Muslims can't live in peace with each other.

Anyways, Germany was calling for Europe Union to open their country for terrorists, UK has left the union.
Germany should be ready to take more terrorists as refugees

Germany is doing no such thing. It's even worse than that.
Germany is picking and choosing the technically qualified/skilled worker(doctors, nurses, engineers etc) and shipping the rest off to other EU countries to look after. Hence the backlash.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Thousands Flee Syria To Turkey As Idlib Conflict Escalates (Photos) by tundess: 4:20pm On Feb 05, 2020
Turkey is trying to protect it's sponsored fighters like the FSA, HTS, HAS and assorted "unicorn" anti-Assad forces from being smashed in he Idlib cauldron.
Idlib is their last stronghold and Russian AF is pounding the heck out of them. grin

Also reports that Turkey is shipping some of these "fighters" to Libya to fight Haftar. Expect to see reports of our own jihadis heading north to Libya for training.

Its madness leaving open the Northern borders. With Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso security disintegrating why would you invite refugees, some of whom are terrorists ?

The same people praising this US condition on the return of OUR money are the same who favour everything the US does on the global stage.

How does the US have the effrontery to tell another country how to utilize their money ? And people are cheering this invasion of our sovereignty with gusto ? If you're frustrsted with your govt, vent at them, organise and get rid of them. Encouraging another govt to dictate how OUR monies are utilised is just dumb. Besides, They have been holding that money for a decade and a half. Where is the interest ? Of course they've partaken of the looting.

We don't need american approval on how to run OUR country and anyone supporting the US's diktats should not complain when they foist another Buhari on Nigerians.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Trump Ignored Nancy Pelosi's Handshake Before She Tore His Speech by tundess: 9:54am On Feb 05, 2020
I'd also like to add that Trump is the candidate of the Democrat National Committee (DNC). Why ?
Because he has done everything the donor class (Wall Street, Mil-Industrial-Petro class) has asked for ; He is cutting social security ; He is ramping up military spending ; He is anti-labour/unions ; He has cut taxes for the rich ; And he has unshackled all environmental constraints on the petroleum industry, the most powerful industry in the US. He's even said deficits don't matter !
The DNC has a dilemma in trying to find a candidate that can lose to Trump not win against him.

Sanders' proposals are socialist in so far as Scandinavian countries are "socialist". Imho, Trump would wipe the floor with Sanders. Biden represents the donor class democrats. The dems are caught at a crossroads. They can either swerve farther left like Labour in the UK (and subsequently lose the election) or muddle through with a centrist candidate like Tulsi Gabbard (no chance that will happen).

It's amazing how convoluted the legal steps are to recover stolen assets from Western nations. As long-winded as this repatriatation has taken, Western nations are far quicker to label and demonize us as "fantastically corrupt".
Cui bono ?
The interest alone on the loot is likely to have surpassed the amount stolen. Who gets to keep that ?
Crime / Re: Nathaniel Samuel: Failed Suicide Bomber At Winners Chapel Being Interviewed by tundess: 11:37pm On Feb 03, 2020
So what reason does "Nataniel Samuel" have for attempting to plant a bomb to destroy a church he was supposed to be a Pastor with ?
In addition, we should conclude that "Christian" suicide bombers of unknown motivation have not mastered the art of bomb making such that they are caught in the act ( rarely happens when BH bomb UNIMAD or the market ).
False flags everywhere. Like Chibok is beginning to look like.

PM Johnson said rehabilitation is largely unsuccessful. This guy was released on supervision. And still he rampaged. "He was a good boy", the family will say. "He was radicalised in prison", though he was there for espousing extremist ideas and was deemed a danger.
Here we are releasing them after "repentance'".
"Repentance" to which metric ?
Even Saudi success in de-radicalisation has proven futile, despite millions of $ thrown at it(SA does not publish recidivism rates but AQAP in Yemen is mostly entirely made up of former deradicalisation prisoners).
Will this govt tell us if these released BH members return to terror ? Unlikely.

