Oyo-Iseyin Road is a state government road (Trunk B Road) so, don't expect a Federal government that has not finished work on all FG roads to construct state roads

I couldn't write down my thoughts on this provoking subject earlier but I gave commitment to put something down as input.

We spend good amount of time blaming our retrogression on Nigeria but I believe majority of our problem is our own doing. The topic you opened covers many areas and aspects of our culture but in order not to digress from the main issue I will focus myself with the precise issue of Yoruba Screen Entertainment.

Who determines who shall be a celebrity, and how is that selection made? What is the authority that determines which produced movie we will see and which we will not? Who determines what scripts to finance and produce and which one to reject?

Whoever these authorities are, knowingly or unknowingly, they control the future of Yoruba Cultural exchange across the globe. Here is my next question.... Are these authorities registered with any Oodua Socio-Cultural Commission or Group?

Looking back on the right up, I must say the whole situation has gone from bad to worse in which thoughts of opinion moulders like you would be appreciated. so I look forward to reading your thoughts

As a lawyer who witnessed the whole scenario cos my client was among people arrested by AKS Eleyele, Ibadan in connection with the death before he was eventually rounded up, I must clear some lies in his confession. The woman he claimed to have killed cos her husband sacked him was already divorced with the husband which he was aware. The woman was a lecturer at School of Surveying, Oyo and had divorced the husband before he killed her. He even lied that the husband was also owing his last salary of 40, 000 naira whereas the man had paid him long ago upon the intervention of DSS, Oyo town long ago. I suspect he killed the deceased just to steal her car but unfortunately for him, he was being tracked by his phone and was eventually arrested.

So an incumbent governor must win his 're-election automatically? Ask Ikedi Ohakim of the same Imo State how he lost 2nd term election. Many other examples like Alao-Akala of Oyo state, Aliyu Akwe-Doma of Nasarawa, and lately the outgoing governor of Bauchi state are good examples to show that incumbent governor can lose 're-election bid. No matter how you wanna deny the presence of APC in the East, the obvious fact is that the party is rooted in Imo and it's on it's platform that Okorocha was 're-elected. Mind you, APC also won Federal Rep seat and later senatorial seat by court declaration in Imo state

I can relate having served in Cross River State too, I know most governors in those axis do nada considering the resources at their disposal, neglected villages reeking of squalor and poverty dot every nook of the state with no motorable roads, no pottable water and other basic amenities, and I can agree to your assessment of Ajimobi's government. It was a major tourist destination during festive periods.

As at 2015 when I left Kano, the zoo was still in good shape, and was far better than both U.I and OAU zoo in term of number of animals and the care the animals enjoy. It was as well cheap to visit compared to the two earlier mentioned zoo. Kano zoo cost 100 naira for adult and 50 naira for children to visit all nook and cranny of the zoo
