BoldassBadasser: Good morning boss! thank you sir for your Swift response!
I think I will go through self employed medium
now as of the company registration number I think I can work something out.
invoices from suppliers and customers alike.. don't think would be a problem too
but evidence of payment for job done? come on... this oyibo people packaging too much naa
boss you know how we run this time here naa, "bricklaying job is not such a reputable job here", it's just a blue collar job where most of the payment are done with physical cash.
now boss how do I get pass over this one?
thanks hoping to hear from you soon Sincerely, no idea how you want to go about it without evidence of payment |

DoDirtsLikeWorm: Baba you lost me here o! For someone who has Diploma in Elect-Elect, I believe one year should be Sufficient for anything electrical Level-2 related? Perhaps you didn't get me. TRA requires applicant to have at least 3 years experience in the occupation being nominated. Not talking about the qualification |

I want to know if the nominated profession qualifies me to apply. And also if there are any other things I need to know about the VETASSESS thing. How many points would be needed.. Question 1 not clear Question 2: All you need to know about Vetassess is on their website. One other thing is that Vetassess is very particular about your job descriptions aligning with your occupation. That's the key to getting a positive assessment. Transcript delivery for both degrees are required as well. Question 3: not clear as well....needed for what? I |

BoldassBadasser: please doing the TRA Assessment will I have pay for all the fees on their site?
and are they different from the 4047AU$ that I still have to pay afor the visa...?
forgive my questions, I know it sound lay. but I'm a newbie to this whole visa process. TRA Assessment fee is A$1000 except if there is any other requirement for an occupation like Bricklaying. Yes, visa fee is different from assessment fee Assessment fee is to Assessing bodies while Visa fee is to Department of Home Affairs |

BoldassBadasser: thanks you sir for your response!
please I want to ask... when you said something about having atleast 3 years VERIFIABLE experience as a bricklayer can you please throw more light?
what if I do this bricklaying job independently without being under any company? how do I verify?
Although I have an inlaw who works for registered building company in Lagos and I worked with them for about a year and half or so before I left the company.
what do you advice I should do sir. I have been on bricklaying job for dunky years even before uni days but just don't know how I can go about the verification since apart from the company I worked for with my uncle in Lagos, must of my jobs has been as an independent body.
should I contact my uncle since he works with them to get the company to help with a verifiable 3years working experience under their establishment?
thanks I look forward to you reply at your earliest convenience. Verifiable experience which you must have payslips, tax, pension or bank statement for at least 3 years before assessing with TRA as well as qualification documents qualifying you to be a Bricklayer. For self employed, you will need company registration document, invoices from suppliers and customers, evidence of payment for job done etc. |

babajava: Just recently re-assessed as Transport company manager and it came out positive. Now waiting for wifey's assessment outcome, most definitely using her as the PA.
But does it mean that any job I wish to apply for must be centered around a managerial role ( I love the salaries attached to them) due to my assessment outcome, cos I wish to continue in the transport & logistics sector & I'd like to know the region where its demand is high having in mind wifey's job too. Slowly but surely. E go end well In sha Allah @tunlex, @bellong Congratulations on your positive assessment. Your employment after landing has no bearing to the occupation you assessed for. You can decide to switch occupation. It's all up to you. I'll advise you concern yourself with getting ITA first, wherever you land, you will be fine |

My field of study “maritime” might really be essential at the moment but I once checked on the 494. Is there any other visa means or I should get some work experience in my field of study before planning for the PR, I await your response. You will need at least one year experience if your occupation is on the list. What's your ANZSCO code? |

jessbonz: Hello everyone. I'm currently working here in Nigeria and I'm also doing an online program to secure an MBA degree with a school in London. I've done a lot of research online and I realized that Australia pays better than London. I don't like Canada because of the cold. I'm yet to complete my MBA program but I want to migrate to Australia and continue the program. Please what's the best way to do this. What's the easiest way to get a work visa in Australia. I've been applying online via seek.com but I haven't gotten any positive response since I don't have a Visa . I feel the whole IELTS thing is a long process and it's not even certain that I'll get It. Please I need advice. I work in the banking industry The earlier you start preparing for the English test, the better for you. Getting a job from Nigeria is super unrealistic except you have specific skills which are readily not available here; not even 'banking industry' |

We are also open to suggestions based on our unique situation. I am just lost on where and how to start and what are our chances?