When he was campaigning, Trump said his supporters were so fanatical, he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and they would still vote him in. grin
He labelled Nigeria a shithole and Nigerians lauded him. He threatens and bullys and denigrates, yet Nigerians admire because he "speaks his mind". He gives voice to closet racists everywhere but Nigerians rushed to his defence. NL had reams of pages of ppl praising Trump when he lured an Iranian general on false pretences of a Saudi message to de-escalate regional tensions only to assassinate him. That the killing had the opposite effect of ramping regional tensions up mattered not a jot.
So, we are where we are. Our strategic importance to the US under this President is equivalent to Eritrea, Mali and Tanzania. I have no problem with that but it makes a lot of Trump supporters in Nigeria look like masochistic fools with their slavish devotion to this man's vision of America's relationship to the rest of the world.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Trump Unveils His Middle East Plan Amid Palestinian Rejections (Photos) by tundess: 3:10pm On Jan 30, 2020
The Palestinians are offered very little in his final reconciliation between the US and the forces of Zionism within and without the US.
If the sons and daughters of Ishmael (look it up) behave and cooperate with their Israeli guardians, they will be rewarded with development money intended to comfort them in their helotry (look it up too).
Trump did say to Bibi at the ceremony that Bibi would have the Palestinian money with which to influence future events, but perhaps that was merely clumsy. And what hasn't Trump given Israel ? J'lem, the Golan, anti-Shia foreign policy alignment. Trump also evidently believes Palestinians, like stray dogs, will lick your hands if food, any food, is thrown their general direction.
And isn't it bizarre that not a single Palestinian representative was even present. Were they even invited to an event that decides their future ? I guess not. Because they're not important in the first place.

Politics / Re: Supreme Court Adjourns Sokoto Governorship Appeal To January 20 by tundess: 1:47am On Jan 15, 2020
Ppl keep bringing Zamfara up. Iirc, Zamfara was a case of factional fighting; INEC ruled that APC had failed to present a candidate in the stipulated timeframe and barred all APC candidates.
In Rivers, the SC declared primaries from both factions did not meet legal guidelines (APC-Cole primary against court order, APC-Abe without APC NEC supervision) thereby upholding the earlier FHC decision.
ie, nothing analogous in law to the Imo State verdict. If you believe that judicial whataboutery did not produce the SC Imo election judgement result, then you believe El-Rufai knelt in Kogi in praise of Bello's wide-ranging achievements.
I wish the people of Sokoto well.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Protests In Tehran After Iran Admits Shooting Down Plane by tundess: 9:06am On Jan 12, 2020
Fog of war.
It happens. Hundreds, maybe thousands have been killed by US drone strikes, in which operstors have misidentified targets, talk of in the heat of an "imminent" (see what I did there grin) conflict with a superpower. I expect Iran to pay full compensation to Canada, Ukraine and other nations who lost citizens.
It is difficult to know if Iranian discontent is widespread because of disinformation. My feeling is that Iran is somewhat like Turkey ; the urban populace want to reassimilate into the global community and want regime change whilst the countryside is deeply conservative and predominantly support the regime. For sure, lots of covert action going on behind the scenes.

Trump announced the US does NOT need ME oil and has achieved energy independence.

Soo, what is the US doing in Iraq ? Or the ME for that matter ? If you say IS, I'll remind you Trump has said IS is defeated.
They sell shed loads of weapons to the KSA, Oman, Israel and Jordan. It has carrier strike groups loitering in the Gulf and stationed in Bahrain. Can anyone explain ? Both energy Independence and maintaining a ME presence seem conter-factual.

IS was a Turkey, KSA, FUKUS "managed" attempt at regime change. Remember the unicorn FSA army ? They basically gave their arms to Al-Nusra/HTS or IS depending on which area they were. Turkey was supplying arms to IS too. In exchange for oil from areas under IS control. The Russian intervention into the conflict stopped that, much to the chagrin of Obama's govt. Recall that one the first things Trump did in office was to shut down the covert CIA program funneling materials to the "rebels" ?

