Please is there any other ways one can go about it? Speak to your bank, all closed account can still be retrieved depending on the year. DHA and assessing authorities only consider last 10 years so the bank should still have such records. Or get the payslips. Tax or pension is also a good extra |

Saynoomore: Thanks bro!
I've received the nomination mail now, and have been given 2 months to apply! I least expected they'd nominate me so fast. In fact, I'm yet to raise the money for a family of 5. The money is quite huge . My questions are:
1. Can I apply alone for the 190 subclass, and later apply for spouse and kids?
2. What are job prospects in SA ? How easy is it to find any job to get-by (while white-collar jobs are desirable, I'm not insisting on white-collar job. I'm okay with any job just to get busy, such as a blue-collar job until one finds a white-collar job). I tried going online to search for this information and read a lady's comments complaining about the difficulties involved in getting a job in SA. Her comments got me scared!
3. How easy is it to settle in SA. 1. Yes, but I’ll prefer you apply for everyone at once and you can move to Australia first while the rest of the family joins later. It’s easier that way cos applying later for spouse and family will cost you more money. 2. Job prospects is great in SA. I can see you are open minded, just add positivity to it and you will fly. Jobs are available everywhere and one person’s experience does not invalidate others. I have had jobs back to back and same with others here and in the groups. If you think you can get a white collar job in 2 weeks upon landing, work towards it and you can get it. Don’t limit yourself. Some have even gotten jobs before they landed. 3. SA has a lot of people within close proximity cos it’s mainly Adelaide. So settling in should be fine. Of course it’s not going to be smooth cos you are moving to a new country but you will survive. We all did. And the best part is you are coming in as PR. |

Yes I am married and our profile is as follows:
Wife: Education: Bsc Accounting School: UNN Experience: 5 years experience as an Accountant Occupation looking at nominating: External Auditor 221213 (Her experience and what she does at work match well with this). The last invitation was 65. English: Not taken yet. Age range: 25 - 33
Mine Education: Bsc Software Development School: Unversity outside Nigeria (European school ) Experience: 4 years experience as an Software engineer English: Not taken yet. Age range: 25 - 33
Please which profile will work better as the primary applicant and get an invitation quicker?
Am still a newbie on this any advice and suggestion are highly appreciated.
Thank you 65 is the minimum invitation score but not for accountants. Profile: none cos those two occupations are competitive however your spouse may have a better chance |

I have a BSc in Information Resources Management, MSc in Industrial and Labour Relations but I work as an administrative officer. My mum has a restaurant which has been in operation since 2011 till date of which I am a part of this restaurant. I want to relocate to Australia under the skilled visa as a Restaurant Manager and I will need Vetassess to do the assessment. My question is this, how can i get a positive assessment with no educational qualifications as a restaurant manager but with over 10 years of work experience?
Thank you You need at least a diploma and a good reference letter detailing solid job descriptions of a cafe/restaurant manager to get a positive assessment. Do you have payslips, pension, tax and bank statement showing salary payments for those 10 years? |

RealPontif: @Tunlex01
Sometime in the past, you mention including a proof to backup of your claim. For instance, a link.
Can these links be directly added inside the Status Declaration document itself or should there be another written stuff where the links/explanations/proofs can be written?
Then one can attach it along with the Status Declaration?
Thanks That was for Nysc where tax is not required. For main employments, organisations are required to pay tax except your company is exempted which means there is an exemption certificate issued to such company |

RealPontif: Okay!
But I thought "going to tax authority to pay the previous taxes" is for personal business.
That if your former employer can't provide you with a tax and pension proof, then that's when you make a Status Declaration.
Is that not so? No. Get your previous/current companies to pay the tax or pay it yourself. |

