No they won’t. You need a bachelors or masters qualification to assess as a Business analyst.

I'm in Australia trying do my assessment with VATESSE.

I used to work in a bank in Nigeria for over 6yrs. The statement of service given to me by HR is not in line with the format VATESSE will use to access me.
Questions

1. Can a letter from anyone in the bank signed on the letter head do?

Though ppl i have spoken to are scared as HR frowns at ppl signing such letter.

2. How far do they do in verifying these documents?
3. Is it advisable to attach the 1 page document of statement of service from HR with whatever I can get from a staff who I worked under?

2. They can verify any document to any length. There is no formula to the extent.
3. Yes you can do that

Ensure all communication (back&forth) is via email so you can attach it to your email to explain why you are using a fellow colleague. This will give credence to the reference letter you design yourself and you should also notarise it.

You can apply for assessment with EA with that score but re-writing another one will help boost your score and you may be able to get nomination. Getting nomination with any score lower than proficient as an Engineer may be a tall order

You cannot claim single if you are married. If DHA eventually finds out, your visa will be refused or cancelled. Also, you may be excluded from any Australian visa application between 3-10 years and you may not be able to get visa from other countries Australia share reports with.

There is no timeline per se. Some have gotten it in few days (with reasonable excuse) while standard were 3-6 weeks. Also, it varies from state to state

I’ve ran out of patience and want to withdraw the application and apply for 482 subsequent entrant as I married just this year and my wife happens to be on 482 Labour agreement. Is this move a good one ? Note; I wasn’t going to let DHA find out that I got married. Should I go ahead or continue waiting for this 489 that I don’t know when it’ll come.

It's not a good option. 489 is better than 482 as the former has a pathway to PR.
COs have been contacting 489 applicants in recent times for medicals and new PCC. You will be contacted.

For which occupation?
It's stated on Vetassess website that your transcript and copy of your certificate must be sent directly by the school, in your case, schools for BSc and Msc.

I intend to commence my jakpa to Australia but I need clarification on tax and pension matters.

*My details*

Marital status: single

AGE: 30

IELTS: LRSW: 8.5,7.5,7.7 (overall band 7.5). Will expire may next year.

Work experience: 5 years (different companies. Company A= 1st 2 yrs, company B current/remaining 3 yrs)

Tax issue: No tax was paid for company A (inclusive of NYSC). For the remaining 3 yrs(compayB), only 1yr+ tax was remitted (my company just started paying that)

Pension: I have no pension for the 5 yrs work experience. But around 2012(was still in school), I worked with a firm for 3 months, and my pension was paid by the company ( they opened the pension account for me). Till date the account is still valid and I receive monthly financial update from the pension company.

Questions:

1) can I commence the journey with just a1 yr+ of tax payment?

2) is there any way I can pay my tax for the remaining 3yrs+ ?

3) can I use my undergraduate pension account?

4) is it possible to pay pension for all my 5 years of experience?

You didn’t state anything about your occupation.
Undergraduate Pension for the 3 months will not suffice cos the dates remitted will be clear on the statement. You can still use the same account for your company to start remitting pension however for the purpose of migration, only payment made during time of employment for the occupation you are assessing will be calculated.

Company B: the 1 year payment, does it cover the entire 3 years or just one year? Get your company to o make full payment for the 3 years.

Not sure if you can make pension. You should make the enquiries with the companies/tax authorities/ pension company

I have pension from all the years of experience except NYSC. However, no tax for the telecommunications experience.

From 2014 - date experience in power system, I have both tax and pension evidence.

Can pension statement from ARM suffice? I also have my pay slip with pension and tax deductibles as evidence.


For NYSC, I have letter of engagement and " to whom it may concern letter" at the end of the service year. I stopped using the wema bank account they opened for me for their allowance after NYSC. ( I don't know if I reactivate it, I can still print the statement of account to show evidence of earnings)

For telecom experience, I have the offer letter and pension deduction in ARM statement of account

For the power system experience, I have the appointment letter, pension and tax deduction in pay slip as well as Pension in my ARM retirement savings account as evidence

You may have to get evidence to support that NYsc is exempted or you remove Nysc from the experience years.
Pension is pension whether from ARM or any pension company.
Payslips that shows pension or tax deductions do not mean it’s actually remitted and cannot replace pension or tax statement

You don’t need to reactivate an account to print out bank statement. Reach out to your bank.

Depends on your assessing authority.
EA, TRA, ACS and a few others request for it at the point of assessment.
While it’s required for visa application whether your assessing authority requests for it or not

What if an employee is not willing to give reference letter, what can one use in lieu?

One of the most important questions is that do you have pension or tax statement for all the years of experience?
That can serve as reference letter.
You can get a supervisor to issue you one.
