happened in 2015 when he exposed her past as a female of the red light district and detailed accounts of pregnancy terminations back in Imo State. She couldn't refute the claims. P.S: That e-mail address isn't functional. I'd have to change to a new one. |
makydebbie:When a housewife struts the 'streets' of Nairaland (with the Romance Section as her base) 'sashaying' back and forth with a raised placard inscribed with screaming words 'I am married with a son! I am happy! I am a queen!', you know it's a cloak masking the many inadequacies in her life. When a housewife spends all her time actively participating in the shenanigans on Nairaland - even by 8.02am on a Saturday morning when she should be spending time with her son who's not in school and her husband who's not at work- then the truth becomes less vague at closer inspection. We've seen a gazillion of her ilk on Nairaland for years- the supposedly happily married ones who throw it in people's faces without being asked. The examples abound; from the Mr and Mrs Siena (who were later exposed as living a lie and not even legally married) to BabyOsisi (the U.S-based happily married feminist doctor who was later exposed as being caught up in a scam marriage-for-green-card scandal, divorced and not even a doctor!) to the happily married women of the Family Section who slept with Coôgar and his gang (while married) and deactivated when caught, to Cocôcandy who was exposed by Truckpusher... Need I go on? The biggest scandals to rock Nairaland (and well-chronicled too) have always been by married folks(women especially). These are the ones who'd upload their family pictures on Facebook (including their husbands') yet subtly make a move on single young men on social media just for the fun of it. I'd rather not give examples about this. You, Makydebbie, sure were glued to the pages of that Siena's marriage scandal thread so you definitely read some of these revelations. Some of us had these scandals unfold before our very eyes years ago. The attention-craving original poster on this thread isn't different. Only time would tell. They always bow out the same way - in shame. |

Bluezy13:Maybe that's the point. Maybe nested deep in the shrubbery of those flowery words is a subtle beseeching of the rest of us 'people' to right the wrong we've done to society 'cause, while Mr. 'Wacko' faults are no longer his (he's lost to the voices in his head),we can recognize ours (tribalism, hate, selfishness) and change our fate. But it's alright to deny the implications -the sentimentality of it even more so. It's easier for us to look the other way, pretending we don't know what's wrong. It's easier for me too. |
EzePromoe:Telemundo, ZeeWorld and there likes shouldn't be watched anywhere by practising religious folks anyway 'cause most times they contain preconceived, scripted sexual, violent and profane content which's unwholesome from a spiritual angle. Football (and most sports) are just fun games devoid of the afore-listed TV series. If football is bad, why has the church been organizing football( and sporting) competitions for its members, dividing them into team's during organized Youths' Week, Women's Week, Children's Week and even Men's Week. Here's why; it's 'cause football in it's basic form is just a couple guys or girls kicking a ball around the field for ninety minutes and nothing untoward done to threaten their morality or, if you like, religiosity. Which begs the question, sir, what is it about sport (football especially) which makes you think it'd erode one's spirituality/religiosity? What about sports defiles the church. |
EzePromoe:Aha! That... That outburst of unholy indignation. So that is it, secularity versus religiousness? Remind me, sir, when did sports become the forbidden fruit? When it go out of the reach of religious folks or when did sports (by just being sports) defile a religious? I'm a FC BARCELONA fan and could spend a whole day trolling and (playfully) cursing out at Real Madrid and enjoy every minute of it. But, hey, let's pretend I am a lost soul whose claims to the Christian Life are non-existent. In need of redemption. Don't you think if I am invited the aforementioned football-viewing-cum-church event and while we are in thick of it, I keep yelling, "Booooo! Taplord Penaldo. Self-glorying, leeching idiot!", it's alright if a church brother walks up to me during the halftime break to tell me, "Hi bro. You are enjoying the match?" I notice he's a Barcelona fan too but, curiously, he isn't cursing out out Ronaldo or wishing Casemiro gets a sprain? Don't you think leading with that example will impress something upon me and open my heart further to listen to the subsequent preaching or Bible talk or discourse if I am (well, sticking to our earlier pretend game) a lost soul? Wouldn't that further the aim of the church, which drawing young people especially to God? Isn't it defeatist to shoo me , a supposed lost soul, away when you are supposed to help me straighten whatever crooked paths I walk? Don't you think so, sir? |
charain:Of course, it wouldn't...to you. You are Charain - a teleprogrammed humanoid who w just gulps down all its being feed without seeing the bigger picture. Crawl back to your limited horizon. I'm sure the reclusiveness is comforting for you. |