Please @All experienced comrades and @Everyone
Please who has done Status Declaration before (especially for inability to provide pension and tax documents)?
1. How did you do it?
2. Do you or can you type it out and then take it to court to sign and stamp or how?
3. Is it the same procedure for doing something like (Affidavit of Change of Name)?
Thanks all. Yes, at the court. They gave me a sample and I edited it to suit my needs. I haven’t seen anyone do stat declaration for tax or pension. They have gone to the tax authority to pay the previous taxes. 3. It’s the same process as long as you have valid reason and evidence to back up your claim. That’s all |

Prisval10: @ tunlex @ belong, made a similar mistake but mine wasn't deliberate. In my eoi I mistakenly answered yes when asked about Australian Qualification requirement, thinking they asked if my qualification is recognized by Australia for immigration purpose. I became worried when my total point increased by 5 points, since then I was unable to access my immi account to know the breakdown. Shortly I was invited by Western Australia through general scheme schedule 1(overseas). I almost fainted on Sunday when I succeeded in accessing my account for the first time to discover the 5 points was allocated to Australian Qualification requirement. I was invited for nomination on November and the invitation point was 65, after deduction of the 5 points, my point is still above the cut off. I have written to them(WA) to explain my predicament.
My questions are as follows. 1. For nominating me as an overseas candidate not minding my error, does it mean they recognized it as mistake since nowhere in eoi stated I schooled in Australia? 2. For informing them immediately before the outcome of the nomination application. Will it solve the problem.
NB: I have already updated my eoi and my point is still above the Nov. Cut off. If you got your EOI updated before you got the nomination, that’s fine. You can go ahead. Also yours was unintentional but his was very intentional cos the system request for reference number, date and scores which means he deliberately put in wrong details |

"Declarant Name" and "Your Name"
What is the difference between the two? What/who is the "Declarant name" and who/what is the "Your name"?

AdisaOwala: The invitation was from NSW - 190 provincial nomination First, you have provided wrong information on your EOI. So your ITA is invalid. If you proceed, your application will be refused. This is because you have provided incorrect infromation on the English result to claim the 5 points. Also note that you will not be getting another invitation from NSW within the next 12 months. Good luck to you |

RealPontif: Okay! Thanks.
1. First, there is a genuine reason for the inability to provide the pension and tax documents. So, my question is, can you make one Statutory Declaration document stating proofs and why you're unable to provide the tax and pension informations, (inside one Statutory Declaration document)? i.e one Stat. Decla. document for both tax and pension.
Do you get?
2. Second, if the payments were made by hand (cash), can you still make a payslip for it?
Thanks. Yes, you can use one stat declaration for both yes, cash payment is not an exemption for payslip, pension or tax statement. |

Issue is that in my EOI, I stated that my wife has the required IELTS result. However, her result is not yet out.

What do you advise?
Should I still forge ahead with the application, or wait and submit a new EOI when her result is out?

RealPontif: Good day great guy.
Please for this Statutory Declaration thing, does one have to get a statutory declaration for every single document that he's unable to get?
For example, for any single past employment of mine, I have in mind that I should provide 1. Payslip 2. Reference letter 3. Pension document 4. Tax certificate
Now, my question is; If I'm able to provide only 1. Payslip and 2. Reference letter
Should I provide 2 separate statutory declaration documents, for the other 2 documents that I'm unable to get? like; 3. one for Pension and 4. another one for Tax certificate Or should I make only one statutory declaration to cover for both 3. Pension and 4. Tax certificate?
I wonder if my question is clear enough.
Thanks as always. No, you don’t have to get stat declaration for all documents except your company has exemption from paying taxes or pension. Getting a payslip should not be an issue. If you don’t have it and you have bank statement, that should be good. Stat declaration cannot cover pension or tax except you have genuine reasons why you are getting a stat declaration |

Please I would really appreciate guidance from those experienced in this journey. Thanks a lot Do you have a qualification and experience as a baker. If you do, just keep applying. An assessment may be beneficial cos it shows the employer you are eligible and DHA won’t refuse your application., English test is compulsory before you apply for 482. |
