Politics / Re: I Bought Fuel N65 A Liter Stress Free That Means This Week'll Be A Great One ! by tundewoods(m): 5:27pm On Feb 08, 2010 |
Demdem: @ Demdem On a serious note,I got fuel at a Conoil gas station close to my crib this morning and infact i decided to buy extra in my 25 liter keg for my office gen set. Dude i never have power at my office in Ikeja so i practically run close to 8-9 hours on gen. So far we've still been running on 10 liter fuel we poured into the Gen,so i think the fuel is genuine . |
Politics / Re: Aliero To Reintroduce Okada In Abuja by tundewoods(m): 1:05pm On Feb 08, 2010 |
Lets be honest to ourselves, the re-introduction of Okada as a form of transportation to Abuja is quite an ok move to be candid if they can get them bikers to obey basic safety precautions and not have them riding like speed demons. |
Politics / I Bought Fuel N65 A Liter Stress Free That Means This Week'll Be A Great One ! by tundewoods(m): 12:31pm On Feb 08, 2010 |
OK, to start with I couldn't believe my eyes when i drove in to a nearby gas station to get fuel for my car and gen set and actually noticed first of all that there were no regular long queues and secondly i was able to buy fuel at the normal pump price of N65. Was it a dream or what ? Harsh reality is that nowadays we are getting use to our hardship in Nigeria and when by chance things seem to return to normal we tend to get baffled or amazed . So i am quick to conclude that this week will be a great one. Or was it because Rilwan Lukman had given a directive to NNPC top shots to either get things back to normalcy or loose their jobs ? Any which way, i believe this week will be a great one considering the fact that Peter Obi won elections in Anambra against the the PDP Machines and lastly this week will hopefully usher us to the end of the current lock jam which our "Saudi Patient" Yar'Adua has put us in for refusing to simply temporarily hand over to his Vice to act while he is away. |

Congratulations Ghana ! For being the second highest donor to Haiti based on GDP ! Please do not forget to collect your certificate for this out standing achievement and i'll recommend that you laminate the certificate . One last thing, make sure it's preserved in a place where it won't be affected by the ghana earthquake as earlier rumored |

Politics / Now That The Anambra Elections Have Come And Gone by tundewoods(m): 8:58pm On Feb 07, 2010 |
Ok, Let me guess now that the Anambra elections have come and gone and the incumbent Gov. Peter Obi has been declared the winner. As usual some of the aggrieved losers will contest the results of the elections and go to the tribunals as usual. If the reports of INEC shortcomings are anything to go by,then the other candidates may have point, or it should i say points. But considering the fact that Nigerian's are usually sore losers by default.I have this strong feeling and premonition that the case of some aggrieved candidates for going to the tibunal may just be a comical excuse. If your guess is as good as mine, then a very good excuse or case to file at the Tribunal is the fact that a Federal High Court had even declared the Anambra election as illegal in the first place and that they couldn't hold due to the fact of insufficient Inec Commissioners. But wait a minute, thats a fact. The election its self was illegal yet they went ahead to participate in it. Lets carefully wait to see the sore loser to use fact as his or her defence. |

This was the first words i came accross when i decided to read an article on the latest developments regards Nigeria "African viewpoint: The nation state" on BBC's website. Lets face it we may be indeed be the longest suffering people on earth. With all we go through as Nigerians All our woes : Bad leaders, No Electricity, No fuel, Bad Roads, Ethnic violence, Troubled Education system . The list goes on and on. I think this is a point of fact we are in deed the longest suffering people on Earth. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8493711.stm |

Try to not to be biased or sentimental with your post atimes.I can assure you it will make you feel a lot better. Topic @ : Cecilia Ibru: Efcc Uncovers Assets Worth N800bn It's obvious that the EFCC now seems to be obsessed with inflating figures and have left their primary role and duty of fighting corruption. |

Quite a long thread, but i've managed to some how go through it. Well she may be right that she has a large crowd. A friend brought her live recording mp3 over to us in the states last year from Nigeria. And he was loving it crazy. . Honestly i could listen to it for too long before i stuck my hands in my ear to stop listening to her lewd lyrics. lol |

Politics / Re: Yaradua Saga : Could This Be A Deja Vu Of Abacha's Last Days ? by tundewoods(m): 3:20pm On Jan 29, 2010 |
naija_swag: At all At all na him bad pass, that's one of my own favorite pidgin adages and i feel presently our situation has reached an "At all, At all" Situation. Yes i agree to come degree the situation on ground may have gradually surpassed the Abacha breaking point. But i will keep my fingers crossed,we shall soon have some relief and breath of fresh air. just a matter of time , |
Politics / Yaradua Saga : Could This Be A Deja Vu Of Abacha's Last Days ? by tundewoods(m): 2:49pm On Jan 29, 2010 |
Let's face it,you dont need to be a shrink or a psychic to have the premonition that the present Yar Adua saga may simply end or better put climax the way the Abacha days ended. If we can still remember clearly back in 1998 the events that occured shortly before Abacha did us a favour by dropping Dead ! Almost every thing seems like a deja vu, with striking reoccurences. Abacha was so keen on holding on to power that almost unilaterally was gathering support for all the so called political parties endorsing him as a single /solo flag bearer of all the parties. (WOW ! the lamest thing i had heard of all my life back then). The tension back then was so high and an uprising was in the making before Abacha dropped dead. Whether it was divine intervention or not but the fact remains that Abacha died just about the right time. Now about 11 years later destiny is repeating its self this time the insistence of the Cabal that their puppet Any way lets sit back and watch the Abacha Deja vu repeat its self. I'm no prophet of doom but i have this very strong feeling that the fella Yar'Adua may make to the country with or without his speculated life support. But will prove the FEC and PDP wrong in their claim that he is fit to rule. When we will all wake up one faithful day to hear he has gone the Abacha way. It's just a matter of time |

chidichris: It is really amazing at the level of tribalitic anamocity that goes on here. Come on guys i keep saying this and will continue to say it. Name calling and abuses will not solve what ever grievances you may have at the so called failed Nigerian state. This is just a virtual forum and nothing more. Live your life and try to better your immediate society in anyway you can.Sitting in front of your computer trading abuses will in now way solve our problems.I think the original poster just started a thread that in my own opinion wasn't aimed at starting a tribal banter. From the blues you guys seem to taking it in another context. Haba !! |