EzePromoe:Is it, you know, bad? Maybe the church is modernizing while keeping its basic Christian dogma/doctrines. Maybe it has woken up to the reality that youths are curious about everything and check out everything you condemn. So instead of criticizing them or blacklisting them, they've decided not to filter their view of the world any longer. Instead they help shape your views like a farmer adjusting the positioning of a growing tomato plant so it gets to grow in the direction with proper staking. Maybe it's alright to let young people have fun and advise them (when necessary using the Bible as your manual) if you please. Churches like RCCG, Christ Embassy and the Living Faith Church have been organizing similar activities for their youths for some years now. It wouldn't kill you if you go home sober later that night celebrating your team's victory with a bottle of drink 'cause alcohol . You still haven't defiled the church. And, hey, Kaka is reportedly a pastor, a good, practicing Christian yet he's one of football's great icons, winning its trophies and medals...and it didn't make him less of a Christian. Tell me again, how would watching football in a wholesome environment (the Church) make you less ? Bravo, MFM! The days of close-minded religious fanaticism would soon be banished to the pages of history. |
Did you notice something? They are Christians and Muslims. And here's the interesting part, they are all from Kaduna (South?) Same Kaduna (South?) where a Jihad could start if you attempt to swat mosquitoes adorning hijabs or squashing a housefly with a crucifix on its neck would lead to an unrest. Yet these unlikely bed fellows 'mated' and birthed a crime. They UNITED. At the end of the day, it's about money for everyone. Religion or gender or race just ends up being the tool; the means to that end. Which explains why Boko Haram, for example, continues to exist: Security votes and all of that. |
I bet he's never watched football matches there or anywhere around hence the uproar or surprise at the unusual - the least likely- spectator. I guess deep inside the close-ended maze his mind has become- inside that spiralling web- a tiny part still remembers he's Nigerian and where his loyalty lies...even though it's too fragile to process it all. Somehow in his supposedly 'wacko' state of mind, maybe he's still proudly Nigerian and patriotic - something most of us aren't. Maybe with a little help he can be saved from the ever-screaming voices in his head. Somehow, maybe, he can be redeemed. ...But the rest of us can't be. We are lost in the suctioning abyss, getting drawn into the bottomless pit of ultra-tribalism, seething hate at any seeming opposition, me-over-everybody... Maybe he can be saved. That's a probability which connotes possibility. ...The rest of us? We can't be saved. We are too far-gone. We are lost...and we don't even know it. ![]() |
You sanctimonious, supposedly 'Christian' zealots make cringe-worthy statements one-time-too-many that the rest of the rational world has come to expect it from you, like it's normal; which in itself is even more cringe-worthy. Delusional fanatic! |
kingkakaone:Meghan Markle upped her feminism chants after her first marriage failed and she got divorced. She's no longer chanting the feminism mantra since she met Prince Harry and got engaged. She's taken on his name and will play the dutiful wife like the women before her. Hilary Clinton rode on the pro-feminism wave when her political career started out but she's always had 'wife' indicated on her profile and always identifies as 'Mrs Clinton' - Bill Clinton's wife, the woman who belongs to Bill Clinton. She stayed put in her marriage too and vilified the women her husband sexually abused. Janet Jackson identified as a feminist at some point...but she ended up converting to Islam and outrightly married an Arab fundamentalist - an open misogynist. |
wristbangle:Huh? Chimamanda has been married for years with a child. She lives in her husband's house and cooks for him too. She never denies that. Beyonce the supposed poster girl for feminism about a decade ago got married to Jay Z, took on his name (Carter), went on a music tour around the world called 'The Mrs. Carter Show' and she stayed put when Jay Z kept cheating on her. She tolerated Jay Z's cheating and nobody knew until Jay Z admitted it last year. Feminism is a scam! Feminists are sadistic hypocrites! Shôllypopz (Nairaland's erstwhile feminist 'champion') got married to Côogar (an acclaimed sexist who used advocated the subservience of women and torture to keep women in line). Cocôcandy flaunts her family pictures and kid's, and she never fails to mention how her husband 'spoils' her with gifts 'cause he provides for her but she is a supposed feminist. These pretentious mongrels think they can always deceive everyone. |
Kxngstein:That you know where to find GAY bouncers is also troubling. |
AdaFonju:...And the Efiks, the Annangs and the Oro people. It's called "Mbopo" in Ibibio and Efik (Efùk). There are several aspects of the borrowed culture amonst the Igbos and the Akwa-Cross folks (Ibibio, Annang, Oro, Efik). |
sisisioge:Why? So you'd excuse Paedophiles just because they double as homosexuals ? Paedophiles ( regardless of their other sexual orientations) should be mauled by the cruelest of beasts. |
If he gets stabbed or something worse, I guess he deserves it 'cause he should have seen it coming. A man who's carefree enough to date a girl who types like a drug-addicted call girl in a run-down strip club who's that dyslexic leaves a lot to be desired.. ...Which might explain one thing: He's like her, a hood, gun-slinging gangster - the stereotypical 'nîgga'. Perfect couple; Match-made in 'FûckedUpVILLE' |
I suppose it's dependent on both your ages. The older most women get, the more they'd be uninhibited to date younger men. A woman in her thirties would most likely be open to dating a guy in his late twenties. Women in the aforementioned age range could be better coordinated than members of their gender in their twenties. ...And they have their priorities right, being concerned more about deeper things. Society still raises an eyebrow when a guy goes for a female who's five or six years older than him. I find it amusing 'cause they'd understand if they viewed the whole spectrum of that attraction from his perspective. |
diggz:Why? He's taken Chelsea to the level it truly belongs. He should be applauded. Only the better clubs in the EPL deserve to play in the UCL. Why should the world suffer the eyesore of watching people like Bakayoko play? Isn't that man's inhumanity to man? |