Thanks in advance. For Vetassess, certifications does not really have bearings. Only Degrees are considered. You can visit www.anzscosearch.com to check out the occupation(s) you can nominate. You can only nominate one occupation. For example, if you nominate a facilities manager, all other experiences are operations manager will not be considered. |

Laxy009: Good day All,
I tend trying Australia PR. I’m having a paper left in my professional qualification(ICAN)
Course :Accounting (2016) Current Role : Internal Control -less than a year Previous Role: Accountant -2yrs Age :26 IETLS-Nil Anzocode : 221213 (MLTSSL) Assessing body -CPA,IPA,CAANZ
Have tried accessing my skills points (65-70)
My fiancé HND -Business Admin (part time ) Current occupation : Restaurant Manager
Which of the visa class would be suitable?
Any hope for me Internal control/Accountant is not the same with External auditor. Also, Accountant, External auditors or similar roles are not hot cake for offshore nomination due to increased number of applicants onshore. Your spouse can assess as a restaurant manager if he/she has enough experience. |

Ayooze: I have issues with canada because of the band 8 in IELTS required for me to even reach 471 points and its most likely going to go up with the way people want to write the exam now.
PGD is not a PhD its barely a full masters. its just the same point with a professional masters like MBA not even a academic degree
But i also have google digital skills certificate , hubspot email marketing certificate i even have SAP Materials Management certification that i havent used....no mind me i just gather certificate anyhow Pgd is just a Graduate Diploma for Australia migration. If you have plans to leave country, you will be better off getting the IELTS band and facing Canada squarely |

mobiss: Hi All,
Please I need assistance on how to go about the TRA migration process. I have a B.Tech in Mechanical Engr. with 3 yrs work experience in logistics and supply chain, presently I am 36 and running my own business now. I would have love to get accessed by EA but my first-degree qualification doesn't align with my little year's of work experience. So, I thought of going in through TRA.
Likewise, I'm yet to do my English test but from the points calculation, the max I could get will be around 70 points.
PS: I'm married with 2 kids.
Is TRA possible for me? TRA is number one crusader of occupation aligning with qualification. Which occupation do you plan to nominate? |

Ayooze: Guys I need serious advice
I have b.tech applied geophysics and PGD entrepreneurship development which I finished January my result isn't out yet due to what's happening in nigeria
I have been working as a digital marketer for 3 years now(2017) although it's my own e-commerce startup Now the issue is I wasn't operating properly so I was just paying myself salary anyhow I wanted. No payslip
I recently got a job in another organisation for digital marketing executive although I'm performing managerial role. I'm starting their whole online presence
But you know naija low pay so they don't want to give manager tag so you don't ask for money.
I plan to apply for this PR program next year after I write my IELTS which I'm certain I'll get at least band 7 which puts me at 70points already (I'm single 26years)
I'm positioning myself as a marketing specialist 225113 MARKETING SPECIALIST
Now the issue is my degree not matching my work experience
What do I do?
My PGD is like a professional MBA does it qualify me ?
Also can anyone give a rough amount of money needed to compete this process
Please I need urgent response, I'm trying to plan my life ahead and quick BTech in Geophysics is far away from Marketing. Also Pgd is not a Master's. It won't fly. Your best bet is Canada |

Ikjosh04: Hi Tunlex01, thank you for all you do.
Please the bolded caught my attention, I am/will be studying Msc Engineering Management in Aussie as soon as the boarder opens up and the bolded caught my attention.
Please hope I'll be able to assess for my PR as an Engineering manager without facing the 6yrs experience ish?
I am a fresh graduate and I barely have working experience here in Nigeria. The bolded was specifically referring to IML's (formerly known as AIM) assessment process. Studying Engineering management does not make you an Engineering manager especially with IML. Perhaps EA may accept a fresh graduate. Have you read through the tasks of an Engineering manager? This is a general description of the occupation Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the engineering and technical operations of organisations. |

I will like to apply for 491 as a Civil Engineering draftperson, I have 5 years verifiable experience. I spoke with an aunt in NZ last sunday and she sounded so discouraging that Aussie is at the moment not processing any long stay Visa till maybe 2022, I don't know how true it is so I bought it to the house as a lot of people here are already in the system.
Please at the moment is processing an Aussie 491/190 visa a waste of time? Or its safe to forge ahead? Thank you.
CC: @bellong, @tunlex01, @bligs, @anybody else wey sabi! I won't say your aunt is not giving accurate information but Aussie is still processing migration even though it's at a slow pace due to the Covid19 pandemic but in this week, there has been surge in visa grants. I have gone through the site and the only job that relates to what am doing right now is Sales and Marketing Manager on STSOL. Can I still go ahead and give it a try considering my degree is different from my experience? To assess for that occupation, you need to be a senior manager reporting directly to the MD. Assessing as a manager here requires at least over 6 years experience at the managerial level |

Just to be clear when you say i will have a better chance do u mean i will have leave my hubby behind and secure mine first? I really dont want to go to a foreign land alone.
Here is my occupation from STSOL list : 251312 - Occupational Health and Safety Adviser and 132311 - Human Resource Manager. Assessing Authority for both - VETASSESS.
Thank you. No, I meant you have a better chance of getting a positive assessment and being the PA than your spouse. Now you have two options, did your spouse also check for his occupation? Human resource manager is not assessed by Vetassess, it's IML. You can check again. With HRM, you must be a full manager reporting to the Managing director. Have you checked other HR roles? 223111, 223112, 223113 For 251312, visit Vetassess website to read the fact sheet for the occupation if it's applicable and read thru their assessment process. It's simple and straightforward. If you have any query, you can always ask here. |
