Family › Re: Why Are Some Men Abandoned By Their Wives and Children At The Old Age? by Tunagee(m): 2:52pm On Jan 24, 2023 |
Osanoghodua1: 2 men in my area have been abandoned. One is an Igbo Man, I was giving one his son money and foodstuffs to feed him, and personally give him money. He passed away last week. The children accused him of lavishing his money on young women and told them not to care for him at old age. Any child who doesn't take care of their fathers at old age is cursed already regardless. The other a Benin man, I don't give him money because one Americana is responsible for his upkeep and I just fix his faulty gas cylinder when firewoood injured him, he has a farm adjacent my house, he's too hard working but loves trouble. He told my pastor sister that he didn't take care of his children and thst he was a chronic womaniser. He loves women till now. I over heard him while in my poultry that he's not responsible for the troubles of his children and thst he's their father. One of them apparently sent him money in Christmas.
Regardless, don't abandon your parents at old age even if they're witches and wizards. Even if you have the anointing of Elijah, they have authority over you till they're dead, just a single word from your father can cast darkness in your life forever except God intervenes.
I am almost the youngest of my mum children but I pay attention to her, had to relocate to leave in same compound with her. I set up house item for her and fix her boiled hole with the money I wanted to use in fixing my car and setting up my wife. My siblings promised to reimburse me but it's over ,5months dey have left speaking about it. God sparing my life will do more. I am not moved by emotion though I didn't grow up with her. Leave the children na, sebi dem wan follow devilish advice from their mothers. Na their mama bring them from heaven |

The foolish women that are waiting for their husband to reach old age to revenge, are they even sure that they too would reach middle age before passing on? |

KanwuliaExtra: My friend's daughter just disowned her dad. . . .in this awa diaspora ke! Rumor had it that the dad wanted her mom to use her for 'ritual' as soon as she was born. He suggested they should 'use this one', because other children will come.
Of course the woman told her daughter when she got older. . . .THE DAUGHTER HAS SINCE CHANGED HER LAST NAME TO HER MATERNAL GRANDFATHER'S FIRST NAME.
I have met the man myself. . . his head is not correct. I would not put it past him. Like this does not happen all over Nigeria? His wife must be mad, wicked and foolish for telling her daughter about it, she only wanted to bring hatred between father and daughter. Very wicked being!!! |

Business › Re: CBN Launches Its Own Debit Card by Tunagee(m): 12:12pm On Jan 20, 2023 |
nedekid: The atm in your pocket is likely master or visa card. Foreign western owned companies. Charges goes to them to. While using them is good, it exposes you and other Nigerians to foreign meddling. Tomorrow, we disagree with the US and they sanction Nigeria, imagine overnight, your Master or visa card goes dead. Does not work at atms, banks, pos etc. It happened in Russia, Venezuela, Iran etc. Luckily Russia had planned ahead and had its Mir card. The cbn one will be a localized Nigerian card, something similar to verve. Operating within Nigeria, with our local servers. I think there is a silent movement by countries to beat the US monopoly in payment systems. Gradually, countries eg India, China, Russia, now Nigeria are setting up their payments infrastructure, when matured, they will then link them together immediately creating a rival to western payment systems.. Brilliant |

SyrusdeHansome: The rate at which our teen girls are getting pregnant this days is so alarming that the Nigerian government shud start thinking of ways to reduce it. At my work environment, more than 4 teen girls that are below 17 are nursing mothers, nd the truth is that this getting out of hand. It's slowly turning into an epidemic and if measures aren't taken now controlling it will be near impossible in the future. Parents shud begin to take their parental responsibilities serious in order to avoid had i known 2moro. What are mothers teaching their daughters this days? What are fathers doing to curb this menace? What are the commisioners for women affairs of our various states doing abt this? Teenage pregnancy is slowly destroying families in Nigeria nd the earlier we wake up as parents the better for us. These generation of teenage girls in Nigerian local communities have become very materialistic and exposed to lots of vices, peer influences, social media, quest for having android phones desperately, and of course, poverty. Unfortunately their mothers, who are most time to blame, have neglected their responsibilities; particularly the single moms who also accidentaly bore her kids as an underage. |

Joyrider404: Today I made a post on how to spot oloshos on the street..the answers I got fed my thoughts... In my area little girls below 18 are into this act most of them are pregnant... The other day I was passing I over heard 2 teen boys bargaining sex price with a girl of about 15 to 16 this really saddened me.
I think the main problem here is bad parenting when a child is given freedom at a tender age to act as they want they become hard to tame also the kind of environment they leave in, the kind of friends they mingle with .these days you see a child of 14years carrying an android phone wtf for what. Also money Exactly |

Betterdays007: This morning, I went for a job interview for the position of a customer care representative. I stammer actually and I knew it was likely I wouldn't get the job. I met with their HR and we had conversation and during the conversation he asked if I was a stammerer and I answered in the affirmative, then he told me that I can't work as a customer care representative in their company due to my deficiency. I jus waka jeje comot there. He was right. You could not have been employed for that role cos you would disrupt communication flow between you and the customer. Vocal impairment issue is taken seriously when you are working in a call center. Your grammatical expression, and dialect is also taken into consideration. You cant afford to even have a local intonation present in your grammatical expressions when speaking english. So sorry bro |

The only reason I find it hard to propose marriage to her is just because she is a single mum of a 4 yr old boy. If not,she is everything a man needs in a woman.
I don't want to marry her,but dumping her is such a difficult thing to do because I don't want to hurt her. Wow! She must be very rare to find. |