I say Trump till 2090 if needs be. He got a beautiful letter from the Pope. America is for God and that's that. Trump said he will release audio in which the general was eating bacon. Left-handed too. Have you fact checked that ? CNN will not tell you that. Kanye has been briefed sha.
Anyhow, Why fact check a man that "sez it as it is ?" because Obama/CNN/apple/Soros/ Merkel/Hezbollah told you? They are all "deep state". Obama and Michelle gave the general $150 billion. Cash. Inside a bible. BBC didn't tell you ? Imminent threat with that kind of money. The general was alao planning to marry Mrs. Netanyahu with some of that windfall. Trump sropped all that nonsense! Evil is finished.
But we want peace.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle To ‘Step Back’ From Royal Duties by tundess: 4:34pm On Jan 09, 2020
Just to clarify re Edward VIII and Mrs. Simpson; The abdication was not triggered because the King wanted to marry a divorcee. After all, Henry VIII, er, divorced and remarried. 6 times to be precise.

The abdication was necessary because the King was very sympathetic with Nazi views and Britain was about to enter into a war with Germany. The british royal family are from the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, paternally. ie German in origin.

The vile gutter press has had it in for Meghan from day....2 ?

Trending hashtags from "moonbump" (ie questioning whether she had used a surrogate to give birth), to "Meg-Gain" to "Megxit," to "duchess of woke", have sought to discredit her family, her colour, even her professional success (she was friendly with Harvey Weinstein don't you know). Sickening stuff.

Harry has seen this coming and has had enough. I don't blame him. He's an admirable young man; He has served his country in uniform and has been fundamental in starting out the Warrior Games in which disabled former armed forces members from coalition countries engaged in the War on Terror compete in a kind of Olympic games. He is very committed to the charities in Southern Africa his mother started.

All this outrage against their retreat from Royal duties is entirely manufactured by the right wing press. So the Nazi-dressing, fun-loving prince is now dour because he is married and wants to insulate his young family from the vitriol and scrutiny of the tabloids ? The same tabloids that hounded his mum to death?

As to public funds, he is supported by his father's business ventures from the Duchy of Cornwall. His public expenses are mainly from his security detail, as a result of him having served in Afghanistan.

I wish them success. For nothing, it will expose the little Englander mentality that has saturated Britain, post Brexit. And yes, a big part of this mentality is racist in nature.

Quote from turcopolier.typepad.com, a blog run by Col. Pat Lang, a former US Green Beret and DIA MENA (Mid East and North Africa) director. He did the planning and following Bomb Damage Assessment when Reagan bombed Gaddafi in 1986. Fluent Arabic spkr to.....

"Someone sent me the news tape linked below from Aleppo in NW Syria. I have watched it a number of times. You need some ability in Arabic to understand it. The tape was filmed in several CHRISTIAN churches in Aleppo where these two men (Soleimani and al-Muhandis) are described from the pulpit and in the street as "heroic martyr victims of criminal American state terrorism." Pompeo likes to describe Soleimani as the instigator of "massacre" and "genocide" in Syria. Strangely (irony) the Syriac, Armenian Uniate and Presbyterian ministers of the Gospel in this tape do not see him and al-Muhandis that way. They see them as men who helped to defend Aleppo and its minority populations from the wrath of Sunni jihadi Salafists like ISIS and the AQ affiliates in Syria. They see them and Lebanese Hizbullah as having helped save these Christians by fighting alongside the Syrian Army, Russia and other allies like the Druze and Christian militias.

It should be remembered that the US was intent on and may still be intent on replacing the multi-confessional government of Syria with the forces of medieval tyranny. Everyone who really knows anything about the Syrian Civil War knows that the essential character of the New Syrian Army, so beloved by McCain, Graham and the other Ziocons was always jihadi and it was always fully supported by Wahhabi Saudi Arabia as a project in establishing Sunni triumphalism. They and the self proclaimed jihadis of HTS (AQ) are still supported in Idlib and western Aleppo provinces both by the Saudis and the present Islamist and neo-Ottoman government of Turkey.

Well pilgrims, there are Christmas trees in the newly re-built Christian churches of Aleppo and these, my brothers and sisters in Christ remember who stood by them in "the last ditch."

"Currently there are at least 600 churches and 500,000–1,000,000 Christians in Iran." wiki below. Are they dhimmis? Yes, but they are there. There are NO CHURCHES in Saudi Arabia, not a single one and Christianity is a banned religion. These are our allies?"

I would dare any NLer to challenge this man's knowledge of the MENA region. Also, he opposed the first Iraq War by Bush knowing there was no WMD.
