idris4r83: am talking about the first 20 selected applicants from each states. The thing is godfatherism works wella in the nigerian army even after d first shortlist if one is not properly backed up by at least a colonel mehn it takes grace of God for 1 2 scale through especially that their medicals where they tag healthy people with 1 ailment they've never heard of before. Lots of underground politics and lobbying is involve even in d screening camp. May God help us bro. Am very optimistic most of us will be favored by God.

idris4r83: Everybodys morale is low, people are no more excited on the list like before, some say d list is gonna b out 3wks after closing of their reg portal, people have speculated till they can't speculate any more. Imagine some applicants even attributing d status quo 2 d COAS mothers burial ceremony; lolz. Even military officials are scared of telling u any date cos dis years own is unusual. What might b the cause of this lateness, is it because of regular cadets undergoing their screening now? Is it because of d contemplation whether 2 write exams or not? Is it because dis years applicants population is dense? Is it because most of d applicants have big army rednecks (ogas @ d top) and is making d list difficult 2 compile? I was told (don't ask me who) that d list was rejected like 3 times in DHQ before they came up with d final list due 2 military politics, lobbying n other tinz involved. Some made d first list but couldn't make d 2nd list after d filtration and later some were ill-lucked and couldn't make it 2 d final list which according 2 any army official I asked, d answer is just keep ur fingers crossed it will b out dis month. Nigeria is d only country where things are not done according 2 calendar. May we be in d final list by the grace of almighty GOD. No matter d filtration what will be will definitely be. God never fails. Once more goodluck 2 us.

Some people just don't have manner of approach, I know even Ojukwu of Biafra joined the army as RRI yet he had a degree already & rose to the position of a Colonel & military governor of the Old Eastern Region. So don't let anyone weigh you down brother cuz some graduates still apply as regular soldiers for one reason or the other

fsb: @T Stone, Mayb 1st 2 digits represent a particular corp like ParetoAndy suggested and then d remaining digits represent hw many people have registered under dat corp for example DSSC/2013/7386 ...Finance corp is 7, and 386 people have registered ....Its all conjecture though....

fsb: Nope, I applied for DSSC...The only thing that makes sense is that each corp is probably represented by a number. Maybe Medical Corp is 11...What corp did u apply for?

If u see any number that more than this, kindly tell us to know estimete numbers of people who applied.

emmanuel4fire: check the file size. It shouldn't be more than 1000kb . If its more than then reduce it. If the problem persist then look for another cybercafe or better still, contact the Nigerian Army help desk for support.
